Part II of the current Cosmopolitan anniversary round is absolutely loaded with gifts. There is so much amazing stuff from so many incredible designers. You’ve already seen a few posts about it on FabFree but we’ve barely scratched the surface. I didn’t know what direction to take, but I already had my heart set on that cutey cute top from Redeux, so I decided that my “theme” would be flowers. Once that was settled I picked out this lovely bouquet and tiara to show you. “But Allison, the tiara isn’t floral.” Well yes yes that’s true, I’m simply wearing that because I’m a princess. Smirks. Another day, another gorgeous dress. SLife is good. This one is brought to you as the newest free group gift at Varsity. I say “newest” because there are a bunch of other free group gifts at Varsity too, including gifts for the guys, just waiting to be snatched up. It’s really nice stuff, too.
The gown that I’m wearing today is so very perfect and sexy in it’s simplicity. Something about that strap hanging off the shoulder just gets me. If you’re into something a bit more bold, included in the gift is a bunch of colors and even some animal prints to choose from as well. The Varsity group is free to join so there’s no reason not to!

There are a ton of great sales that go on over the weekend and I try to hit a bunch of them because you can find some awesome deals. The Wanderlust Weekend is one of my favorites not just for the great deals but because the designers who participate are some of the best on the Grid.
Like Les Sucreries de Fairy. This designer always has some day dreamy, magical items on these sales. I was tickled to see this gauzy little dress, “Erin”. I’m showing the pink version because you will get this color in EVERY other color you might buy! So it’s like getting a BOGO… for just 50L. The build is spectacular and I am in love!

I also wanted to wear pink today to show off the cute butterfly shoes I grabbed for freeover at The Fifty event’s Anniversary round. There are lots of gifts there for members of the freeto join Fifty Linden Fridays group. The Mintae “Joy” laced sandals only come in this pastel palette of pinks and blues and mint but who can complain about such a lovely pair of shoes for Spring?

Oh my goodness, FabFree. I’ve been to The Fifty, and it was glorious. So many free gifts from so many amazing designers. It was all I could do to plop myself down on the edge of my skybox and show you my spoils.

The Fifty event is celebrating it’s 1st anniversary! It feels like it’s been around longer. And in true SL style, that means free gifts for us! Lots of them! At every booth. There are a handful set to the wrong group, but hopefully that will be sorted out quickly. You just need to join the Fifty Linden Friday group for free and click on all of the purple envelopes outside of the booths. I got a bit carried away with the things that I’m showing here. There are so many great things, I wouldn’t be surprised if you see another post or two here about The Fifty. For now, here is my haul:

The Fifty just opened, like four hours ago, so you might need to wait a bit for the crowds to dissipate a little. Don’t wait too long though, you’ve got until March 20th before it all goes away! This one is not to be missed.

I was in the mood for a bit of warm weather. I’ve been traipsing through the snow all day in RL, and though it was refreshing and quite lovely, I now need to warm up in some far-flung sunny clime!
In the Miix
Miix Event is in full swing, complete with some fun freegifts to be had for members of their free to join group. All you have to do is activate your tag and look for the cardboard boxes lying around the event. You’ll note the balloons tied to them so they’re a bit easier to find. I picked up this cute top and skirt by FurtaCor (sized for Maitreya) as one of the gifts. It comes with an extensive HUD with different colours and textures to mix and match your look. You’ll also find plenty of other gifts too, including for the gents – so tell the men in your life too! Miix Event is running until January 20th!

Clyde & I started day 4 of our road trip by driving from Campwich Lodge to a houseboat community where I had heard there was a café on the water. We parked the jeep and I just had to take a picture in this adorable park where the butterfly’s fliting amongst the flowers. I choose another casual outfit suitable for driving and exploring, the jumpsuit is a free gift from Coco and I am obsessed with these slides from Reign (need to find them in RL).
We waked down to the houseboats and found YingYang Free Cafe, got a bite to eat before heading to the beach. YingYang provides a 30 minute rezz in the slip so I put down my MadPea inflatable boat rezzer and off we went.
The views are amazing as your cruising along the coast line.
We made it to the beach in Puffin Head which is next to a community of Traditional Homes, such a lovely neighborhood. We stopped for a coffee at Java Sprockets, I highly recommend you visit as the pastries are amazing.
Next to the café is a bike rental, well it’s freeand you click to get a bike to wear so you can ride anywhere in Bellisseria. Clyde and I biked around the community looking at all the lovely homes that are all perfectly landscaped. Please explore the beach and community as there is lots to see and do.
After biking around I was hot and the water looked cool, so I changed into my bikini which was a free gift from Pure Poison and took a dip. The poses that I used in this picture and next are also a free gift from Loel.
The day was almost over, so I had a drink at The Boat Bar and enjoyed watching the sunset. Time to plan my next adventure in Bellisseria!

Today was a lovely day for a walk in the woods among wildflowers and bees. I was feeling bright and cheerful for this photoshoot. I am super excited to be joining the FabFree team! I must say a huge thank you for the opportunity! Since its very early days I’ve been an avid (although mostly silent) follower of FabFree and now I get to join in on the fun as a blogger!

My vivid pink outfit is from Vulnus by owner Vᴜʟɴᴜs (vulnuscouture). The blouse and pants are two separate pieces that come together in the hunt object for free. They are made to fit Freya, Hg, Isis, Legacy, Maitreya and Slink bodies. Vulnus is one of the sponsors for the Womenstuff Hunt.
The free jewelry set is from ZanSarai of Luminesse. You can click the necklace or earrings to bring up a menu that allows you to change options such as brightness, size, shininess and glow. Since it comes unrigged, the resize option is super nice.
