Two if By Sea

Captain’s Log: The Nineteenth of March, Year Unknown
My Co-Captain and I set sail for an uncharted destination just a few days ago. Today, for the first time, we found land. Our steam ship ran aground in an unfamiliar location. Where, or even when our time travels have brought us, we cannot be certain. All that is certain is that we found our adventure, and we look absolutely smashing while doing so.

Hello Fab Free’rs! Welcome back to the blog, I promise you haven’t stumbled over a strange steam punk novella. I was just having a little fun with some of the fantastic Seam Hunt prizes my guy and I gathered. His hat, and our amazing jackets are free Seam Hunt prizes. In addition to the hunt freebies, I picked up an incredibly detailed free steam paddle boat that was just too cool to not share with you. I hope you enjoy these fabulous finds, and maybe even go on an adventure or two of your own.

The Hat – I think bowler style hats are really cool for steam punk attire. This particular Steam Hunt gift hat by Miss Darcy has some extra steamy details, both literally and figuratively. This cool hat has a “steam” effect that comes from the wheel handle on top of the hat when worn, not to mention the goggles which complete the look. You have until March 31st to hunt down the little brown cog and claim your free gift.

The Coat – I still cannot get over the gorgeous details of these tailcoats by Contraption. This coat comes in male and female mesh sizes, and includes a cummerbund applier, as well as a system layer cummerbund. Additionally there is a color change hud that lets you change the color of the ascot/scarf and the little pin in the center of the scarf. Lastly, each of the sizes has an additional “bound” option for a corseted look. The best part is that this highly detailed piece is Contraption’s free Steam Hunt prize.

The Steam Paddle Boat – Believe it or not this ultra cool vessel is not only completely free, it has full permissions. I stumbled across this awesome freebie while exploring sims. This free boat can be found at the Alpha Tribe sim. Simply pay the boat 0 linden and you’ll find a copy of it in the objects folder of your inventory. Along with being cool to look at, this steam paddle boat has some animated parts, and 2 sit poses. There is a single pose at the steering wheel, and one up top at the organ. Lastly, since this freebie has full permissions, you can customize it however you like.

P.S. If you dig Blue’s waxed mustache, it’s a freebie too! You can pick it up for free at Kauna. Afterall, dapper gentleman would be complete without one.

It’s Five O’clock Somewhere

It was one of those nights…

I got home from work and ditched the work clothes and put on something more comfortable and headed straight for the bar. It doesn’t happen very often, but every once in a while, after a very long and trying day, I need a beer or two to wash away the day’s worries and just relax, even if it is just for that little bit of time.

A Little Birdie Told Me

It’s a beautiful morning…

…at least in Second Life. It’s a bit overcast and rainy in my neck of the woods. While checking on the horses this morning, I stopped for a rest on one of my hay carts and a little bird flew down and kept me company on my respite….

I’m acclimating to my new look very easily. I really thought it would be more traumatic than it has been (ok… trying the demos WAS a bit traumatic). But now that I have been fully enmeshed, I want you show you a FREE hunt gift from the enMESHed Into Spring 2017 Hunt. I found the blue egg hunt item at Fearsum and won the 2 Tone Sweater as a prize. Can you have too many shoes? Nahhhh!!

Hello again! I said I’d be back with a second footwear post, didn’t I, so here I am! Are you loving all these shoes being shown, I sure have been. My shoe folder in my inventory is over-flowing. Now, I really could have put this grouping of shoes I’m about to show you, in with my first post, but I thought, since this post will be a one-stop shop type thing, I’d keep it separate. So, let me get right to it.
