I recently came back from a RL road trip and thought it would be nice to recreate that on Second Life.ZVI has a classic floral top as a free gift.I fell in love with the super cute car from 777 (which costs just 99L). I’m totally having fun showing off all the fun gifts on the FabFree Fallen Leaves & Frost Hunt. I’ve got two awesome finds to show you today, starting with this cropped tank top from Masoom. It’s a bright fallish orange, perfect for relaxing around the house and looking cute while you’re at it. It’s completely free, you just need to do a bit of hunting for it!
The second item I’m showing off is the extremely delicate and detailed sake set that I picked up at Ishiku. They are constantly blowing me away with their sweet and perfectly crafted items. I did attempt to find an in-world location, but was unsuccessful. I’ve always liked the idea of wearing certain more lingerie-like pieces as outerwear in a fashion sense. This is for me one of those “fashion experiments” if you will. I wore one of the BOM layer bodysuits under the high-cropped top from ChicModa.

There are some fashion items that though they speak of another decade, they are timeless. I feel that way about dresses with peter-pan collars. Needless to say, I had to show this dress by Fashionably Dead. It’s their free gift in celebration of Second Life’s 16th Birthday. I think it happens to go perfectly with Lamb’s gift hairstyle for SL16B, and the gift set of pastel lip colors Alaskametro has out as their free SL16B gift. I felt like a 1960s fashion model with a modern edge. Keep reading for more info on each of these fantastic freebies.
I really love this free SL16B gift dress by Fashionably Dead. It comes in a wide range of solid colors, and has a girlish but still grown up look to it. The Fashionably Dead shop for SL16B is located in the Gilded region. This cute dress comes in the following sizes for each color: Maitreya Lara, Slink (Physique, Hourglass), Belleza (Isis, Freya).
This flowing over the shoulders hairstyle is the free SL16B gift by Lamb. It comes in a full fatpack of colors. It also has a hairbase style hud with the choice of hiding or showing the hairbase feature. Lamb’s shop is in SL16B’s Tinseled region. You’ll find this generous freebie waiting there.

Hello and happy weekend Fab Free’rs! The Imaginarium event started today and I am so happy to be able to share with you this lush furniture, food, and décor gacha set by Petite Mort. The set is called “Summer Gazebo” and I have to say if I had a gazebo like this one in my real life, I might never leave it. The set is just 50 linden per play and includes all the furniture, food items, and décor shown except the cats. Even the gazebo structure itself is part of the set. There are 9 total common items, 2 rares, and the decadent raspberry cake is an event exclusive awarded after 20 plays. Don’t miss out, the Imaginarium event is open June 1st through June 31st.
Hello Fab Free’rs! Sometimes you just need to sit and have a quiet moment. Yesterday was that kind of day for me, nothing sad or unfortunate, just some quiet time to reflect. It was good, and needed. I also had a little bit of time to pick up some recent group gifts that I’m happy I get to share with you. Keep reading and as always, I’ll give you all the information about each of these fabulous finds.
The Outfit – Pru’s cute froggy top and plaid pants are the latest free gift for Fabulously Free in SL group members by C!L. You can’t see it as well in my photo, but the shirt is cropped and knotted in the front. I love this for a cute casual Valentine look. The outfit comes in several sizes and is suitable for classic avatars. If you’re not already a Fab Free group member, you should be! The Fab Free group is always free to join.
The Bracelet – Hot Elegant Clothing or “HEC” put out a cute bracelet set out as a new group gift. It comes in a few sizes to best fit specific mesh bodies. Also, there is a hud that will let you completely customize the color of individual sections of the bracelets. I’ve included the vendor photo below so you can get a closer look. The HEC group has a one time join fee of 25 linden.
The Bench – This adorably rustic heart bench is a free group gift at Reka. The Reka group is free to join. It has a few female sit poses, a few male sit poses, and several cuddles. I love the over all look of this sweet free gift, especially the way the bench curves toward the center. This freebie is waiting at the Reka landing point. Happy weekend, fabulous readers! I was too lazy to even get my virtual self dressed today, so I thought I would share a few home and garden freebies instead.
Shelter Me
First off is this lovely Garden Shelter, which is a group gift from KraftWork. It’s a dark wood on the inside, and it looks like it was carved into a rock on the backside. The whole thing clocks in at just 9 LI. The 3 lights on the back wall are included.
Next is the cozy bench. DMG set out this Outdoor Seating as their June group gift. At 5 LI, it includes animations for singles as well as cuddles.
The pretty planters you see here are the latest group gift from Shutter Field. The Tuscan Planters come in a tall version (on the left) and a short version (on the right). Both are 2 LI each.
Because They Were There
I wasn’t looking for them, but I managed to pick up a few extra gifts while I was out:
See the little bird on the arm of the Outdoor Seating (if not, you can click the photo to make it bigger). He’s a Spring Blue Jay and can be found as a free gift at La Galleria. This cutie is just 1 LI and has an “intermittent sound script” with touch for on/off. Note: there are quite a few other gifts at this store, so be sure to take a look around.
The Plaster Candles on the table are a free gift at Apple Fall. They are 2 LI and you can turn the flame on and off with a touch.
Last but not least are the Macarons in a Box on the table. These are also a free gift at Apple Fall and are just 1 LI. Aline showed them in her post HERE, but they might not have been a free gift at the time. Be sure to grab them NOW while they’re free!

When I was little, we lived across from a big field (quite unusual for someone growing up in the big city!) and there were always lovely birds coming to visit our backyard. We saw Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Red Winged Blackbirds quite frequently. I’d always race to the cupboard to grab my binoculars and our bird book to identify which feathered friends were visiting today. That either sounds completely nerdy, or insanely cozy… perhaps it’s somewhere in between! I found the perfect outfit for bird watching – and no binoculars were required to find it!
