Hot Kitty Summer

I’m channeling the excitement of having a new pet today, mostly because… I DO!  Look at this little tiny muffin I’ve got curled up beside me.  I have been taking about 80 million pics and my Instagram is now awash with cat pics.  I guess that’s who I am now!

Sweet Kitty

SL20B has been a blast this year, and there’s probably no way you can really explore and pick up all the gifts and experience it all.  You’ve got a few more days to do so, but I got a little poke to check out the KittyCats display at the Game of SLife area.  There, I read all about the owner of KittyCats‘ experiences, and at the end of the board, I was rewarded by clicking on the cakes with this tiny little cat, who will grow into a sweet princess.  Now, I’m brand new to the whole KittyCats thing, so make sure you do some research (they need to be fed) if you don’t want a suffering little virtual cat, but there is also two weeks worth of food included in this gift, as well as the pink cat bed you see beside me.  All the info is included with this free gift, so do some reading, and settle into the joys of virtual pet parenthood!  Don’t wait, SL20B is wrapping up on the 11th.  And oh yeah, there are also some commemorative SL20B KittyCats HERE and plenty of other hidden surprises at both spots.   You can get all the deets on KittyCats ownership at their website.

Woohoo! Another weekend is here. A friend dragged me to this sunny place with promises of a picnic and a cool lake for swimming. Are we lost?? We’ve been walking for what seems like forever. I forgot my compass so I’m trying to get a fix on the sun to figure out something to get us out of here.

Apparently they do! Kittycats has teamed up with The Free Dove for the August Caring Hands Hunt. If you’re a cat lover you probably already know about the Kittycats store. For this hunt there are ten specially designed “Swimmer Cats Shoulder Pets”. I’ve included the hunt gift list below.

These are not your regular shoulder pets. Instead each cat is equipped with mask and snorkel as well as swim fins. Each cat is chasing a sea critter as it swims around you. Completely adorable!! You get a male and a female of each coat.

Cats have the right idea, nap all the time, eat, play, occasionally adventuring outdoors…. WAIT! That’s legit what we have all been doing for the last two months or more! Some of you may know of the breedable pet shop KittyCatS! and how they often give out FREE Cats around holidays. KittyCats and Silence at SL16B

There is just about a day and a half left of Second Life’s Sweet Sixteen Birthday Celebration. With that in mind I thought I’d share with you a pair of the cutest KittyCats. Why? They’re the free SL16B birthday gift by KittyCats of course! These adorable fur babies are fully functioning versions of the KittyCats pets that can breed in exclusive SL16B style. There’s a male and a female cat included with the gift, along with some food to get you started. Please note that these cats, unlike the others, are no transfer. If you’re not familiar with KittyCats and how they work, I’d suggest checking out the KittyCats in-world store for all the latest information. There are actually quite a few spots you can pick these adorable little guys up for free. I’ll add in those links below. I’m sure you noticed the retro fabric behind the kitties in the top photo. It belongs to this smashing pink sofa by Silence. The “Atomic” sofa is another free SL16B gift. T – 2 Days

Hey FabFree! As you can see my puppy made it home safe and sound after his walkabout to Serena’s and then his untimely abduction by Carson.  He’s exhausted poor thing, not even enough energy to play with his favourite ball, but I made him pose for the photo so you could see he was returned safely!  I’m sure once he wakes up, he’ll be ready for another adventure.  Who knows where he will wind up this afternoon!

Running Out of Advent Time!

It’s the Truth, I tell you!

My hairstyle today is courtesy of Truth who put their Irena and Irenka hairstyles under the holiday Pompom hats and sent them out to the inworld Truth group.  This is similar to the previous hair gift that Sheidey has been showing off in her posts [HERE], and [HERE], but with a holiday pom pom hat ;).  A full selection of colour huds for hair and texture change for the hat is included.

Also in Truth  group notices right now, you’ll find the Bangs Collection which is a great way to add a little versatility to any of your Truth hair!  I am wearing the Swept Right Narrow bangs with my Irenka hair today and it really changed up the look.  There are several different types of bangs (or fringe as some of you around the world call it) and as like the PomPom Hat gift, there is a full selection of colour huds!  I can’t wait to try it with the other kajillion Truth hairstyles I have been collecting.  It will be like new hair all over again!  There is a fee of 350L to join currently, but it’s worth it!

Today was the first snow of the year and it HAD to happen on the weekend. Just my luck! I decided to make snowmen out of lemonade snow. I put on the Gray Desert Sweater and Cargo Pants I happened to find at B&T Mesh Studio while making my way through the Peace on Earth Hunt. As always all the gifts on this hunt are FREE.

Balancing Act

Sunday Stretching with Flair

Told ya I’d be back soon!

When I logged in earlier today, I had a notecard from Flair, saying for a short 24hrs, they’d have their ballet slipper set of nail appliers as a free gift for everyone, in celebration of the new SLink pointe feet. I do not know when that 24hrs started from, but as of this post, they are still out, so I am guessing it is at least until midnight tonight, if not into tomorrow. The set is for SLink hands and feet only, and I think they are just adorable, no ballet experience necessary! I’ve included a picture of the ad itself so you get a really good look at the colour choices available.

Oh, and are you eyeing up my comfy pink leggings I have on? They are an older free for everyone gift from Flair that is still available. It was shown here on FabFree a few years ago (I did say older) but they are still just as good today. Cats, Books and Clothes!

Hello FabFree Folks! I hope your weekend is treating you well.

Can you ever have too many books… or cats… or fabulous clothes? No. The answer is a resounding no. And when you can get even more fabulous clothes at an equally fabulous price… well that makes it all the better. The Precious Designs Cart at the Wash Cart Sale doesn’t have the books or the cats… but they do have fabulous clothes and that fabulous 10L price! I’m wearing the “It started with Hello” jumper and matching shoes as I try to do a little early spring cleaning. Both the jumper and the heels for SLink High Feet come with a HUD for five matching stripy colors. I love the little zipper details on the shoes. It really sets them apart from plain pumps.

If you recall, in my last post I showed you the latest Group Gift from no.match and I mentioned it had a ‘lower’ attachment for a longer style. This is “no.worries” with that lower hair attachment full of loose smexy waves. Both of the pieces for this style are resizable with the HUD (which also has ALL the colors) and adjustable for a perfect fit.

I’m Off Your Rocker and in a cozy sweater.

While the holiday season is quickly coming to an end, there are still gifts out there for you to go and grab, that are not themed to a specific holiday, so you can still get away with wearing them. Another thing that will be coming to an end, but maybe not as quickly, is the Wash Cart Sale. My outfit today is a fine example of a holiday gift you can still grab, and a great staple every gal needs in her wardrobe, from the Cart Sale.

First off, is my sweet, cozy sweater. It is a free for everyone gift from Neve, which used to be coldLogic. This mesh sweater comes in all the standard sizes, as well as sizes for Physique, Isis, and Lara bodies. You also get a hud that has a few different options on it. The main part of the sweater comes in 4 colours, I’ve added a picture below to show you them, as well, you can choose the colour of the under shirt that is peeking out from the waist, and at the sleeves. Or, if you’d like, you can turn the undershirt off completely. So many options! I’m really not sure how long this gift will stick around, so if I were you, I would not wait to go grab it. Just buy it for L$0 and you are set!

Now, the item I mentioned, that should be a staple in every gals (and even some guys) wardrobes, a great pair of neutral toned skinnies! My lovely grey skinny pants are courtesy of the Off Your Rocker Cart at the Wash Cart Sale. Of course, these mesh pants comes in the standard sizes, and for only L$10…what a steal. The texturing is superb, with little wrinkly details, and the cutest little zippers at the ankles. I am going to get a lot of wear out of these babies, that’s for sure. If you also are in the market for a black pair, they have them too!  You only have until Jan 6th, so if you are one of the few who has not already made it to the Cart Sale…what are you waiting for? LOL.

Alrighty, as if you couldn’t tell from my pictures, while I was working on this post, my cats and I were being a bit lazy, and honestly…I’m going to just go back to being lazy with them.
