Happy Middle of the Week, Fabulous Readers! I’m looking forward to the upcoming three day weekend, and I sure hope you have some extra time off as well. Today, the pupster and I traveled to the Land of Rainbows, and sought out colorful Easter eggs, which are hidden throughout the sim. There are gifts for both men and women in this hunt, and they are all completely free!
Sweet Spring Mini
One of the eggs in the Land of Rainbows Easter Egg hunt contained this adorable Iris Dress, which is a free gift from Wicca’s Wardrobe. Featuring a high neckline secured with thin straps, a decorative waistband, and a dramatically low back, this pretty floral frock is perfect for the warm spring days to come. I love the added touch of the dangling straps down my back. Although there were no sizes for classic avatars, this fresh little number fit my Maitreya Lara mesh body perfectly. Best of all, when you locate the Easter egg from Wicca’s Wardrobe, you can add Iris to your spring wardrobe for free! The hunt runs until April 6th, so you still have plenty of time to hit the trail.

I stopped by Wasabi Pills after seeing they had some new hairs out, but ended up navigating toward their in-store Gacha section instead. I came across the Bianca Gacha and really loved the hair style. NSP florals and [MUSE] set out a great Women’s Stuff Hunt gift that had me thinking along the lines of fantasy and roleplay. It’s only 1L and a little hunting time for the iconic red T-shirt and you get the hair and jeweled hair piece pictured above. The two pieces are separate so you can wear the jeweled headpiece with any other hair that you have. As a bonus, there is an included hud to change the color of the jewels on the headpiece. The hair only comes in the one color and reminds me a bit of old fashioned wigs, but I liked it nonetheless. I thought it was fun!

Well Hello Fab Free! It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to be online, but I am very happy to be back and I sincerely hope everyone enjoyed any and all winter festivities they celebrated. That said, it’s time you ventured through We Love Role Play if you haven’t already. The current round of We ❤ RP is particularly special because there is a Christmas tree with FREE gifts piled under it. You will need to join the We ❤ RP group and wear the tag to get the gifts, however the group is FREE to join.
As far as I am concerned you’re never too old to play dress up, or to have a wild imagination. There were a few of the FREEWe ❤ RP gifts specifically that called out to me. I just had to wear the armor from Belle Epoque, and the headpiece from Wicca’s Wardrobe. Perhaps the fact that I’ve recently started watching “The 100” again on Netflix had some influence as well. As for the elf ears, I just like how they look, I feel like a determined warrior elf: beautiful and strong.

The textures of the Amara Headpiece are beautiful, and the face chains fit easily over my mesh head without any adjusting. You can size this mesh accessory with the built in resize scripts. Belle Epoque Gift at We ❤ RP
The armor Pru is wearing as her warrior elf self is the FREE gift from Belle Epoque at We ❤ RP. This armor is beautifully done and moves well with the Maitreya Lara body. The Callie Armor is fully mesh and meant to be born with the Maitreya Lara body. Also, it comes in a gold version as well as the silver version shown.
House of Ruby has out a new line of T-shirts for men and they are real heartbreakers in the making… you can get one in the color blue for the promo price of just 56L off the Marketplace. The shirt comes in system layers as well as Slink and Omega Appliers for mesh bodies.
I did some checking around and paired the colorful T-shirt with facepaint which I found as a past group gift at Zibska. In fact there is an entire wall out of past group gifts that include make up, jewelry, and more. The group is 200L to join, but it’s a one time fee, and after joining, you’ll be able to fill your inventory with lots of boxes to open. The Marsh face paint comes in a full fatpack of 7 colors and you’ll get system layers as well as and Omega applier for mesh heads.
I tossed on an oldie but goodie to finish off the look… Wicca’s Wardrobe is another group that leaves out their past group gifts for customers to enjoy. I’ve blogged these Ares pants before but it’s worth mentioning that for your 50L join fee at Wicca’s Wardrobe you’ll gain access to many past group gifts for both men and women… like these excellent quality pants.

Sometimes we need to recharge… take a moment to close our eyes and dream. I found the perfect sim for it if you like art and books. You might want to stop by the Arts and Literary Salon where there is book discussions and art displays for you to enjoy.
I took the chance to put together a dreamy summer look while I enjoyed one of the blankets under a charming little tree I found. My look is courtesy of Wicca’s Wardrobe this morning.
First, I picked up the 1L Women’s Stuff Hunt gift that Wicca’s Wardrobe is generously contributing to this hunt as a prize. It is this lovely strawberry dress in all the standard sizes as well as fitmesh, Freya, Isis, Venus, Maitreya, Hourglass, Physique, and TMP. The box also includes two texture patterns of the dress, so you get not only the dress I am showing, but one additional pattern. And only 1L for all of this strawberry goodness!
I was pleased to discover that the August group gift at Wicca’s Wardrobe was a sexy pair of boots that matched the dress quite nicely. These over the knee dragon boots come in standard mesh as well as slink fits. To get them to fit my Maitreya body, I simply removed my feet. They are highly detailed, and there is a male version of the boots out for group members as well. If you are not already a member, the group fee is 50L, but you get access to many past group gifts as well as these fantastic boots, making it well worth your join fee.

The Runway Perfect Hunt is proving perfect for filling out wardrobes… both for the gals and the guys. Which is always welcome. I stopped by Wicca’s Wardrobe this morning while making my way through some of the hunt stops, and picked up this pair of Ares pants, which is the creator’s contribution to the hunt. The jeans have a biker/metal/rock feel with the black and leather and the chains in the back which had me searching for a rock venue to take my photo for you. They come in all the standard mesh sizes, and like all Wicca’s Wardrobe items, are of an excellent quality. They are well worth 5L and then some.
I paired my new pants with the latest group gift for men at Chop Zuey. These FREE group gift bracelets called A Shot in the Dark offer 2 metal choices (silver or brass) and 4 leather choices (black, brown, yellow, and blue). The Chop Zuey group does have a one time fee of 350L, but the creator is generous with regular group gifts for loyal members (for both men and women), making this fee worth it in the long run.
