There’s a really cool event on right now called Alpha. It’s organized by the same folks that run the Access event. They are having their first year anniversary, which means lots of gifts. Most of the gifts are for men, but they also have some unisex items. I always do Mens’ events when they have free gifts on offer because I find nifty little things for women and lots of decor at these types of events. The anniversary round of the Alpha Event ends on March 17th. You need to join the free Access Updates group to get all the gifts here. Please note that this event is a MUST visit for any men out there, as the gifts for guys look very high quality and fantastic. This fabulous hairstyle is a group gift for members of No.Match. Just join their group for 50L, teleport to their gift room and you will find a MASSIVE room of past group gifts. Go get ’em! I had not picked up the group gift “No Candle” yet, and I just love it! This was the January group gift to celebrate 2023, but somehow I missed it until now. The hairstyle comes in a fatpack of colours and it also includes hair glitter in several different colours to match this elegant style.

Collectively, I’d say that us FabFree girls have a lot of really great qualities. One place where we really struggle though? Bundling up and dressing for the weather. And here is a prime example. Really I think that my facial expression says it all. The things that we do in the name of freebies!
Oh Christmas Tree
There is an Advent Calendar at Cosmopolitan, in the form of a lovely Christmas tree just inside the entrance. It claims to be an advent calendar, but when I was there the day after it started it was already loaded with free presents. It runs from December 15th through 25th so I’ll definitely be checking back to see what else is added each day. To get the free gifts you need to join the freeCosmopolitan group and then click on the ornaments on the tree to get the gifts. They are from all different designers and range from clothes to accessories to decor. Here’s some of what I snagged on my visit:
Free mittens by amias with three colors to choose from and in sizes for Legacy and Maitreya

My cute hairstyle is one of the many group gifts at no.match. It comes in a full pack of colours. I love this casual short style. A one-time join fee of 50L is required to get all the gifts. Just TP to the huge gift room from the map at the landing point and you will find a room flooded with group gifts! It’s worth it, trust me. 😉

As you may or may not already know, the Uber event is having an anniversary. You’ll go to the mainstores of all of the designers and that’s where the freegifts are. Of course you’ll need a list of what stores to visit and would you believe that Aline MADE one for us to use – you can find her handy dandy list as well as full Uber details here. It’s free when you click on the brown gift box at the no.match mainstore and includes everything that you need – various rigged and unrigged versions, multiple HUDS with colors to pick from, and even hair bases. I also got my skirt for free, from True Damage. It’s such a perfect metallic loose mini, and there are sizes for Legacy, Maitreya, and Reborn. I love it with the little cropped tank that I’m wearing, but I’m sure that you can think of tons of ways to style yours!

One of my favorite things about aaaaall of the events in SL, is finding new-to-me stores and going there to check out their freebies and other items in store. That’s how I came across Serendipity. Here you’ll find lots of pose and some other sweet little accessories as well, but mostly poses. The particular pose that I’m using today is from the Elodie set, which is free with a click, no group join required.
