A Ride in the Country

I’ve been exploring again, and this time my dear friend took me horseback riding at a sim called Glanduin. You arrive and there are several areas on the sim where you can click a horse rezzer so that you can rezz a horse to ride to sight-see around the country side of the sim and its beautiful views!

I tried to put together a bit of a country girl look for the occasion, and with the help of a few lucky finds, I was able to do just that!

Three Tees!

Graffitiwear always puts out quality gifts each month, and August was no exception. They sent out three free fitmesh Tees with Maitreya autohide included as their August 2017 subscriber gift. (If you’re not a current subscriber just go to the store and slap that subsciber to get your gift.) For my picture, I donned the Tribal Tee, but I included a copy of the vendor add at the end of my blog post, so you could also see the Orange Tee and the Floral Tee as well. These fit like a charm and were so pretty!

Four skirts!

One Creations has out a generous free gift exclusively for FabFree group members. It’s a four pack of skirts in different colors. Like the Graffitiwear shirts, these skirts come in one fitmesh size, but I didn’t have any trouble getting them to fit as pretty as a picture. The four colors you get are brown (shown), red, blue, and black.

And shoes!

The Pirate Hunt also started today, so I stopped by Lindy Modern & Retro Shoes to see if there happened to be a pair of shoes I could work into my look. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the shoes for the hunt matched my outfit like a charm! For just 2L and a bit of hunting time, I picked up the Fara Fantasy flats. They come in sizes to fit Slink, Maitreaya, and Classic feet, and could match a variety of outfits with their muted blue and brown color scheme.

A Silver Vision

Fishing for my own silver.

I saw that Love was fishing for silver and got silver envy. In her post here she showed you one of the great gifts you can currently get from Sn@tch if you go 7 Seas fishing with your fishing pole for the New Years Grab Bag (hurry you still have a little bit of time, but not much). And it got me hankering for some silver of my own!

It all started with bubbles.

It all started with some bubbles. Actually #bubbles the store. I saw their advertisement for their January group gift and really fell in love with the unique split front top. The group is free to join, making the gift free as well. It is in a lovely grey shade with black crochet detailing along the split seam.

So I didn’t have to worry about fit at all! My silver shoes are part of the Frosting Hunt. You have until January 31st to pick them up, but why wait? For just 1L and a little hunting time, these flats are the silver lining you’ve been waiting for!

The final touch.

Finesmith is no longer in-world, sadly. But you can still get many of the beautiful creations on the marketplace. I was doing some marketplace hunting and came across a lovely necklace for just 10L that I couldn’t pass up. This Vision necklace pictured above is by Finesmith jewelry and with its beautiful details and shine (but not bling) is a wonderful final touch to any outfit – casual or formal. It’s well worth the 10L.

Summer Romance

It’s a beautiful Saturday and I have lots of goodies for you! My pretty look made me think of summer romance… flowers and picnics… and it all began with the new FREE group gift from *COCO* Clothes. I got a notice this morning that one of my favorite hair designers was offering a new VIP Group Gift. Anachron Take Me Away!

Remember those old © Calgon commercials where the actors would say in breathy voices, “Calgon take me away!”? That’s how I felt when I found this great line up of goodies and this fun beach front Blues Club this weekend!

Sure I could hit the beach in a bikini, but a Blues Beach Dance Club called for something a little more chez-chic so I headed over to [VM] Vero Modero and was happily rewarded with this sexy outfit perfect for dancing the night away under a starry sky. It shows just enough tummy to be hip (pun intended!) — and yet covers just enough to be modest as well! It includes the great pearl necklace and bangly bangles too and you can pick it up FREE with your group tag (the group is FREE to join as well!)

And if that wasn’t enough to rock my world — 7 Deadly s{K}ins just put out their September Group Gift! And she is rocking hawt! Just look at that face will ya! Feel like a sweet flower with La Petite Fleur’s gifts!

Heya Fabbies!

So, Love messaged me the other day and told me about a super cute little store called La Petite Fleur, and to my pleasant surprise, they had a ton of really great, really really cute gifts that are free for everyone! I’ve taken some shots of a few of the gifts, but the rest you’ll have to go and see for yourself!

To start off, we have the oh so flattering peplum top, which was a gift for the shop’s 5th anniversary! I’ve paired it (and the other items I grabbed) with a pair of basic skinny jeans, but I think this would look great with shorts, a skirt, or even over a swimsuit!

 

Next we have the Ruffle one dress, which comes in black (shown) and also in beige in the same pack!

Third, we have a fun super-oversized hoodie. The pack includes 2 versions of this: Gray with green text, and white with red text. These only come in one size, but I tried it on a wide variety of shapes and it seems to stretch just fine!

Walk Between The Raindrops

So, in my little corner of the world, we are definitely stuck in between seasons… There’s still a little snow on the ground, but it’s warm enough outside to go out without a winter coat.
