Hey There, FabFree! This is gonna be a fast one cause we don’t have much time to grab this Hunt prize!
I almost skipped this outfit. I do like the items at Feyline Fashions but they are old school Second Life – Mesh and Prims. While this isn’t a deal breaker for me… sometimes folks expect the latest and Meshy-est. But I thought ‘what the heck?’ I have a ton of friends on the grid who still rock their old school non mesh system bodies so why not!
This is ‘Patchwork Mary” from Feyline Fashions and it’s the 3L Hunt prize for the Multicolor Hunt. And this is old school. The dress is rigged Mesh while the scarf and the sleeve “cuffs” are prims. But as you can see they are just beautifully made. I love the Boho patchwork skirt, it has such a happy hippy vibe! The outfit come with a backpack filled with a quill, parchment and some tasty apples for a snack. This is a great set for RP and it will be showing up for my character soon. There is a matching men’s outfit in the prize too.
The one drawback…. The Hunt ends on Sunday the 31st! So get out there this weekend!

Namaste Fellow Fab Free Flower Children, and welcome back to the blog! Spring is officially here and the dollarbie Boho Hunt prize at Fukin’ Cute had me feeling like a free-spirit so I grabbed my guy Blue once again for a groovy adventure. It was a lot of fun teaming up with him again to try and capture the feeling of such an iconic time period. His tie-dye shirt, and Pru’s long skirt and halter top are both part of the same hunt prize at Fukin’ Cute. I hope you enjoy this 1 linden Boho Hunt gift as much as we did.
His Tie-Dye Shirt – Nothing says “Free Spirit” more than tie dye if you ask me. This long-sleeve tee is the gift for the guys in the Boho Hunt prize at Fukin’ Cute. It comes in several mesh sizes, and includes an alpha layer making it suitable for classic avatars. To get your copy just look for the Boho Hunt object, a cute little llama, at Fukin’ Cute and purchase it for 1 linden.
Her Skirt & Halter Top – Something about the green and white mandala-like pattern on this outfit by Fukin’ Cute just feels like spring. The outfit is the female part of the 1L Boho Hunt gift at Fukin’ Cute. With this outfit you’ll get the skirt and top in several sizes. I like the idea of being able to wear the top and skirt separately. All you have to do is find the Boho Hunt llama and purchase it for 1 linden to get your copy.
Hello there, Fabulous Readers. Rip and I are popping in with a quick post featuring a fantastic outfit, which is perfect for role play. The entire ensemble, from cape to boots, is all included in the prize for The Red Hunt from Feyline Fashions, and it only cost 10L. The Red Hunt is in support of Team Diabetes of SL, an official and authorized team of the American Diabetes Association. All proceeds from the hunt go directly to Team Diabetes of SL. I have several family members in RL who suffer from diabetes, so I am happy to participate in this hunt and pay just 10L each for some fantastic prizes.
The Elven Way
Once I began wearing the different components of the Vashti Anduine outfit, I just knew I was going to wear some fantasy elf ears and head on over to The Shire for an extended visit. The prize package includes everything I’m wearing in my picture from the necklace and cape right down to the high heel boots. I love the pairing of deep red and dark blue along with the golden accents. A collared cape and belly jewel are also tucked inside the box, but I opted not to wear them. The generous designer included classic avatar versions as well as an Omega Applier, so there is something for everyone in this prize, and you get it all for just 10 Linden dollars.
What’s Included:
Omega Applier
Top
Sleeves
Body Veils
Cape and Collared Cape version
Collar
Belt
Chest Medallion

Back Down the Hunt Trail We Go
The pupster and I are off to see what other Fabulous Finds we can come across on the trail of The Red Hunt. We’ll be searching for the red and gray diabetes awareness ribbon. The hunt, which features red items, runs through right through Diabetes Awareness Month, so you have until November 30th to scoop up some fabulous goodies and support a great cause. Until next time, happy hunting!

After seeing Kat’s post [HERE], I got a yearning for my World of Warcraft days. The battles, the never-ending quests, trade chat …, the raid wipes… ok .. not so much of a yearning, but a fond remembrance. I too headed down to Feyline Fashions and found the male gift for the Into the Blue Hunt. The Reilly Dusk Outfit is put on with Omega Appliers (something I’m still learning… don’t ask about last weeks beard dilemma 😖) and also has some accessories to complement the look. This gift and all the other gifts on the Into the Blue Hunt are just $1L each. I don’t know why people would invest so much time in a game… seriously… 😉

Happy Friday, Fabulouses! This week, Ripley and I hit the trail of “The Best of You” hunt, and my talented pup led me on a direct line to Feyline Fashions, where we discovered the complete Zylindra outfit for only 1L. As soon as I tried it on, I immediately thought of a Middle-Earth Woodland theme for my photo.

When I strapped on the dagger and donned the quiver and bow, I felt compelled to add a set of drow ears. The finished look was magical.

I have to admit I’m a sucker for historical stuff in SL and I always try to check out historically themed hunts. The twelfth edition of the Medieval Fantasy Hunt (MFH XII) is running until the end of this month, and starts at the United Inshcon shop sim. You can follow the hunt either by getting the LM to the next hunt stop from the previous store’s gift or you can used the list of SLURLs at the MFH XII hunt blog. The blog also gives the hints for each stop in both English and German (with one stop just in German) which is an advantage when you come upon a stop where the hint giver isn’t set up. There were 52 stops in the MFH XII hunts when it started but 7 have dropped out, leaving 45 offering either a unisex or both a male and female prize. But despite the fact there are just 45 stops, many of the prizes are ingeniously hidden at a considerable distance from the landing spot and it will take you a bit of time if you want to do the entire hunt.
First off let me show you the Odhor black mesh warrior outfit gift from PeKaS (MFH XII #15). It’s mesh and includes alternative tunics with the hood up or with the hood down. This outfit also includes the shoulder cape and the back-carried shield. But the sword I’m wielding is the Viking Sword MFH XII gift from Dwar Barbosa Weapons (MFH XII #34). The gift includes a wearable sheathed version, and is scripted with drawing and sheathing animations as well as the standard fighting animations. The rightmost panel in the picture above shows an entire medieval Bryce woodsman outfit, which is the male gift at Feyline Fashions (MFH XII #28). In addition to all the clothing, the outfit includes the hat, boots, bow and arrow (unscripted), and thigh-carried hunting knife.
Moving on, I’ve changed outfits to show you the Mystical Fantasy male medieval outfit in blue from C&N Designs (MFH XII #27). The tunic and pants are mesh, and the outfit comes with the belt and boots. It’s an elegant outfit, so I’m wearing it as I relax on Her Majesty’s Wooden Bench, the gift from An Lema (MFH XII #25). This gift includes the animated mesh bench with all those pillows, the rug, two plant stands, and a table with decor items on it.
And finally, this next picture shows you the Korin knight’s outfit, the male MFH XII gift from The Seamstress (MFH XII #37). It doesn’t include the boots (those are the boots I showed you above), but it is a mighty fine looking outfit with a gold design on the red velvet and a gold neck chain. That pistol is the Pirate Pistol MFH gift from Designs by Isaura (MFH XII #12). The gift includes a “holstered” version which has the pistol held at the waist with a golden sash. The pistol does fire, but is not damage-enabled unless you stick your own scripts into it.
There’s a lot more good stuff out there on the Medieval Fantasy Hunt so I hope I’ve shown you enough that you’ll go out and find all that good stuff.
