Down in the depths of the ocean! Or perhaps just under the water at Mermaid Cove, that’s where I found this fun mermaid gacha by NYNE that I am excited to share with you. I also picked up a free group gift by Sweet Thing, and a free gift by Shiny Stuffs while swimming through the underwater shopping at Mermaid Cove.
NYNE Miss Mermaid Gacha
Mermaid Cove is definitely a cool shopping event, well worth the visit just to see all the fanciful underwater scenery. For this mermaid themed event NYNE put out a colorful mermaid themed gacha that is just 69 linden per pull. **Please be sure that if you play this gacha you play for the size/fit you want.** I played the Slink Hourglass option so my mermaid tail and starfish would fit my Slink Hourglass body. The rare tale comes with mermaid animations that seemed to work when walking, but better when flying. I’ll include a gacha key for this Mermaid Cove gacha by NYNE below.
Sweet Thing put out a cute shell necklace at Mermaid Cove that is free to all Sweet Thing group members. The Sweet Thing group is also free to join at this time. The necklace includes a color change hud with a few preset colors for the ribbon and some for the shell also. It’s the perfect mermaid accessory! I saw that Love was fishing for silver and got silver envy. In her post here she showed you one of the great gifts you can currently get from Sn@tch if you go 7 Seas fishing with your fishing pole for the New Years Grab Bag (hurry you still have a little bit of time, but not much). And it got me hankering for some silver of my own!

For just 1L and a little hunting time, these flats are the silver lining you’ve been waiting for!

Finesmith is no longer in-world, sadly. But you can still get many of the beautiful creations on the marketplace. I was doing some marketplace hunting and came across a lovely necklace for just 10L that I couldn’t pass up. This Vision necklace pictured above is by Finesmith jewelry and with its beautiful details and shine (but not bling) is a wonderful final touch to any outfit – casual or formal. It’s well worth the 10L.

Hello Again Fab Free’rs! I’m happy to be here sharing the freebie love with you! Today’s post features my favorite type of shirt, sweaters/sweatshirts, and my favorite style of necklace, a choker. It’s not often that the two items look well together, but I think it made it work! I hope you like them.
For me one of the best things about fall is it’s generally the beginning of sweater weather. Unfortunately that hasn’t been the case for me this year in real life, it’s still a tad too warm for sweaters. Thankfully I get to retreat to Second Life and enjoy the sweaters anyway. Hello Fabulous Readers! Today it was time for Ripley’s annual visit to the V-E-T. He was due for his rabies shot and a few other nasty pokes, so on the way home, it was time for some shopping therapy. Aren’t I a lucky girl to have a pooch who loves bargain-hunting as much as I do? After the promise of “Ripley-snacks,” my hound with a nose for fashion quickly tracked down two Fabulous Finds that we’re “bubbling” with excitement to share with you. Ripley didn’t have to search far…these goodies include two gifts for Fab Free Group members.

For our first Fabulous Find, I slipped on the free, sleek Karmyn dress from #Bubbles. With two curve-hugging silky mauve sides connected by a creamy, lacy panel, what’s not to love about this dress? Its soft colors are sure to flatter any avatar. A quick jaunt over to the Free Dove yielded my accessories which are a free gift set from Chop Zuey. The purpley-pink tone of the center gem stone surrounded by gleaming diamonds perfectly echoed the color scheme of my dress. With an application of subtle matte lipstick from Birth, Nefertiti eyeliner from Euphoric and Star Bliss nail polish from Livia (only 10L on The Marketplace – score team Ripley!), I’m all glamm’d up and ready to go!
Of course, after a morning at the animal hospital and bargain hunting, Ripley was ready for some well-deserved R and R at the lovely “A Painter’s Link” sim. He brown-bagged his Ripley-snacks and I brought along a picnic lunch to enjoy underneath a shady maple tree. For this outing, I needed a more casual outfit, so I combined Candys Capris from Cartiera Designs with two of our other finds of the day: the strappy, pink spiked shoes from Living Vintage Couture (another Free Fab Free Group Gift) and SG Apparel’s Rhapsody Gypsy top. The fun, unusual shoes left my fresh French manicure from By Snow (0L on The Marketplace) free to sparkle in the dappled sunshine. My pink crop top coordinated perfectly with my shoes, but if pink is not your color, the top comes with a color-change HUD with several other options. This top is a featured item in this week’s Fifty5 Thursdays sales line up. The sale runs through Sunday, but some designers keep up the sale items up for an entire week. All in all, these separates combined to create a fun, playful outfit for our afternoon leisure time.
