I have a quick post for today, which is to show the latest fishing outfit available at Sn@tch. This outfit has been around for a while and it’s still out to play. I’m not sure for how long though, so hurry! As with all the Sn@tch fishing outfits, you need to buy a 7 Seas fishing “casual rod” for 100L. It’s a one-time purchase and once you have it, you can fish at Sn@tch for life!

I was just talking to Kathryn the other day about the fishing prizes at Sn@tch and she commented on what an avid angler I’ve become. It really isn’t hard to get hooked (ha ha) on fishing for prizes as Sn@tch changes out its prize outfits on the regular and they never fail to contain a wide variety of clothing pieces so that you can play around with different looks. Not only that but accessories, makeup and footwear are often thrown into the mix that you can wear with other items in your inventory. The latest Fish 4 This outfit is called Through the Woods and generously contains;

If you have a mesh body or head never fear as you can catch the Omega applier for all the system and tattoo layer parts of the outfit from the prize filled waters. The mesh tops and fur coat come in both come in five standard mesh sizing (XS-XL) with an added fitmesh size for the fur coat and respective alpha layers to help with the fitting. Speaking of alpha layers, one is included for the ankle boots as well and you don’t need to have mesh fit to be able to slide these beauties on. Whew! That’s a ton of detail but I had a lot of fun figuring out the color combinations and there are already a few dresses that I have in mind that would go wonderfully with those boots. Fishing at Sn@tch is completely free but you do need to purchase a basic fishing rod for 100L to get in on the fun. Rods are available on the marketplace or at the Sn@tch store. It’s a great investment as you’ll get a lot of mileage on these outfits so to speak and since it’s Sn@tch, it’s top quality!
While I was there…
Alright, alright I’ll admit that fishing is not all I do when I’m at Sn@tch. If you’ve been to the store you can’t really fault me for that as there are a lot of great outfits lining the walls. What’s more that are lucky boards to stalk and riot vendors to keep your eyes on so I had great fun multitasking and packing my wardrobe with great clothes from Sn@tch. The gown pictured above is new on their riot vendors and something that I just had to share. I got it for 55L as the store was pretty packed that day and when I opened the package up, I was floored by the options. First of all, you’ll get this glittery and flowing floor length skirt in five standard mesh sizes (XS-XL). Secondly, the strappy and backless top comes in eight different colors and five standard mesh sizes as well (XS-XL). Thirdly, there are also two different alpha layers included in the package to play around with. The subtle dusting of glitter on the skirt and the rhinestones that line the neckline of the top add a glamorous air to the whole outfit. Not only do I intend to wear this for upcoming parties this Chrismas but it’s also given ideas on a new blog segment as well (hmmm). So you may have noticed that I’m wearing a different hairstyle in each picture. That’s because of Black Friday and the insane number of sales that are going on right now. The offers that I’m about to list down are time sensitive as they end today but there’s nothing like a bit of rushing to get that adrenaline pumping I’d like to say. In the top three pictures, I’m wearing hairstyles from Doe that is having a 50% off sale for all of its Gachas. Playing a Gacha from this store has always been a staple for me at Gacha events so I was over the moon excited. Doe always has the cutest hairstyles and their colors are always so vibrant.
In the bottom two pictures, I’m wearing hairstyles from Besom. The store is marking down its hair packs to 75L and I took the opportunity to fill up the gaps in my Besom hair collection. I’ve always been a fan of the wonderful texturing of Besom hairstyles and their styles have an urban flavor to it yet still look so elegant. Hurry down to both stores to take advantage of these great deals maybe we’ll bump into each other as I’m certainly making the trip back.

I can’t say enough how much I love the skins from this merchant and they always have such great perks for their group members. I managed to claim the Libra skin for myself. I’m been eyeing this skin set for so long that I was jumping for joy to see that my letter was up. Hello, dear readers and welcome to another Saturday Feature! While I’m not much for fishing when it comes to real world leisure time, I’ve since discovered that this activity in Second Life can be quite addictive. Interesting and free prizes always prove to be a great motivation and this is especially true at Sn@tch, an awesome store that regularly holds fishing events where you can try your luck with catching full outfits and more! When I saw the advert for the current round I just couldn’t resist in indulging that festive feel once more, even with Halloween a week or so behind us. Trusty fishing rod and a bucket of bait in hand, I headed on over to Sn@tch to see what the prize filled waters had in store for me.
The results are in!
As it turned out I was pretty lucky and at the time of writing this, I’m only missing one piece of the Spooky Mix and Match ensemble that’s being offered for this round of fishing at Sn@tch. That single pair of system tights continues to elude me and while I’m determined to lure them out, let’s get into the details of what I did catch.
To the left is a sweatshirt and leggings combo that I’m sure to be wearing around the grid as the days get chillier. While I’m only wearing one of the sweatshirt options (Pumpkin) there are six other cozy tops available with seasonally appropriate prints for your choosing. All sweaters come in five standard sizes (XS-L) and have their own alpha layer. As for those quirky Skeleton Leggings, they come in a set of seven different eye-popping colors. As stated above there are classic pants layers available for these leggings but if you’re using a mesh body never fear as there is an Omega applier hud waiting to be fished out as well.
Speaking of pieces of clothing to be fished out, the boots that I’m wearing on the left is available in the prize package as well. You needn’t mesh feet to fit into these stompers as they come in five standard sizes (XS-XL) with a shoe base and alpha layer. This strappy pair are just perfect for stomping in puddles.
And when you’re done with your rough and tumble, change it up with something more whimsical. The Spooky Mix and Match prize also comes with a sparkly crop top (five standard sizes XS-XL) and a spidery full-length skirt (four standard sizes S-XL). Both pieces of clothing include an alpha layer in their respective folders to help with the fitting. I adore this combination for it’s lovely and well-textured glitter, it provides just the right amount of shimmer and shine for this outfit to be worn on those glitzy SL nights.
While we’re on the topic of effortless glam the last outfit in the Spooky Mix and Match prize package is the Undead Bodycon dress. You’ll be able to choose from five different colors for this form fitting number and it comes in five standard sizes (XS-XL) with an alpha layer. I think I’ll never get tired of dressing up as a spooky skeleton girl with this dress on. So to recap, the Spooky Mix and Match fishing prize at Sn@tch contains twenty-four pieces which are one pair of boots, one full-length skirt, one crop top, five bodycon dresses, seven sweaters and seven leggings. A casual fishing rod costs 100L and can be purchased at Sn@tch or on Marketplace but its a great investiment as you can fish to your heart’s content.
Sprinkle in those little extras.
If you’re looking to expand your hair collection, GeMyles Couture is offering four mesh hairstyles in different colors for free on their Lucky Letter boards. You don’t need a group tag to participate and the letters change out fairly quickly. I managed to grab all three hairstyles in the picture above in under an hour or so but they are frankly, worth the wait. Coming in different lengths and styles, they prove to be the perfect quality topper (literally!) to any outfit.
You might also notice that I’m wearing a different pair of shoes for the picture on the right. These are a Halloween Gift that’s available at the ChicChica Mainstore for free (just find it at the base of the staircase) These shoes are made for the Slink High, Maitreya and Belleza mesh feet. I just can’t get over the beautiful bow and vivid orange and purple coloring.
It’s also worth a mention that the poses I’m using in the pictures are the Fabulously Free in SL group gift by One Creations. Since becoming a blogger I’ve realized I need a wide diversity of poses and am glad that to have discovered One Creations and their fluid poses. The days are getting shorter, and the air is getting cooler (allegedly, unless you live in a southern climate like me :P). It’s my favorite time of the year, cute and cozy sweater weather! Hello Fabulous Readers! Here’s hoping you are having a lovely, lazy weekend. Ripley and I are out doing what we do best…….Sunday! We did some shopping (of course!), then some wandering, and finally settled down in this cozy corner of the Bella Pace sim to curl up with a few of our favorite books.
Not only a bunny-fanatic and my constant companion, Ripley also has a nose for sniffing out Fabulous Finds. Today, he led me straight to Indyra where I discovered the newest group gift, this Kai Jacket and top in a mossy shade of green called “herb.” It perfectly matched my Triumph Eyes in Moor from IKON, and I knew I had to have it. Lucky for me, the Indyra Originals Fashionista Files group is free to join, so I had a new addition to my wardrobe, just like that!
A cheerful hello from Sheidey solved my next dilemma of what to pair my top with. She had been 7 Seas fishing and offered me an extra pair of Zef jean capris she had collected from the prize-filled waters at Sn@tch. There, you can fish for one of 20 random grab bags for free. I’m so lucky Sheidey is such an avid fisher-woman and shared her day’s catch with me! She inspired me to do some angling myself very soon. I heard she also came home with a cutely-goofy looking hammerhead shark, too,….but that’s a story for another day. The capris fit standard avatars and also come with an Omega applier for mesh bodies.
After adding a colorful Falling Leaves necklace from EarthStones and Caty wedges from KC Couture, I joined Ripley in the quest for a peaceful spot for some afternoon relaxation. Another couple of weeks have come and gone, and Sn@tch has once again changed their fishing outfit! I always always always go and fish for these because there’s so much versatility in the pieces that even if you don’t LOVE the outfit as a whole, which I almost always do anyway, the pieces work by themselves or even with other things! For those of you who aren’t sure how it works, to fish for the outfit, you must buy one of 7S’s fishing poles, but they can be found at most locations that offer fishing, sn@tch being one. It’s a one-time purchase, you can use the rod forever, and you even get free lifetime updates! Koy is owned by the person who makes poses for Ploom, Steve Cartier, who (I assume) wanted to try something new, and decided to open his own hair shop! While Koy only has 4 hairs out currently, they are all absolutely gorgeous, and fairly inexpensive to boot!
