I’ve been in an “Edgar-Allan-Poe”-type-melancholy-mood lately. It led me to visit an art sim called “The White Cliffs of Dover.” It’s a fairly simple sim. It really is just a set of barren cliffs with a couple of planes, a tea shop and grasslands. Somehow, though, it is incredibly beautiful in its simplicity. I find that when I am melancholy, I crave simplicity. It helps me keep life in perspective.
Since I was in a melancholy mood, I decided to try out the Quoth the Raven Hunt and see what I came up with (hurry, the hunt ends September 30th). I visited Lunaria and hunted down the creator’s prize which is an incredibly beautiful gown… which I would argue is Edgar Allan Poe inspired. Or at least certainly Raven inspired.
The gown Branwen, by Lunaira, is a seemingly simple formal navy blue gown will a full skirt, until you take a closer look. It has an add-on feather belt and the skirt itself is covered in both texture and add-on prim feathers for a stunning and beautiful look. The overall mesh flow of the dress is superb. Hunt down the raven icon and pay just 1L for this gem of a dress to add to your wardrobe.
