It’s Monday again Fab Free!  That means that you need just a bit of attitude to get through the day.  I’m pretty sure I found the perfect shirt to be certain that people get the idea not to trifle with me today!

I love a good t-shirt.  You all know I own far too many in both the realms of both SL and RL, so I can’t pass up a good one when it comes along!  I picked up this fun one over at Baetik by joining their group for 150L, and then it was all mine.  There are four versions in the box, all with varying amusing sentiments to let others know just how you feel!  There are a few other gifts there too, so make sure you grab them while you’re at it!  Oh, I’ve added the vendor pic below so you can see all the shirt options!  Woot!

I also picked up a great pair of shoes over at La Perla in their dollarbie gift section.  Head upstairs, and you’ll find a little room squirreled away in the back filled with 1L finds.  I really love these running shoe-booties, with the wings up the side!  They’re different and cool and I can make them work with a bunch of different looks.  These babies comes sized for Belleza, Maitreya and Slink.  Sweet!

The Magic Bus

Oh hey there Fab Free.  You caught me doing something that looks suspiciously like waiting for a bus.  I did years of bus waiting in RL, and it really wasn’t my favourite activity to be perfectly honest.  So why am I waiting for buses in SL?  FOR FASHION, THAT’S WHY!

Ooh, Pearly.

Love pointed me in the direction of this fun outfit from La Perla.  It costs one tiny little Linden and you don’t even have to join a group!  I particularly enjoy the errant ribbon around the neck, which comes included with the outfit (which is sized for Maitreya bodies).  Isn’t it cool?  To get yours just amble up to the top floor at La Perla and you’ll find a whole wall of goodies.  Yay!

It’s a Slice

There’s a new group gift at Mug right now, and that’s this fun fruity backpack!  It comes with an HUD to change between fruits (there’s watermelon, lemon and lime to choose from).  To get your own, join the Mug group for 250 Lindens, and while you’re at it pick up the rest of the group gifts that are out.  There’s a new gift pretty much each month, so the join fee is pretty worth it.

Southern Summer

Sometimes I wish southern summer evenings were really as they are often described in books or depicted in movies. The reality is far less pleasant. One more thing to enjoy about Second Life, summer evenings are every bit as pleasant as you want them to be. I got caught up in the sexy yet romantic look of this dollarbie romper from La Perla and settled into an evening picnic complete with mulled wine and sweets. It’s been a while since I came across something pretty and lacy to share with you. Needless to say this “bridal bodysuit” by La Perla quickly caught my eye. It’s just 1 linden, with no need to join a group of any kind. The bodysuit/romper comes in white only. You’ll find this pretty dollarbie waiting on the second floor of the La Perla store.

Back at It

Heyo Fab Free!  I’m back after a few days of exploring the world!  I’ve had a lovely break full of wondrous things, but I’m gladly back to show off a few more fun finds that will keep you looking gorgeous and beach-ready inworld!

The Pearl

I mentioned the other day that FurtaCor were having a little hunt over at their shop, and I am happy to announce that La Perla have also joined in on the fun!  I picked up a cute watermelon-inspired bikini by finding the watermelon slice and paying just 15L for it.  I also grabbed these must-have shades for another 15L, which is a deal and a half if you ask me!  There are other fun finds as well on this hunt as well (some of which are a bit racy, so you can check out the hunt key here – be warned there’s a bit of skin showing!)

A Bit of This, A Bit of That

I’m toeing the line today between that which is sweet and that which is dark.  I’m all of a flutter in my new lingerie which makes me feel sweet and girly, but then I just had to get my cigarette out and mar the whole effect, now didn’t I?  I’m not really a proponent of smoking, but sometimes just holding a cigarette gives you a certain air of dark mystery.  I’ll just say that I’m holding it for someone else, yes?  Right.  That’s what we’re going with!

Ebento Strikes Again!

This anniversary round of Ebento is absolutely HUGE.  I wandered over there for a little shop, and much to my delight I found enough gifts to drown in!  (I don’t know, drowning in gifts sounds a bit fun, kinda…sorta?) Anyway, I joined the Ebento group for free and clicked on all the cakes and walked off with more goodies than you can shake a stick at.   Here’s what I’m showing you today!

At The End of The Day

Hi there, Fabulous Readers!  It’s been a long day of riding the waves, and the pupster and I are having one last look across the water before we head home for the night.  Today’s little get away to the shores of Kanaloa Surf Beach was inspired by a budget-friendly wet suit that I picked up over at La Perla.

Fits Me Like a Glove

Featuring a deep shade of indigo accented with bright blue piping and a dark gray inlay, this outfit will have you suited up in style.  The Surf Set Gift from La Perla covers the entire length of your legs to protect them from the chilly water and any scrapes and scratches you might encounter.  It includes half length sleeves and a high collar to keep you completely shielded from the elements.  The package contained classic mesh sizes from extra small through extra large, but no alpha layer.  Although there weren’t fits designed exclusively for mesh avatars, the small worked just fine on my Belleza Jake mesh body.  I’m including a forward facing snapshot below so you can get a good look at the logo splashed across the chest area.  Ladies, don’t despair, there is a female version included for you as well.  I couldn’t drag Kat out with me today….maybe next time!  If you’re up for a surfing adventure, head on over to the group gift wall at La Perla.  For just one Linden dollar, you’ll be well equipped for a day of play at the beach.

The Cusp of June

There is something to be said about the end of the month of May.  Sure, the beginning is great, absolutely – but the end… ah, the end.  It’s warm, the promise of summer lingers in the air, and you have a flood of memories from when you were at school.  Well, at least I do!  In my neck of the woods, Summer vacation starts at the end of June – so June to me was a magical month filled with play days, and popsicles and evening bike rides, all culminating with the last day of school. That’s when we could jaunt off to the public pool – can’t you just smell the sunscreen?  Ugh.  I love it.

Oops!

I meandered over to The Garage Fair, and found a whole lot of awesomeness.  There are a load of gifts hanging around, all priced at 1L, and some even being free!  I got my somewhat revealing dress from the Cheeky stall, and paid only 1L for it!  I’d say that’s a fair deal! Perfect for my walk to the pool.   My nail polish applier, that I picked up at the January & February booth,  was completely free and I think it looks just spiffing.  (I always wanted to say ‘just spiffing’).  It comes with appliers for Maitreya, and can be changed to several really lovely metallic hues.  I went with the shiny purple, because yay purple!
