There are enough people in the world who love pumpkin spice so they don’t need me. I recently accidentally bought a bottle of pumpkin spice coffee creamer thinking it was it was peppermint mocha. Hey! the bottle looked the same. Should have worn my glasses & read the label. I know that it’s been a huge hit since someone decided to put it into coffee. Someone can have my share.

Hello Fab Free, I hope your week has been going well. This girl could use a great big glass of wine and it’s only Wednesday. haha Though I personally do not celebrate Thanksgiving, I am very much thankful for so many things. That is my one take-away from this November holiday. It’s October. During this month, every bump, creak, and thud you hear seems to make your mind race. All those late night horror movies on the TV don’t make it any better. Have you ever had one of those friends that wants to pull you away from the safety of your home to go out and do some real ghost hunting? Whether it be the old creepy haunted house, run down school, or abandoned hospital. I knew two such people, that during the month of October had to visit at least one haunted place. A few years back they actually dragged me along. To none other then an old abandoned hospital. As we walked around, nothing seemed out of the ordinary to me. Sure a few sounds, maybe a moan, a thud in the distance. Then they dared me to go down to the morgue all by myself.
I was younger and never backed down from a dare. Yes, now that sounds rather idiotic and stupid. Totally something out of one of those horror movies we all watch. This time it was for real, for me anyway. I headed down to the morgue, stopping to make sure the bandanna on my hair was tied tight enough, gotta keep that long then unruly hair outta my eyes. That way I wouldn’t mistake it for some type of ghost in the corner of my eye. I pushed my way through the doors and walked into the morgue, which was a bit cold. I pulled up my hood, from my smoke skull hoodie around my neck. I looked around, pieces from the ceiling scattered on the floor, a few of the body drawer doors open, and an old gurney against the back double doors. Then WHAM!!! One of the doors to the body drawers slams closed. Then a squeak, the gurney rolls back. I turn my head and there she is. I defensively put up a hand, leg, and scream. Yes…..yes I screamed. For there was a ghostly apparition of a teenage girl standing not just two feet away from me. There I was living a real life horror movie. To which I ran away from as fast as I could.

It’s been cooler out, and today the winds came. For the first time this year it actually felt like autumn in my part of the world. For that I am most thankful. I’m also thankful that I can be here, with you, sharing fabulous things I find. For this post I actually didn’t need to traverse the grid to get my hands on a few goodies. Instead I took advantage of Second Life’s version of distance shopping, the Marketplace. Every now and then I take some time to poke through Marketplace listings just to see what I might find. For this look my hair, my top, and my manicure are all Marketplace dollarbies. I hope you enjoy them!

This decidedly wind-blown hairstyle is a 1 linden fatpack by Pr!tty on the Marketplace. It comes in a rigged and an unrigged version so you can resize the unrigged version. I really like these types of styles for photography. Since it’s a fatpack you’ll also get all the hair color choices available.
Catastrophic Creations
I love cacti and succulents. So it goes without question that I had to have this dollarbie Marketplace find from Catastrophic Creations. The rainbow colored flower pots are their nod toward Pride, which makes me like the shirt even more. This top is a unisex shirt that comes in a BOM system layer and a Maitreya Lara applier only.
TOASTED
Finally, my pink and bluish purple manicure is a dollarbie Marketplace as well. The single hud will apply the polish to your fingernails and toenails for a cute matching set. The tri-color polish comes in a Maitreya applier only.

Hello hello and happy weekend Fab Free’rs. I hope you’ve been enjoying yours. As for me, it’s been a productive sort of quiet weekend and I’m not at all mad about it. Even more, I’m excited to share with you some pretty summery finds from Dead Doll and Sweet Evil. On a side note, bonus points if you’re familiar with the movie from which I got my blog title, and the relation to the seals.

I think it went well with the skirt, and it has a tinting hud so you can tint the shirt to match just about anything with the choice of tinting the main part of the shirt and the straps separately. There are lots of things to choose from at Sweet Evil, including BOM items. Just a note of caution, if you’re at all bothered by bare breasts, you might skip this one. Spending my Saturdays in, on, or around the water has become my summer go-to. When it’s this hot and sunny out the waves are hard to resist, especially when Blue is able to join me for a day of splashing around in the waves and collecting shells. I took a time out in SL, browsed through some shops, and just had some me time. Along the way I also picked up these yellow shoes by Thrive, and this honey bee patterned top by Kieran Stephens Designs for free. Something about the bright warm yellow colors really uplifted my mood, and the “free” aspect didn’t hurt. Lastly, keeping with the yellow theme, this cozy chair from Consignment is just 1 linden. I have a thing for yellow-work boots. Call it nostalgia, call it weird, call it whatever you like, I love them. These “B-Ball Sneakers” by Thrive remind me exactly of that shade of work-boot-yellow. It has couples and singles animated poses, PG of course, and the textures are nice. To get yours you’ll need to find the vendor for this chair at Consignment, the vendor is small. It’s on the second level of the displays. You’ll see what I mean when you get there if you’ve not been before. There’s no group needed, just pay the vendor 1 linden and your chair will be sent to you.
