Feeling Down Right Girly!

Good evening lovelies! I think I have put together the girliest outfit I could imagine, complete with bows, flower prints, ruffles and lace. Would you believe, you can have all this girly-goodness for under L$40! Yes, really.

Let me start with my skirt, as I truly believe, especially from the backside, this is the star of my show…or should I say the bow of my show. *grins for a minute* My fabulous Gift Wrap skirt is from Promagic, and you can find this colour, and several others, on the Marketplace, for only L$10 each. It is mesh, comes in the standard sizes, and come on…just look at that bow! Love it.

Needing something as equally pretty for my top, I kept searching on the Marketplace and stumbled across The Sea Hole Outlet! Do you remember The Sea Hole store, I still have so many items from that store, and was bummed when it closed. Now, I don’t know if I had just missed seeing items from there on the Marketplace all these years, or if they were just more recently added, but you can find so many of those wonderful pre-mesh clothing pieces, and the prices are unbelievable! I picked up the Odette Bustier in the Rosey Real print, HERE, for only L$8. It is clothing layers only, sorry mesh body wearers, but for those of us still using system bodies, there is nothing wrong with a great quality, clothing layer item.

If you can’t tell, my inspiration for picking the specific colours I did for my skirt and top, came from these to-die-for shoes. Yup, they were the starting point for my whole outfit. My Lari heels are from a new-to-me store called BOOB-LiSH, and are actually a L$10 steal at The Dark Side event. They are meant for SLink high feet, and honestly, my picture does not do them justice, they are worth way more than the L$10 asked for. Let me warn you, I was late in heading over to this event, so you only have 1 day left to get over there, as this event ends tomorrow (Saturday, April 30th). It’s well worth the rushed trip though, as almost every store participating has a L$10 item out, and believe me, if there was more time, I’d show you a lot more.

I am managing to show off one other L$10 deal from The Dark Side. This time, it’s from *PB* Nails, and it is my Step Into The Light Mani and Pedi. I’ve included a shot of the ad to show off all the sweet colours you have to choose from for this SLink nail applier hud. They are perfect for Spring/Summer!

The one last item I wanted to point out, is my hair. If my hair in RL was just a touch longer, it could look just like the cute hair I have on here in SL. The Beusy June Gift is a complete fatpack of a rigged mesh hair, and you can find this on the Marketplace for only L$1. Seriously.

So, if you’ve been adding it up, my totally girly outfit is a grand total of L$39, and I think that is a heck of a deal. Even better, I did all the hard work of putting it together for you! LOL. Fairy ring magic for this Fairey.

Happy late Monday (almost Tuesday) all you Fabulouses! I don’t do too many roleplay type posts, as some of my fellow bloggers have much more experience at this kind of stuff than I do, but I just had to show off this lovely free outfit, that made me whip out my staff and work a little magic in a fairy ring.

This whole outfit, from the skirt, to the corset to the bolero style jacket, is a free gift for everyone from GSpot, and you can find it @ Ribbon’s Crossing – The Witchery RPG sim.. The Cloey outfit, in brown and orange, is made up mostly of rigged mesh pieces that come in the standard sizes, The orange under shirt is on the t-shirt layer, and the little extra’s, like the headdress and the hip flowers, are scripted for size change on touch.  It’s on the wall, to the right of the staircase when you land, along with a few other free for everyone gifts, and some free group gifts if you join the Ribbon’s Crossing group. I think this lovely dress would fit into so many different types of roleplay situations, you are only limited by your imagination!

I had to do a close up of this amazing headdress! I really love the added touch of the matching design of the forehead/nose jewelry and the necklace. It all makes me feel quite magical.

Free Dove Has More Free Stuff!! Really!

Every month, Free Dove has been having mini hunts from some of the stores that regularly contribute to them. I picked up some great clothes from Cero Style, and what amounts to a fatpack of shoes from Baby Monkey, and thought I’d show some of it off.

Sunday Stretching with Flair

Told ya I’d be back soon!

When I logged in earlier today, I had a notecard from Flair, saying for a short 24hrs, they’d have their ballet slipper set of nail appliers as a free gift for everyone, in celebration of the new SLink pointe feet. I do not know when that 24hrs started from, but as of this post, they are still out, so I am guessing it is at least until midnight tonight, if not into tomorrow. The set is for SLink hands and feet only, and I think they are just adorable, no ballet experience necessary! I’ve included a picture of the ad itself so you get a really good look at the colour choices available.

Oh, and are you eyeing up my comfy pink leggings I have on? They are an older free for everyone gift from Flair that is still available. It was shown here on FabFree a few years ago (I did say older) but they are still just as good today. There are 3 colours, and come in system layers as well as include a SLink Physique hud, that will also work on just the feet.

I Like it Sweet and Spicy

Hello everyone, and happy happy Sunday! I know, It  seems like forever since I last posted, but hopefully, the gifts I am showing you all today will make up for that! Remember my last post about the Spring Fair hunt going on over at the German Land Holding Estate? Well, I’ve got 4 more gifts to show you all, and I think you will like them.

First, let me refresh your memory about this hunt. Head over to the German Land Holding Estate, and grab your free Easter egg basket from one of the many baskets placed around the Spring Fair. Add it to your arm, and start walking around and grab free eggs. It’s as easy as that.

My sweet and spicy look starts with this fairly flirty dress, which is the gift from {VEE}’s. The Maylie dress is mesh, and comes in standard fitmesh sizes, as well as Bellezza and SLink sized versions. It also comes with a texture change hud that gives you 3 lovely colours to choose from (I forgot to take pictures of the aqua and pale pink choices, DOH!!) Now, when I opened my gift, there were a few sizes missing for me, including my usually worn M, but once I contacted the designer, she very quickly sent me the missing sizes! Love great customer service. I’ve included a shot of the back, so you can see how pretty it is, I love the straps.

Sticking with the straps motif, and adding the spicy to my sweet and spicy look, are my spiky foot straps from Living Vintage Couture. They are rigged mesh, and while I am wearing them with my SLink high feet, they may be able to be worn with other mesh high feet, as they aren’t a super tight fit. See my pretty toenails? The gift from Perfect Seduction is a nail hud with these 2 lovely polish choices. You get a SLink hud, and an Omega hud, so almost everyone should be happy :). My last addition, brings me back to the sweet. The lily pearl earrings I have on are from DAMIANII, and I think they were the perfect final touch. Hard to believe all these goodies are free, with just a little hunting needed.

The Spring Fair, and corresponding hunt, run until the end of April, so if you didn’t head over there after my last post, you still have plenty of time to get your egg hunt on.

An Easter Portrait in Watercolour

Happy Saturday, and it’s a long weekend to boot! I can’t believe it’s already the Easter weekend. You know what Easter means, right? All sorts of hunts here in SL! I discovered a really easy, and fairly large, Easter egg hunt, after receiving a notice from one of the participating stores. The German Land Holding Estate is hosting a Spring Fair, with lots of participating vendors, and to coincide with the Spring Fair, there is also an Easter egg hunt happening in and around the stalls. There are 103 eggs to find, each with a gift from the different stores. All you need to do is grab your free egg basket, put it on, and then wander around the stalls, clicking on free Easter eggs. You do have to be within 10M of an egg to pick it up, so no camming, and once you have picked up an egg, you will not be able to pick it up again. I managed to find 97 out of the 103…and let me tell you, there is some good stuff in these eggs!

The first gift I’m showing off is the absolutely gorgeous dress from Sweet E’s. This is the Water Colour Kate gown, and I really can’t express how much I am in love with this. The colours, the watercolour-like flower print, the rouching on the corset! It has to be one of the prettiest dresses I’ve put on in SL, and really wish I had one in RL. LOL. It is mesh, and comes in 4 sizes ; one for Maitreya, one each for SLink and SLink Hourglass, and a single fitmesh that will fit standard sizes from XXS up to a M. I did try it with a L shape, and it did not work out well.

My colour coordinated bracelets are the gift you will get with you find the Luminesse egg. This gift is actually for both men and women, as the gold and magenta bracelet on my right wrist is the women’s gift, and the silver and blue band on my left arm is the men’s gift. The men’s bracelet will not shrink down enough for my M sized wrist, but I think it does make a lovely armband. I don’t normally mix metals with individual jewelry pieces, but I really did have to show you all how perfectly both worked with my dress. Like it was meant to be. You get both left and right versions of each bracelet, and they are scripted for size changing if needed.

The GLH Springfair Easter Egg hunt runs until the end of April, so you have plenty of time to go grab all the goodies. I already have plans of showing you a few more gifts in upcoming posts, so keep your eyes opened for them.

Fashion in the Woods, a Perfect Combination.

Hello weekend, I’m so glad you are here. I am also really glad all of you are here! Hi fabbies, are you as pleased that it is the weekend as I am? It’s been a long week, and what better way to take my mind off of it than having a little fashion show in the woods for you? All the best fashion is seen in the woods, I tell ya! *grins* That is the beauty of SL, no one bats an eye at wearing heels on what would be a soft, grassy path in the woods. So lets get right to it shall we.

Let me start off with this. RD Style is closing down. I know, it’s really sad, as happens with many an SL life, RL ends up having to come first. We as shoppers though, are going to benefit from this, as everything in store has been marked down, with outfits starting as low as L$25! Now, if you are familiar with RD Style, as you should be, since we here at FabFree have featured items from them many times, you already know that this is the place to go for complete outfits in one. While there is the odd separate pair of shoes, or dress, most every item is a complete outfit, including shoes. These range from super casual workout outfits, to fun day out shopping outfits, to downright sexy night out outfits. I picked out 3 that I really liked, and all of them are price reduced down to L$25. This sale is on until March 25th, and then everything will be gone, quite possibly for good.

Springtime Casual, and Free!!

Have you made it out to the 5th Anniversary of Designer Circle yet? Well why not? It ends on the 19th, and there are gifts to be had! Need more incentive? Well, as promised in a previous post, here are a few more gifts that you will find here.

Essenz has a quickie!!

Hello again! I’m just popping in for a super quick, time sensitive post.

See these lovely shoes I have on? Well, they were put out yesterday in the Essenz store in celebration of the Essenz Facebook page reaching 1500 likes! The Lancaster shoes are the newest release from Essenz, and as a thank you gift to everyone, Fatpack 3 is free. These lovely mesh heels are meant for SLink High and Maitreya feet, and come with a texture change hud where you have 3 shoe colour options, as well as 2 options for the heels, and 2 for the soles.
