Hey there fabbies!
Have you ever had one of those weeks where you can’t seem to get anything you WANT to do done because of all of the stuff everyone else wants you to do? That’s been my week! I DID manage, however, to grab Sn@tch‘s newest fishing outfit (in between running all over the place!)

Next, On a lark has out the Amadeo dress (which I’m wearing above) in a ton of colours, as well as the simplicity gown in a variety of colours. Each outfit is rigged mesh, and the simplicity gown includes a little matching capelet and a modesty under shirt.

Finally, Velvet whip has quite a few items out for the sale, one of which is the “Displayed beauty” outfit I have on above. This outfit is certainly not for the shy! A friend of mine teleported me over to Artizana Ethnic Couture’s mainstore recently because a couple of of the group Lucky Boards had some interesting men’s prizes on them.  Within a short amount of time (the boards change letters every 5 minutes) I got myself a couple of great outfits.  Artizana specializes in brightly colored African- and Carribean-style clothing for women, but has a small line of men’s clothing as well.  There are eight lucky boards (six of which currently have women’s clothing) and two MM boards, but you have to join the group to win from any of the boards.

One of the men’s Lucky Board prizes at Artizana is the mesh Nidolo XIII vested outfit in brown and tan which is a bit of a departure from Artizana’s usual ethnic specialty.  Nidolo can also be purchased like the single-colored one in this picture in any of several color schemes, and consists of a shirt, vest, and pants as three separate pieces so that you can mix and match the pieces with other things in your wardrobe.  You can also purchase either the “classic” or the “exotic” versions of the Nidolo Collection which gets you a mix and match texture change HUD giving you 16 options for the vest and pants and 20 options for the shirt and tie.  I took this picture outside the Artizana mainstore to show you the lovely garden there full of exotic flowers in case you’re looking for a good place to take some pictures for this month’s FabFree “May Flowers” photo challenge.

The picture on the right is the other Artizana men’s Lucky Board prize, the mesh Lakana II Bogolan Dashiki with matching pants and kufi cap.  Dashikis are amazingly comfortable and cool to wear during hot weather so I went over to the visually stunning KwaZulu Natal African region to take this picture.  While I was walking around looking for a place to take the picture I happened upon this little herd of elephants splashing in a pool of water.  If it looks like I’m glancing nervously to the side in this picture it’s because this cute little elephant’s mother was just off camera to the side trying to swat me away with her trunk.

A grey and rainy spring day

So spring has finally sprung… and, in my neck of the woods, it has been a rainy, soggy, wet, and icky couple of days… although the weather seems to be improving, and if where you live is anything like where I live, then you might need some wellies, a cute outfit, and a fun umbrella! Luckily, MTC has us covered with their newest midnight mania gift!

The spring shower outfit includes a cute sweater dress in 2 different styles, a pair of black leggings, a black long-sleeve top, wellies, and even a cute umbrella! While the outfit does come with an umbrella, I can never resist breaking out an umbrella from Remarkable Oblivion when it rains! I previously showed another of their umbrellas [HERE], but I just love them too much to not keep showing them!

Lumae @ The Wash Cart Sale

Good morning Fabulouses 😉  I am just popping in to show you an awesome almost free find at the Wash Cart Sale! At the Lumae Cart (Heartsick//Aeva), you can find the newly released Uma Perky Pink skin in three skin tones for just 10L per tone.  I am wearing the Honey skin tone, but there is also a lighter and a darker version available for purchase.  Inside the pack are freckles / brow options.

The Archives at Aeva//Heartsick (Part1)

If you are looking for a new skin or if you are helping someone to denoob, then this place is the motherload of discounts! Aeva//Heartsick have been redesigning their store and this time they have added a special area called The Archives and inside are past generations of skins, old hunt skins, old event skins and old special released skins at unbelievable discounts for females, males and even a set of child skins. There are also packs of shapes available! And whats best is that so many of the skins and shapes for sale are only L$10 each aswell as other hugely discounted prices.

I noticed as I was walking around that some skins have pictures and some don’t so there is no way of telling what the skins inside the little white boxes might look like. So this is my guide to The Archives! Hopefully it will help because this is an amazing idea!

Please note that there are more often than not multiple tones inside the boxes and so you really are getting so many skins.. but showing you them all would take a very very long time and I would be a blog hog! So I am choosing ONE tone to show you in the pictures, in the description beneath each picture I will tell you the tones included.

Going GaGa for PekaS May Group Gift!!

After getting dressed in my new outfit, I wanted to find someplace fun to hang out…. I found the INSILICO  sim, which is a Cyberpunk roleplay community @ http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/INSILICO/190/183/3603… You dont have to be a RP player to enjoy this sim though!!!  It’s got a full shopping district, dance halls, RP areas,  as well as apartments you can rent if you are looking for a new home in an environment that is certainly playful on the senses!!

Apparently I wear my GAGA sunglasses at night!!! … Me and Corey Hart must be cozy and stuff!!  I may not have been sporting armor and a jetpack but I certainly felt stylish in my new outfit from PeKaS… This skirt and top ensemble is May’s Group Gift and fits like a glove ❤  It also moves well and is textured with flair…

Aeva / / Heartsick @ The Wash Cart Sale

Another trip down to the Cart Sale @ The Wash today, and this time I picked up Aeva // Heartsick’s  Faith ~ 2 // Okami  skin that is available in 6 skin tones for 10L each.  This skin is also available in a petite version to be applied to Yabu Petite mesh avatars.  What a stunning skin this is, and has inspired me to go to the mainstore and try a demo of the new Faith line!

While I was down there doing some shopping I met Raine Shilling, who is an avid FabFree reader and describes herself as a shape shifter, a vampire, a DJ, a goof off, and a RPer here in SL.  Raine was a very beautiful human avatar when I met her, however she wasn’t kidding when she said she shape shifts often, she proved it with a photo of her in a giant dragon avatar!  She has a very eclectic wardrobe, snatching items from the carts, left and right as they catch her eye and returns to the cart sales whenever they are running  because she loves that she can find such great things.  She adds “You can’t beat the prices!“.
