If you nip over to Nova tonight, you’ll find there are two new free group gifts – one of which is this brand new hairstyle I’ve got on called Synapse.  It comes in versions for wearing a hat (like the one I placed on! )  and a plain version too.  It makes sizing hats much much easier – no hair poke through!  You can get yours by joining the Nova group for free, then clicking on the two new hairstyles on the left of the group gift board – though you’ll find a whole bunch of other gifts while you’re there too.  Yay!

Coining New Terms

Let’s See Fireworks

Second Life is not really a game, now is it?  I mean… it’s a whole universe packed into your computer.  Yes, I know that’s not what it really is, but sometimes I get a little blown away by how our community can rally together for a cause.  The flooding in Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil has been quite devastating, and if you’d like to help out, while also getting some fun fashion… then read on!

I can never decide exactly who I am on a regular basis.  I think blogging has turned me into a hodgepodge of styles and personalities.  Not that I’m exactly complaining about it, I like showing off all my sides.  From the dark side all the way to this girly, frilly iteration of me.  We’re all a bit of everything, so why not show it off?

You may have heard the news, FabFree… or perhaps you haven’t, but looks like SL Mainstay Blueberry is shutting down.  The gasp heard ’round the grid was audible, and I thought that perhaps I’d revisit a few of the group gifts that are still available before everything disappears!  Sniffle… I hate to see our faves move on, but we wish BB all the best in the future.

Blueberry has been around the grid for over a decade, and they have a wall of fun gifts for their group members.  As always, with Blueberry products they’re top notch and so pretty.  I chose three to show you tonight, though there are others there too!  We’re not exactly sure when the store is going to be gone, but the owner’s profile says “mainstore, redelivery and MP will remain active for a while”.  While you’re there, do check your store credit, because a good friend of mine thought she had zero, and ended up having over 700L to spend.  There are panels you can click at the back of the entrance area to check your store credit.  Anywhos, all three outfits I’ve decided to show off tonight come in a full fatpack of colours, with plenty of cute patterns thrown in for fun too.  The group is just 20L to join, so super totally entirely worth it, even if you’re just there for a goodbye.
