Fa la la la la Flashdance!

I got out of my anti-Christmas funk (I can’t say no to cookies), and decided I needed to shake things up a bit.  And by shake things up, I meant I needed to literally shake myself by dancing around.  I channeled my inner flashdance and became a maniac in no time flat!

The Gold Standard

My “flashdance” of inspiration came when I had gone shopping to clear my head at The Avenue.  Happily, all the creators had put out free Christmassy gifts!  I picked up the pretty sparkly boxes one by one and found that one contained a free sexy golden suit by Deviant Behavior.  It comes in Fitmesh to fit most avatars.  Now…what could I pair it with to keep me warm?

Festive Legwarmers

Since I was going to be shaking what my momma gave me, I supposed that I’d be warm enough by just wearing some legwarmers.  It all made sense in my mind.  Thankfully, the people at La Gazza Ladra were thinking along the same lines as me and packaged up a sweet pair of free Christmas Legwarmers (they come in both red and green!).

After my outing with the so-called “Count” turned out to be a bit of a letdown (Read about it HERE), I got a bit Bah Humbug about all the partying going on around me.  It’s all tinsel this, and jingle that.  I again searched through my closet to find something suitably moody for my Grinchy mood, and of course nothing fit the bill.  Good thing Oubliette has me covered!

Hello Darkness

I ambled down to my favourite shop nestled in a graveyard, and much to my delight I found several new group gifts on the wall.  I picked up the Hamsa T-Neck top, and Muertos skirt which echoed my morose feelings quite well.  There were also these lovely Onyx Lennon Specs to block out the light of any too-cheerful holiday display.   Best of all, they were all free!  The Oubliette Group is free to join, so get yourself down to the graveyard!

Electric Circus

It felt like it was time to go clubbing.  I hadn’t gotten all gussied up to dance for ages, so I needed something new.  Luckily, Julia’s Scandal had me covered!

Hey Fab Free!

It’s always fun to get free makeup, because you get to try out some fun looks that you might not usually choose for yourself!  My recent visit to the Candy Fair brought me just such an opportunity, as I picked up a few fun little gifties! You can see the other gifts I picked up HERE.

Sugar-Sweet

My sparkly, sugary lipstick was a fun free gift from Pout! at the Candy Fair It comes in several different shades, and I think it looks quite fun for a night out with friends!  This lipstick comes with an applier for both Catwa and Lelutka.

Macaron Madness

Another little gift at the Candy Fair was the pretty nail polish applier from alaskametro.  I’ve only shown one of the options available, but there are a total of 15 different nail designs, all inspired by my fave french patisserie – the macaron!  This free gift comes with nail appliers for Maitreya and Slink, and there’s an Omega applier in there for good measure!  Here’s a close up of my nails for ya!

Jingle Those Bells!

Some might say it’s too early to start donning the Christmas gear, and usually I’d agree.  However, I just couldn’t wait to show you all this gorgeous group gift from Violent Seduction.

Winter Wonderland

Wearing the Astral Christmas dress that I found, I suddenly felt the urge to head to the North Pole.  Perhaps I was a bit foolhardy wearing such a skimpy dress to the frozen regions of the world, but the magical aura at the North Pole Village and Santa’s Workshop sim drove the cold from my mind.

The elves were merrily capering about, and the crystalline caves glittered before me.  Before I knew it, I was helping wrap gifts, and Santa himself was doing a practice run in his sleigh.

Lo and behold, the Christmas spirit had taken over, and I had to remind myself that it was still November.  Ahwell, I guess I’ll deck the halls anyway!

Candy is Dandy

It is the Candy Fair‘s 5th birthday, and I gotta tell you guys – it was sweeter than sweet!  Not only were there free gifts from almost every vendor, but the sim itself was festooned with sweet treats and bubblegum pink everything!  There were mazes, and tea parties, and giant cupcakes everywhere I turned.  Very scrumptious!

As you can see in my photo above, the sugar rush has taken over and I’m clearly thinking with my sweet tooth!  Do you think I’ve picked up enough lollipops? Doubt it…just a few more…

Epic Sweetness

This yummy looking bodysuit and matching donut ears are a delicious free gift from Epic at the Candy Fair, and I think I look pretty delectable in it.  I am now also craving donuts.  Interesting.  The bodysuit comes with an Omega Applier, and the headband is resizeable!

Going Blonde

I swapped my usually raven locks for a blonde updo, courtesy of Ayashi, who is always quite generous with their gifts.  I feel sweet as pie!  The hair comes in both rigged and unrigged, in this very wearable blonde hue, which is absolutely free at the Candy Fair!

Candy from Strangers

The mounds of packages at my feet from the Candy Fair piled up, and I needed a pick-me-up.  These free lollipops and pose from Ginger Fish were just what the doctor ordered!  How cute!
