Now that this song stuck in my head I have a few more gifts to share with you today! There are so many events with gifts and hunts around the grid this month. It’s always fun to put to an outfit together with the gifts from these happenings, So let’s get to the details, why don’t we.

When you head over to Swank and join the free group you can grab oodles of gifts. One of the gifts that really caught my eye once I unpacked it is the Agni outfit from Luxe Paris. The package contains an entire outfit as pictured above. It has a top, pants, sleeves, heels, tattoos and even hair! Ordinarily this hair style wouldn’t turn my head but it really completes the look. Lots of details went into this outfit. You get to show a little skin with the cute cat tattoos on the upper arms. I think it’s a super fun look.

Hello there, Fabulous Readers! In my last post {here}, I told you about a free dress that I picked up over at TRS Designs. While shopping, I couldn’t help but notice another free group gift, so I’m back to share the Felicia Dress with you today. This week, Ripley and I hit the trail of “The Best of You” hunt, and my talented pup led me on a direct line to Feyline Fashions, where we discovered the complete Zylindra outfit for only 1L. As soon as I tried it on, I immediately thought of a Middle-Earth Woodland theme for my photo.

This dollarbie hunt prize includes every item of clothing you see in my photo plus the weapons, and will leave you fully decked out and ready for role play. The deep green bodice features criss-crossed straps and decorative metal embellishments. Buckled leggings, a feathered, beaded headband, a skirted belt, shoulder armor, and a flowing cloak added to the elven warrior aura of the outfit. When I strapped on the dagger and donned the quiver and bow, I felt compelled to add a set of drow ears. The finished look was magical.

Happy Saturday, Fabulouses! After my last post {HERE}, Ripley and I returned to Brii Underground’s Surf Girl Hunt and did some more sleuthing. As a youngster, I loved collecting seashells, and this hunt revived childhood memories of trips to the shore with my family. Under my parents’ watchful eyes, I would traipse up and down the beach, plastic pail in hand, gathering my briny “treasures.”
A Casual Outfit You Will Treasure
After I pried open the clam shell from Brii Underground, I uncovered the Leidiane Beach Outfit, which was perfect for a day of beach combing. A pair of denim shorts and an island themed, cropped t-shirt, complete with palm trees, gulls, and crashing waves form the basis of the costume. To ward off the brisk ocean breezes, a dark blue, plaid over shirt completes the look. This is definitely the type of clothing I would choose for a weekend get away in real life – comfortable and carefree. Since I have a habit of wading out into the water to gather the perfect mollusk for my collection, I chose to slip on flip flops rather than the light blue platform sneakers which are part of the hunt gift. For only 1 little Linden dollar, you get a complete look packed inside that tiny shell!

Sadly, those precious days with my parents are now only in the past. Lost in memories and nostalgia as I listened to the crashing ocean waves, I was glad to have my loyal pupster by my side. The Enchantment Hunt drew me back again, as well as the chance to show off some fabulous goodies at two other stores. If your into cosplay or fantasy roleplay… this is your month to make away like a bandit — or mermaid as the case may be!
I recently checked out the FREEBall at Analog Dog and discovered it had been updated. There are a few new styles inside, including this great rigged mesh style called Lolly all for FREE. It comes in light reds with a color change hud and though you have to hunt for the nearly transparent bubble at the back of the sim, it’s well worth the search!
I also stopped by Oceane and played the in-store Gachas which had some really wonderful prizes for lovers of fantasy avatars! My Oceane Lauren Fantasy Skin in Blue was a 75L gacha prize and was just perfect for this underwater look — but don’t hesitate to check this one out even if blue is not your color, because the gacha had 19 total colors as possible prizes. It does not come with appliers, but don’t let that deter you. I usually have a difficult time matching skins without them, but was able to match this skin to my Slink hands within minutes because the shading near the wrists is made to blend so easily.
I also played the Oceane Fairytale Lips gacha and landed the Rainbow Rare hook line and sinker to add to my skin. Woot! It was only 50L per spin and added a nice touch to this fantasy skin.
And all mermaids have to eat, yes? If you peek at the picture below, my fun Swallow Yum Fishie (20 possible colors) was a 15L Gacha prize also from Oceane.
And the Enchantment hunt continues, but only until September 5th, so be sure to make your final rounds to pick up the fabulous gifts before you miss out. In this post, I’m showcasing a few more for you! These two poses are the FREEhunt gifts from [Black Tulip] called Ariel. While I am not one to complain about winter too much, being a true Canadian girl and enjoying winter, sometimes I do get tired of it. Thank goodness for SL! Whenever I get a touch of the winter blues, I log in, and find a pretty summery sim to visit. That is just what I did this morning 🙂 Best of all, it helped to show off a few goodies for you all!
It started with my earrings. When I logged in after work yesterday, one of the first notices I received was about a new group gift gacha for the really quirky and fun, Nathalie earrings, from Pure Poison! Naturally, I headed right over, threw on my group tag, and tried my luck. Lucky me, I got the rare Red Polka pair, but there are 7 different colours to win. The group is free to join, and all group members get 1 free play on the blue gacha machine. If you are not a member, or have already used up your one play and wanted a different colour, there is a green machine that you can play for L$50 a play.
The other free group gift I am showing off is this month’s women’s skin from 7 Deadly s{K}ins. I was originally going to show this off in a different post, but when I realized I was going to do a beach scene for this one, I knew this lovely, slightly sun-kissed skin would be perfect. In RL I don’t develop much of a tan, I guess that also shows me as a true Canadian, eh? LOL. So the January group gift from 7 Deadly s{K}ins was just perfect. This gift comes with SLink Hands and Feet, Banned, phatazz, and Tango appliers, and the skin comes in both a cleavage, and no-cleavage version. The group fee is only L$50 atm, however, it bounces all over the place, so if you haven’t joined yet, I would take advantage of this low fee before it’s raised up.
Lastly, a beach scene would not be complete without the perfect bathing suit. On a whim, I jumped into the Marketplace, searched for red, mesh, bikini, and on the very first page of results was this really cute dollarbie from Chipmunk Clothing, HERE! I’m not familiar with this store, but after having a look through the rest of their offerings, most items being L$100 or under, I am glad I’ve found it. My bikini is mesh, as I wanted, and it fits perfectly, I actually didn’t even need to use the alphas for my size, which is medium. For only L$1, it is well worth giving it a try for yourself.
OK lovelies, I think I am going to hang around this beach for a little while more, as I just realized it is snowing outside….and I like the sun and sand much better. LOL!! I will be back soon though. So, until then, TTFN 🙂

Monochrome Hunts is putting on The Silver Lining Hunt that runs from November 24th – December 9th. All items are themed in silver and are priced at 5L each. It is a quick 23 store hunt to complete with bang-up prizes.
