I’ve really become a fan of going to surfing sims and riding the waves. It’s fun and, believe it or not, relaxing to hear the waves and ride over some of these mondo waves. Today I’m boarding at San Blas Beach where the waves are high and the current is swift. I stopped by ::Mr.Poet:: and upstairs near the lucky boards was a rack of FREE gifts, no group needed. I picked up the Summer Tank Top that comes in three different prints. I’m also wearing the green Swimsuit I found at NEWCLOVER when they were having their new store celebration. but when I went back to check, it was no longer free. 😦 And what would a surfing post of mine be without a pose from Le Poppycock? (I said I played several rounds on the gacha) Today’s pose is called “Get Wet” from the Surf’s Up series. The pose comes with a texture changing surfboard in several colors. Each play of the gacha is just 50L. I’m going to paddle out to catch another wave.

…to my surfboard. The waves are gnarly today, the water is choppy and the surf is rough…. just the way I like it! It is been a long hard week for the both of us, either finishing jobs or beginning new ones. Back in the day, when malls were a thing and we all wanted out lives to be straight out of 16 Candles or Fast Times at Ridgemont High, my weekends were spent cruising up and down the strip, honking and waving at the same cars over and over. My look today is thanks in part to Prudence, who did a wonderful job on her Designer Friday post on Faboo, that you can read [HERE]. She mentioned there were group gifts for men, so I popped over to see what was available. With several gifts on the board to choose from, I decided to grab them all and see what would look good together. Gacha every time…
I normally stay away from gacha machines. My one exception to that rule is when it comes to poses. I recently saw the *Surf’s Up* pose gacha at Le Poppycock and decided if I needed a surfboard pose, I’d be back…. long story short, I went back, and played… several rounds… The Catch a Few pose is just one of the few many poses I picked up for just 50L a pull. The surfboard has a color change HUD to give your board multiple looks. I’m sure I’ll be showing you many more of this set before the days of summer have passed…
