Today I am celebrating in style in this “lots of pink” look at one of my favorite locations for taking photos:  Luane’s Magical World. I thought it would be the perfect place for taking unique photos on this lovely sofa with poses from Gᴏi (goizane) of Fashiowl. Sorry, I’ve been MIA this past week, some RL things have been going on which pulled me away from the PC. However, this post is all about sweets ^^ I’m not a piece of cake but if I could be I would be a “death by chocolate” type. Layers and layers of sweet sugary sweetness that if you have too much of you could get ill. This FabFind totally is worth the deadly indulgence of your sweet tooth!!

My Hideaway

Today feels like a Monday for sure, but I assure you it’s not. I took a walk to my backyard and sat under the shade of my tent for a few hours hiding from life. No phone, no tablet, no net, no distractions at all to be found anywhere. The quiet time was much needed as I feel a vacation is soon in order. The daily pressures everyone faces and the social distancing is enough to make anyone curl in a ball and cry for a little. The key thing if this happens to you, is you need to reach out to someone and express your feelings. You are not alone, we have all been there at least once in our lives and know exactly the feeling you have. When a friend or loved one comes to me saying they’re feeling down, I make sure they know there are tons of people who care for them and I give them suggestions on how to combat these feelings.

Drawing, writing, singing, taking a walk, calling an old friend, calling a family member, looking at photos of happier times… there are so many options but my personal favorite to share is always this (and it’s a hard one to do) Get a piece of paper, write down ten affirmations about yourself. Put it in a book or tape it to the wall/fridge. When you walk by stop and read the list to yourself. You are loved. You are worth love. You have people who care about you. You are not alone. You will survive this too.  ❤

Feeling Down Right Girly!

Good evening lovelies! I think I have put together the girliest outfit I could imagine, complete with bows, flower prints, ruffles and lace. Would you believe, you can have all this girly-goodness for under L$40! Yes, really.

Let me start with my skirt, as I truly believe, especially from the backside, this is the star of my show…or should I say the bow of my show. *grins for a minute* My fabulous Gift Wrap skirt is from Promagic, and you can find this colour, and several others, on the Marketplace, for only L$10 each. It is mesh, comes in the standard sizes, and come on…just look at that bow! Love it.

Needing something as equally pretty for my top, I kept searching on the Marketplace and stumbled across The Sea Hole Outlet! Do you remember The Sea Hole store, I still have so many items from that store, and was bummed when it closed. Now, I don’t know if I had just missed seeing items from there on the Marketplace all these years, or if they were just more recently added, but you can find so many of those wonderful pre-mesh clothing pieces, and the prices are unbelievable! I picked up the Odette Bustier in the Rosey Real print, HERE, for only L$8. It is clothing layers only, sorry mesh body wearers, but for those of us still using system bodies, there is nothing wrong with a great quality, clothing layer item.

If you can’t tell, my inspiration for picking the specific colours I did for my skirt and top, came from these to-die-for shoes. Yup, they were the starting point for my whole outfit. My Lari heels are from a new-to-me store called BOOB-LiSH, and are actually a L$10 steal at The Dark Side event. They are meant for SLink high feet, and honestly, my picture does not do them justice, they are worth way more than the L$10 asked for. Let me warn you, I was late in heading over to this event, so you only have 1 day left to get over there, as this event ends tomorrow (Saturday, April 30th). It’s well worth the rushed trip though, as almost every store participating has a L$10 item out, and believe me, if there was more time, I’d show you a lot more.

I am managing to show off one other L$10 deal from The Dark Side. This time, it’s from *PB* Nails, and it is my Step Into The Light Mani and Pedi. I’ve included a shot of the ad to show off all the sweet colours you have to choose from for this SLink nail applier hud. They are perfect for Spring/Summer!

The one last item I wanted to point out, is my hair. If my hair in RL was just a touch longer, it could look just like the cute hair I have on here in SL. The Beusy June Gift is a complete fatpack of a rigged mesh hair, and you can find this on the Marketplace for only L$1. Seriously.

So, if you’ve been adding it up, my totally girly outfit is a grand total of L$39, and I think that is a heck of a deal. Even better, I did all the hard work of putting it together for you! LOL. Happy, happy Friday! Hooray for the week finally being over. I wanted, no, needed, to put together an outfit to go with the Womenstuff Hunt gift from G&D The Italian style store, that I had teasingly mentioned previously, HERE. Thanks to a gift being offered at the 5th Anniversary of Designer Circle, a pretty Marketplace find, and a few things from my inventory, I think I put together something you all will appreciate.

So, lets not beat around the bush eh, here are the shoes that started it all. These are the Cristy pumps in Pink Flower, from G&D The Italian Style. I love pink, and I really love the fabric on these. Do you now understand why I had to put together a look for these gorgeous pumps? Add to this that they are a free hunt gift for the Womenstuff hunt, you can’t lose. Once you find the iconic red t-shirt, you will receive 3 pairs of shoes sized for SLink High, Maitreya and TMP feet, along with a texture change hud for the metal studs and wooden heels. Here’s the hint, to help you out : “the information is important”.

Now, it is hard for anything to live up to my love for those shoes, however, while wandering around Designer Circle, which is currently celebrating their 5th Anniversary, I picked up a gift from MOoH! that ended up totally holding it’s own. My pretty, and super sexy halter top, called Scarlett, is a free gift for everyone. It is mesh, comes in the standard sizes, and has a texture change hud included with 8 fabric textures to choose from; 4 solid colours, and 4 flowery prints. I should have included a shot of the back, which is just as sexy as the front, but I didn’t think to until after I had all my pictures taken…doh! You’ll just have to head down to Designer Circle, before the 19th, when it ends, and pick this up for yourself! Many of the other stores participating in this round have gifts out. Stay tuned for a post from the oh-so lovely Pru, and another post from me, featuring a few more of the generous gift offerings.

Alright, my last addition to my outfit that I needed to show you, my eyelashes! Yes, I said eyelashes. IDK about you all, but I hate the SL system eyelashes, and keep them hidden at all times. While roaming around my old friend, the Marketplace, I stumbled across these great dollarbie, mesh lashes from BC Designs HERE, and I think they add just that perfect extra touch that is lacking with system lashes. They are not too over the top, but still easily glammed up if need be. You will need a little bit of prim editing skill if you want them to fit perfectly, but many of the buyers who reviewed them on their Marketplace listing said they lucked out and did not have to adjust much at all! However, they are copy, as well as mod, so make several copies before hand and you won’t have to worry if you mess them up. I love that.

So, that concludes my easy, breezy look. I sure hope it lived up to my hype. LOL. What can I say, I get a little crazy about shoes here in SL, and then the fun of putting together an outfit around them 🙂 OK, I am off again, already have plans for my next post. Hello and happy Thursday! I’m back with a few more Womenstuff Hunt gifts! Yayyy!

Let’s start with the Marketplace. My sexy dress is called Lanelle, and it is a dollarbie from Tee*fy. It is mesh, and comes in the standard sizes, as well as a fitted mesh version for the Maitreya Lara body. My other Marketplace find are my sweet heels. The Nix High Heels also only L$1, were put out as a special for Halloween, from Vowtte, and are still available. They are meant for SLink and Bellezza high feet, and you actually get 2 pairs, the black ones that I am showing off, and a purple pair as well. The texturing on them is amazing, and they are well worth that L$1! (Thanks for the tip on these amazing shoes Glimmer 🙂 )

OK, on to the group gifts. Have you been admiring my beautiful skin? Well, lucky for all of you, it is the most recent Toxxic Design Studio’s group gift from AlterEgo. The lovely Adriana in the rose skin tone, is free for group members, and even better, the group is free to join! You get 2 skins, one with red eyebrows, and the one I am wearing, a browless version. There is also a loudmouth applier, a shape, an eyelash remover, as well as a few brow shapes. Any other appliers you need, have been placed right in front of the sign for your convenience (I hate having to go exploring to find corresponding appliers!), they will need to be purchased for a small fee. The other group gift I am wearing, my pearl jewelry set, comes from Chop Zuey, and is a free gift for members of the Womenstuff group, available in the ‘stuff Lounge. If the To The Daisy set looks a little familiar, you may recall that Astrid had previously shown it to all of you HERE, when Chop Zuey had it out as one of their own group gifts. So if you missed grabbing it then, now’s your chance! You get right and left bracelets, earrings, a ring, and 3 different necklaces that you can wear individually, or stack them all together like I have done. The Womenstuff group has a small join fee of L$50, but as you should already know (from the numerous posts showing off gifts from this group) it is well worth it!

The last piece I want to tell you about, my hair,  may also seem a bit familiar, as Love first modeled it for you HERE as a free group gift.  However, the Sheena hair from LeLutka is now available, free for everyone, as a free wearable colour demo! This rigged mesh style, is a full colour hud pack to allow you to see all the different colours available for LeLutka hair. I really do love wearable demos, it’s a great excuse to put out a freebie, even better when it’s as pretty as this hair is.

I have to say, I am really loving this monochromatic look I’ve put together with all these great finds. Would you believe, other than the choice in hair colour, though even my normal black would have worked, I did not plan it like this at all. Sometimes it just works out perfectly this way 🙂 .
