This lovely bun is the latest group gift at Mina. The hairstyle comes with options to add and remove the bangs, and to attach and remove the done-up bun at the back. It’s a lovely hairstyle! The Mina VIP group costs 200L to join.
The Dress of Many Patterns!
This dress I have on has many different floral and spring patterns, and it only costs 1 L on the Hop Along Hunt 4. You can pick this hunt prize up at Ari-Pari. The hint to find the prize is: “find where the waterfalls are underneath the vines of ivy.” I love how the petals fall on this pattern of the dress- they look like they are alive because the texture is so realistic. I even bought some matching floral sandals called Aurora Sandals at Pure Poison which cost only 38 L in their outlet with the freegroup tag active. I’ve been eyeing these sandals for a while, because you have the option to change the colour of the petals separately from the sandal straps. What a great deal this is! We probably all remember the song “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend.” I remember thinking: “But diamonds are hard and why do boys get dogs?!” Because dogs were man’s best friend — what was up with that? Life was so unfair! Well MINA @ the Hair Fair, Belle Epoque and Empyrean Forge are here to save the day with outstanding fashion (as usual!) to make up for all the insanity!
I had spent a hard day’s work braving Hair Fair, where I picked up this amazing FREE gift from MINA @ the Hair Fair called Selenia. This gift is only available in Grey tones (which was fine by me as it fits my roleplay character (a glass fae) just perfectly! But it would also be terrific for mature looks or even in the very lightest shade to pass for a platinum blonde.
The great thing is that this is one of those second chance gifts! You first saw this hair HERE where it was blogged as an amazing find by Love Trill at The Arcade Gacha! So if you missed it then, now it’s available for a second go ’round!
My next stop was a quick jump to Belle Epoque for their amazing FREE group gift which is perfect for any roleplayer’s wardrobe and can be worn as is — or over the top of system clothes or applier clothes for more modesty if desired. The group is FREE to join and the gift is FREE as well. It is fully mesh in all the standard sizes, and includes three great colors (I’m only showing you the green but there is also a beautiful blue and a fabulous brown shade inside the package as well!).
I had decided that the evening now called for a little relaxation, which meant I headed home to sit by the fire and did the rest of my shopping via the marketplace where I was thrilled to discover that one of my favorite designers — Empyrean Forge — is spoiling us all with a special promo! A 1L giftie of their Contessa ring in either a lustrous white or sexy black pearl option (depending upon which way you go)!
This is great because you can give it as a gift to a friend as well if you like. I finished my look off with a lovely manicure set by alaskametro in a french silver finish for slink hands. The applier kit is on the Marketplace and has a great palette choice of 25 colors for only 25L. That’s a hard deal to beat for such a great color set!
In case you were wondering, yes I did splurge. With all the mullah I saved on my other goodies for this get-up, I did buy the jewelry that matches the Contessa ring! Empyrean forge is offering a lovely matching necklace and matching bracelet and with a color change hud, each with two metal choices, and 12 gemstone finishes. I just couldn’t resist!
Some of the stores at Second Style Island are participating in an event called Week of White which runs from 9th July to 16th July. These vendors have either set out existing items or created special edition items all priced at 50L for the whole week. There are some great finds here so I thought I would show you a little of whats on offer..
First off, Sn@tch has a freebie outside their store for the event called Faking Innocence. Ivey has also reduced all packs with something white inside down to 50L. I picked up a couple of outfits to show you..
Is called A Textural Experience. This is the white top with the grey pants, which is one of a few colours in the pack. You really do get a great deal with these sets for 50L as you get more than just the white.
This one is called Meadow Maze. The skirt is sculpted so may not be suitable for some AO’s however it is awesome and I love it.
And this one is called Its warm in here.There are about a dozen sets inside the store so make sure you check it out.. The jewellery and belt are the True Romance set by Rhedd Night Designs found at the AQUA SSI Store . .
The shoes worn in the last Sn@tch picture above are the Week of White contribution of Heart & Sole. They are HUD controlled to help match the skin to yours and also come with metal options and toenail colour options.
Heartsick have set out five skins in a limited edition make up called Feather which will only be available at the Second Style Island store and for this week only. These skins preview the new base as was shown in the July 50L released last week. You get freckles options and 3 cleavage options as shown below.
From the top left, full cleavage, full cleavage with freckles, mid cleavage and no cleavage which is a barely there cleavage for those with smaller breast size.

Renee blogged the White Ever Song dress yesterday but I had to show it to you again because it is simply stunning. The jewellery was created especially to compliment the dress and is free inside the pack in both gold and silver metals.
This is the Parisienne Rhedd in white, again with matching bracelets included in a cute pink colour.
Timmy has several things set for 50L in white and white/black, but I was quite taken with this white vest. The jewellery in this picture is also by Rhedd Night Designs called True Romance and you can find it outside the AQUA SSI Store
This sexy see through shift dress is fromSheer and is simply stunning. You could wear a shirt or bra underneath if you didnt want to be quite so daring.
