In the spirit of social distancing and the need for sunshine, I had a tea party with this adorably grumpy-faced pup and a rabbit. It was quite fun and not nearly as mad as it might sound. Hello Fab Free, happy Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I have been aching for some sunshine and adventure. A few days enjoying the sights and sounds of a coastal town or a lakeside retreat sound heavenly. So I think that’s just what I’ll do! Time to pack up the doggos, throw on something casual and cute, and hit the road.
For this post I picked up a few essentials for my adventure. The scooter complete with the picnic basket full of adorable puppies by 777, as well as my floral bikini and shorts. This scooter is so detailed, and it is ridable! It comes with a camera hud, and there are tons of options in the scooter’s touch menu. The best part in my opinion? You can have a passenger! That’s right, you don’t have to cruise alone if you don’t want to. There are so many choices for customizing how you ride, as well as fun features like a horn and lights. Safira has so many group gifts it’s almost difficult to keep up with! Not a bad problem to have if you ask me. Their most recent group gift happens to be these summery floral shorts. The shorts come in several sizes and have a texture change hud with 3 equally pretty floral choices, as well as options for the metal bits. Also at Saifra, my bikini top is the top half of an adorable tropical print bikini that is one of the many Safira Lucky Board prizes. The Safira group has a one time join fee of 50 linden.
Hey there Fab Free, I have to say that with all that is happening in the world, I am thankful for my Second Life. I’m also glad you’re here. While we are all “staying home” did you know that you can find “stay home” gifts on the Marketplace as well as in world? Some are available both in-world, and on the Marketplace. I don’t know about you, but with the higher numbers joining in on Second Life recently, I sometimes find teleporting to be cumbersome. With that in mind I picked up a few “stay home” themed free or inexpensive gifts from the Marketplace to share with you.

Nothing says pandemic fashion like a face mask. There are tons of face mask gifts floating around, this one is from Koyuki. It’s a unisex Marketplace dollarbie that comes in basic black or white with some minor color changes for 9 options in total. I liked that this mask is simple and fit well with some minor resizing/positioning.
Maryfer
Who doesn’t love a little buffalo plaid now and then? I suppose it could be just me, but somehow I don’t think I’m alone on this. My and black plaid top is a freebie on the Marketplace put out by Maryfer in the spirit of staying home and staying safe. This top is fitted for Maitreya Lara only. There’s also a freemen’s version of this top. It too is red and black plaid. The men’s shirt is fully unbuttoned and sized for Signature male body/bodies. There’s no specification as to whether it fits a specific Signature body, or all of them.
Unfazed & Zombie Suicide
Lastly, the hand sanitizer spray I’m using is a free collaboration between Unfazed and Zombie Suicide. This fun animated freebie worked well with my AO and static poses. The bento animation makes your avatar appear to pull the spray from a pocket, spray hands, replace the sanitizer in a “pocket”, and then rub the sanitizer in. It also has the added option of letting you pick how frequently your avatar will bust out the hand sanitizer. You can get your copy of this free animated hand sanitizer on the Marketplace.

I think everyone should know that I am seriously considering spending the rest of April in this pink bunny suit. Hello there Fab Free’rs! We are inching toward Easter, which in my opinion yields some of the best holiday candy of all the holidays; second only to Halloween.
Speaking of candy, Andika sent out this sweet pastel striped lollipop out in their notices not too long ago. It has a bento hold pose and the Andika group is free to join. As for my bunny suit, yes, it is every bit as comfortable as it looks. It’s also a free gift for Fabulously Free in SL group members by Tiar, and it happens to be unisex. Hello hello Fab Free, I hope you’re all surviving first life well enough. As for Second Life, Blue and I decided to throw a few things in a bag and jump in the car for a much-needed getaway. Like most of us, we decided we could use a little change of scenery. This little diner was an impromptu stop along the way on our road trip to nowhere in particular. We got out stretch our legs, take in some scenery, grab a bite to eat, and of course take a few photos. After all, is it really a vacation if you don’t have a few social media worthy photos? Hah, just kidding.
