There’s yet another new group gift at COCO! I love me some COCO, because not only can you get a whole new wardrobe for freewhen you visit, but the items are always well-crafted and I find them to be very real world. I love the madness of SL and how we can have fantasy wardrobes coming out the wazoo, but I know that some people prefer to have staid and sensible clothes (hey, I have my moments too…) and COCO is a great stop for a wardrobe of staples. Hello there, Fabulous Readers, and Happy Monday! I had a long, long day, and sure am happy to be on the tail end of the first day of the work week. I’m popping in with a quick post featuring fantastic free hair for the guys (actually, ladies you could wear this one, too!).
No, Really, I’m Just a Cowboy at Heart
There’s nothing like a cowboy hat to shield you from the elements, and deck you out in a rugged style. My No Really hat and hair combination is a free gift over at No Match, exclusively for members of the L’Homme Magazine SL Readers Group, which is completely free to join. The package includes an accessory HUD packed with 12 options for the hat as well as an Ombre tones HUD loaded with 12 varieties for the hair color. I’m not sure how long this free offering will be available, so if you’d like to pick up a copy for yourself, I’d recommend saddling up, and heading over to the shop soon.

A black widow… in several sizes
Isn’t this Black Widow chair adorable?! And it’s perfect for Halloween! Or any Gothic theme! Better yet it was only 1L as part of the Bump in the Night Hunt and once you find the crow at Little to Large (or you can pay 25L at the sign if you don’t want to hunt) you get several size chairs as a bonus! You’ll get the chair for full size avatars as shown, petite avatars and tinies as well! How cool is that!

KoKoLoReS has their October group gift hair out and it is a pretty and chic stylish short do. Growing up, one of my favorite classes in high school was French, and I had an amazing French teacher who was French-born. We would celebrate Bastille Day on July 14th, and my French teacher was always great about recognizing both the 4th of July as well as Bastille day, and we would have celebrations for both as she would teach us the importance of both holidays and how they were similar and how they were different. I admired her a lot.
I thought of her today as I stopped on my gift rounds and put together my outfit. I thought of her as I thought about the importance of fighting for human rights, freedom, and things we believe in. She was an inspiration to me. So this post is for her… my le 4 Juillet!

I have a potted garden in real life that I tend, and I sit outside surrounded by the flowers and herbs almost every evening as the sun sets. When I passed the NSP Florals Cart at the Cart Wash, I was taken in by the dresses… particularly the blue flowered smock that I have chosen to show off. I made a couple stops along the trail of the Frosting Hunt and found a couple of gems to share with you. My first stop was Prism, where I picked up my outfit. It includes this excellent pair of suede pants and the lovely off the shoulder pink sweater. Each piece is separate and comes in all the standard mesh sizes with a good alpha layer. For just 1L and a little hunting time to find the snowflake, this gem of an outfit can be yours.

I also stopped by Kitty Creations because I was in need of a furniture pick-me-up. The Frosting Hunt prize there is this lovely braided rug as well as this nicely patterned black ottoman which includes quite a few very nice unisex sits. The rug is copiable, but the ottoman is no copy. However for only 1L, if you want more than one of this gorgeous ottoman, it won’t break the bank to hunt down the snowflake and buy more than one copy of this Frosting Hunt prize at Kitty Creations.
