Pride Never Stops

The end of June is nigh upon us. Pride never stops; it shouldn’t. It’s a choice you can make to support the LGBTQ+ community and remember the history of struggles to obtain basic human rights. My support comes naturally as I have long-time friends and family who are LGBTQ+. You’ve probably seen several posts about Pride @ Home and other events.

To help you show support there are a number of Fabulous designers who donated gifts for the Pride @ Home SL celebration. All of the gifts are Free but you need to hurry because the event ends on June 30th. Madame Aline, the FabFree boss lady, featured some of the event gifts here.

Showing Those Rainbow Colors

Ladies, how can you NOT love these items? I do love sparkly things! And the bright colors make me smile. I threw this look together with several gift items. Do I look a tad too festive to anyone? No way, never ever! Let’s get to it.

My delightful bodysuit is a Free SL19B gift from PrettyDeceased. It’s the Pride edition and it is so pretty & festive! It’s got the little side skirt attached. It also comes with starfish to cover up the boobies.

I didn’t wear the starfish because I wanted to add the crown and breast plate I picked up a couple of weekends ago from Synnergy.  I think the pieces go together quite nicely.

Ready to Garden?

Good afternoon Fab friends. I got some new shelving and items for my garden! I am not much of a gardener myself but all the tools are ready for my gardening boy to come over and get to work. 😉

Fun Finds @ KMH

I found a few cute freebies at KMH. One of them is this pretty light blue and purple hairstyle. This is an older gift, but very cute and not shown on the blog yet as far as I’m aware. 😉 The hairstyle also comes in a brown colour if you prefer to be a brunette. I also grabbed the pretty large garden shelf, which you can see in my photo on the left beside me. The shelf is made in “old wood” and it’s only 1L at KMH. It’s high quality and quite the deal! No group is required to get these gifts.

Dolled Up

Tutti Bell currently has 800 Linden’s worth of free store credits available at their mainstore. I love their items, as they help take your avatar to the next level with the amount of details included in their applies and makeup. Just join their free group and click the board to get them. You have until May 4th to get and spend the credits. I purchased a set of eyebrows and a collection of lipsticks with my credit. I also picked up their free group gifts while I was there, and I am wearing the free Moana eyes. They come in many natural shades and they are lovely.

Christmas Rainbow

Deep Within

Isn’t it nice to imagine who you can become in SL?  Many of us enjoy creating characters and new experiences inworld, and I am certainly one of those people.  Today I have decided to bring out the dark sorceress that resides deep within.  She’s not really a bad chick, per se, she just knows what she wants and will make sure that anyone who gets in her way gets their comeuppance as required.  She also has a penchant for black clothing, because of course she does!

The Warehouse Sale Celebrates

We Made it Through

The weekend has arrived! I am totally not a drinker, but this week may have pushed me a bit more towards the adult beverages section than usual.  I’ll raise a glass of virtual pink mocktail goodness in everyone’s general direction for making through whatever this week threw at us.  Off with the workwear, on with the weekend crazies, I say!

Rainbow Connection

I love rainbows (and anything sparkly!) and so I enjoy all the colors associated with the Pride @ Home Event!  I also love how the colors stand for all of us in harmony, side by side and looking beautiful each in our own way!  What color would you be?  I’d like to be pink but that’s not a rainbow color… (alas!) so I will choose my second favorite which would be purple. 🙂

I also notice that Indigo is missing from all the rainbows in my pic.  But that’s just me being a perfectionist and a PITA, so lets just move on to our freebies shall we?

Rainbow Connection

One of my very favorite songs ever is The Rainbow Connection, originally sang by Kermit in The Muppet Movie (back when the muppets were the muppets!  But I digress!), it’s also sort of my life theme.  My favorite version of it besides the original was done by the Dixie Chicks (now known only as The Chicks.  sigh.) and I love to sing along.  Just a great song!

I picked up all these very pretty rainbow-y goodies at the Pride @ Home Event, which was so much fun!  Lots of freebies, a colorful parade and just a really great time to be had!  Everything I am showcasing here is absolutely free, no group required.
