Weekend on the French Riviera

Heyo Fabbies and happy weekend!  Or should I say Salut!  Ca va?

I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful spring weekend.  I am out here just sipping some wine on the French Riviera where the Bohemian style is all the rage right now.  In fact, it is all the rage throughout Europe!  Just colors and frills and fun sexy outfits!  I think with all the war and pandemic and everything else, the mood of peace and love so exemplified by the Hippies back in the 60’s and since then is on everyone’s mind.  Mind?  I don’t mind, it’s my preferred style, bohemian gal that I am!  So when I saw the Saturday Sale and Belle Epoque, well, I just had to run down and grab it.  I want to be in style while I sip my wine like a fashionista!

The Saturday Sale

This is a bit time sensitive, so if you love this outfit and want to see all the colors it comes in for only 75L per color, you will need to hit Belle Epoque today.  I’m not sure how long they keep their Saturday Sales up for.  This outfit fits Maitreya and Legacy only but gosh all the colors are stunning.  I had a difficult time trying to choose and finally went with my signature pink.  I can’t go wrong with pink… ever.  lol

No group is needed to get the sale price, so run on over and style up!  I’m *so* glad I saw this and grabbed it.  I am absolutely in love!

My table, chair and wine (and pose) are another 75L Nextup from Le Poppycock.  I love that I can wear the props and they pose me and so I have no need to rez, so I can use them anyplace (like I did!  lol)!

Laundry Day!

Here I am gang, back again in stark contrast to my previous (solo – not the one where I am fending off a pack of wild redheads) post, I’m back to my old self again and catching up on some chores.  Plants watered, check.  Blog posts done, check.  Rent paid, check.  Laundry…. in progress!

Doing the laundry is much more fun when you can bring along some adorable cuteness with you to snuggle and smooch while you wait!  My favorite part about laundry is when the dryer stuff comes out nice and toasty… ahhhhhh.  Even if it is hot out for some reason, the heat in fresh laundry is so soothing.  I wonder why that is.  Do you know?

Of course with all my laundry needing to get done, I had to find a new outfit to wear while I washed the rest and so I headed over to the Free Dove, cause I haven’t been in a while, to see what newness they might have.  I wasn’t disappointed of course because I found this to die for outfit (I may live in this and be buried in it!).  I absolutely love the bohemian pattern on the top with the Indian elephants.  Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE.  I know I show you all sorts of styles in my posts my friends, but bohemian (and my whimsical side LURVES Kawaii) is where my soul does a happy dance.  I don’t find nearly as much bohemian as I would like nowadays, it feels like the entire grid is obsessed with jumpsuits lately.  So when I do find it, get out of the way cause Imma gonna do a big ol happy dance!!!

Bonus points if I can find Bohemian and Pink combined!  That’s absolutely ME to a T!

The Epitome of Zen

As you guys know by now, I am all about the bohemian or the pink.   Anything both pink and bohemian, bonus points!  So I absolutely loved this skirt from Cremosas, and the fact that it only cost me 10L made it that much sweeter, if possible!

Just a Hippie Girl, in a Hippie World

I am a sucker for anything artsy and bohemian… or pink.  I’m like a bohemian version of Elle Woods (Legally Blonde).  Ok I’m not *like* a bohemian version of Elle Woods, that’s basically what I actually am, right down to a rescue Chi. (I don’t dress him in pink however, he is really a daddy’s boy)

Today is a bohemian sort of day, it’s warm, a bit humid, breezy.  So I stopped at this cute food truck to grab a cold drink and it came with a slice of watermelon!  So refreshing!  I really needed a walk someplace quiet, I’ve been all over the place doing the Fab Free Enchanted Forest Hunt!  It was so much work to get set up, but now I am enjoying the fruits of all that labor (not watermelon!  lol).  I hope you guys are too!

Gardening, Bohemian Style

I don’t know about y’all, but I am enjoying starting to get out in my garden.  The sunshine, the smell of the flowers, I love it!  Things are starting to grow and its getting closer to a time when I can just chill and sip some ice cold sweet tea (I’m a southern girl, doncha’ know).  Luckily I have this beautiful Bohemian Garden Shack to relax near my garden.  You can find it at this month’s Swank Event.  It is by Dreamland Designs, it is beautiful and comes with plenty of poses.

Hello again my fab free fam!

How do you decide what to wear?  Do you try to fit in and wear things that other people wear, or approve of, or do you do your own thing?  Do you dress according to mood?  Or maybe you have a system that helps you decide?

Me, I’ve always done my own thing, both in sl and rl.  It hasn’t always been the easiest to deal with (rl!) but I don’t have the ability to be anything but myself.  I’m very VERY bad at faking it.  What you see is what you get folks!  Now, in sl, we have a LOT more fashion choices than in rl.  I mean gosh I could NEVER fit all my sl clothing into my rl closet!  Nor would it all look as stunning on me as it does on my lovely sl avatar.  However, my choices are the same.  As I’ve said before, I feel like a sort of bohemian version of Elle Woods (Legally Blonde), while I was a tomboy most of my life and still mostly am, there is that part of me that lonnnnggggssssss to be girly but isn’t quite sure how to do it!  lol  I lost my mom at an early age and had no other female role models, so I became sort of a guys girl.   Many of my closest rl friends are guys and I find them easier to hang with than other girls, for the most part.  I’m not sure I ever properly learned how to “girl”.  lol  But I digress!  (I go off on side tangents, sorry  lol) My choices in both worlds reflect the bohemian, artsy, PINK-ishness, quirky soul that I am.  I don’t care if its in style, if I love it, I wear it.  Also unicorns.  anything & everything with unicorns.
