The FabFree Annual Free(ish) Hair Roundup – Part 1

Yay!  FabFree!  IT’S TIME!

Time for what, you ask?  Well… it’s time for our annual Free(ish) hair round up!  If you’ve not seen one of our hair posts before, strap in and get yourself a beverage because we pulled out all the stops this year to bring you NOT JUST ONE, but two posts of free, group gift, and dollarbie hair that you can get right now.  This year we’ve got over 200 hairstyles in this post alone, with just as many (if not more) coming tomorrow.  Yeah.  I know.  It’s a doozy.

Changing of the Seasons

Hey FabFree! I can’t believe spring is already over and summer is here… it’s time to move out of these spring clothes and get ready for summer fun! I am soooo pumped for July – you don’t even know how much. The FabFree@15 Event is coming on July 8th, and part of the reason I’ve been posting so much in the last week is to I can prepare to blog our first event! I’m so excited for this summer! So, now I’m back with new post, and this time it’s to show a free hairstyle and some free makeup to keep you going until the event starts. 😉

Back to Hair Fair

It’s time to show more free hair from the Hair Fair! I am wearing the free gift from Ade today. The “Lia” hairstyle includes a style-changing hud, different sizes to accommodate different head sizes, and several colour huds. It’s very cute. 💕You can read more details about the Hair Fair event in my post here.

Lots of New Gifts @ Pout!

The makeup items I am wearing today are all products from Pout! that I recently found out are free.

• First off, Pout! has some cute new group gifts. I am wearing one of them right now, which is a set of BOM eyeliners in 4 different styles made exclusively for Lelutka EvoX heads. Their group is currently free to join, and there’s a load of past group gifts to pick up as well!
• Pout! also have some new free gifts on their freebies wall. These require no group join at all. Just buy them for 0L and they are yours. From that lot, I am wearing a new pair of eyeshadows, which are also BOM layers made exclusively for Lelutka EvoX. These come in a bunch of colour options. Both gifts are striking!

Here’s a fun BOM tip! Make sure that you apply the eyeliners after the eyeshadow. You always want to “layer” your BOM layers on top of each other. You can also re-arrange them by “editing” your outfit and moving them up in the order you want them to appear on your avatar.

Memento Mori

Happy Friday, Fabbies!  I’m heading back to my roots of dark, gothy vibes.  I’ve often ruminated on the fact that I started off my SL as Ms. Dark Cloud, swathing myself in black.  It always makes me giggle a bit, since really – that is the antithesis of who I am.  I’m the one who bursts into giggles at the mere mention of sausage (don’t ask), or tosses glitter about with wild abandon.  Anyway, it just goes to show – you really can be exactly who you feel like being at any given time in Second Life.  And I think that’s pretty great.

I put this look together with a few awesome freebies I picked up at SL19B.  Now, we’ll be covering the event fairly extensively, as I know that not everyone is going to go to every single booth and pick up every gift and…gasp…unpack them.  So, in the hopes you’ll see something you like, we’ll do a general smattering of lovely free gifts, and give you ideas of just what you can do with them.  So…here’s my look:

A New Hip Hairstyle

Hey FabFree! I have a quick little post for today with some news of a great new freebie.

Lalisa

My hairstyle is the latest free group gift at Ade. The style includes a fatpack of colours, a style hud, and a hip hat that says “Lalisa”. I’m not entirely sure what that means; just go with it. It’s cool! This hairstyle will fit female avatars with small and large chest options. Ade has several free group gifts- just head up the stairs to grab them all.
