Hello FabFree! Once again I’ve sent Kerydwyn out to grab up some freebies for us. This time it’s from the fourth Anniversary Round of the Unik Event. I needed her help today because dang there’s a ton of free gifts here! Nearly every booth has something set out for us! And believe me, we had to tussle over who got what!

Next from the Shop & Hop is the cute heart pose from DPSP poses. While this is labeled the “male” pose heart it could easily be unisex. The female pose comes in an identical heart prop but she’s posed in the center. It would be easy to move the hearts together if you wanted two Avis pose on the “same” prop for a really cute couple’s picture. Both hearts are, of course, freeto everyone.
Alistar’s new hair style is also afree gift but not from the Shop & Hop. He’s wearing the ‘Neil’ style from Vango and you can pick it up as a freepast Group gift. Just wear your free to join Group tag and collect it and several other gifts. ‘Neil’ comes with a HUD of classic colors and a tinting page so you can make just about any color you desire.
Hello Fabulous Folks! I got Kerydwyn out and about again today since she is rockin’ LeLutka’s last gift head, Raven and I saw that Sugar Riott has two very nice Group Gifts out right now, one for the Raven head and the Quinn head.
This is the “012” shape from Sugar Riott and you can get it for freewhen you join their free Group. This is a full body and head shape. It is modifiable. You will get a separate shape for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya and Reborn. So it should fit you perfectly. One extra plus, the gift comes with a notecard for full styling including landmarks to the various merchants. I wish ALL designers did that for us!

Hey there my darling No0bs and all Fabulous Folks. Class is in session once again and we have a TON of things to cover tonight. So let’s jump on in.
First, I want to answer a question I received because I think it’s something we all struggle with: Makin’ those Lindens. I have been checking out one of the easiest ways and that is the Fish Hunt Game. You catch fish and then pop to the game’s HQ and turn them in. The biggest thing is it takes forever to make any significate money. But it’s all free and if you have the patience for it then as you fish you get better at it and over time you start to catch more fish and less trash. If you use the Fishing Game to make money, let me hear from you!
Much like the Fishing, patience is needed for the next “free” money maker: The Money Chairs. I found this one at the Kingbal store. ( Which also has loads of freebies everywhere.) You only make 1L at a time and only if your letter or a ? comes up. So…. not fun but still totally free. I couldn’t find a list of such chairs or even the “Money Trees” new residents can harvest for their first 30 days.
I’m going to come out and say… the best way to have L$ is simple to buy it with real currency. The exchange rate is good. One Linden is literally one cent. The minimum purchase order is $2.50 which buys you 600L ( at the current rate) You can set up a payment method as you choose including PayPal. Of course , this is JUST my own personal opinion so take it with a huge grain of salt.
I want to clear something else up in response to a nasty comment/NC I received in world. The Bloggers here on FabFree are NOT paid. We don’t even get “free stuff” from most designers and creators. We set piggybanks up at our HQ because some folks like to help out their favorite bloggers with our expenses or to say a little “thank you”. We aren’t ‘begging on top of getting all that free stuff’. We do this because we love it.
What I can recommend for all us penny-pinchers is a SandBox. These are places you are allowed to rezz objects and build free of charge. There are “premium Sandboxes” out there that are pay or only for folks who have a premium account. But many are simply free open places. You can find empty ones by typing in “Sandbox” to your search.
Pick one, I picked this one at random. Please respect the rules of each sandbox, there will usually be a sign or an automatic NC delivery with rules.
Then, open your World Map. (ctrl + M). In the left lower side you’ll see your “Location” Use the arrow or manually enter a height. I picked 1500- ish and that seems to be high enough. Get your avatar in ‘fly’ then teleport up. Take a look around if the sky is empty as far as you can see, you’re in the right place.
Now, if you’re using FireStorm Viewer simply type ” REZPLAT ” and get a platform. Now you can land and rezz boxes or whatever you need.
You can even rezz a skybox. There are a TON of free skyboxes on the MarketPlace for you or go grab this gorgeous “New York Apt Skybox” from AppleFall for free.

Each Sandbox has a different time of “return” when it automatically returns everything in the sandbox to it’s owners. So do check to see when the next clean takes place before you rezz out. And , just as a curtesy, when you log out take/delete your items. Leaving trash in the sandbox (or anywhere you may be able to rezz that isn’t yours) is just rude.
One thing to remember – You can’t set your “Home” to one of these sandboxes. To get around this, make sure you leave Second Life from your platform each time. Then when you come back to log in, log in to “Last Location” and you will pop in at the sandbox.

Hey FabFree! It’s been a minute, but I’m back now, taking in all the sun and enjoying the summer weather. I am embracing that saying fully here with “when life gives you lemons make lemonade”. The Summer Carnival
The Summer Carnival event is a big hit this year. The Summer Carnival is filled with cotton candy and popcorn machines, awesome summer items and fun carnival games to play! They also have a couple freebiesout, so there should be something for everyone. Some of the free items I am showing from the event today are:

Goodies at SL18B!
Monomania has a 500L gift card out at the event for their group members at their booth on the Jubilant sim. I had to have the Surrender Yourself set, which includes the coat, top, skirt and boots I am wearing. The colours of each piece in the set can be changed to a number of colours. It is the exclusive for the event and it is purchasable with the gift card, and will leave you with 300L left to spend. To get the gift card, you need to join the Monomania group, which costs only 50 Linden. Monomania also has a free outfit at SL18B. Now is a good time to get into their group, because in addition to all these amazing goodies they are offering at Jubilant, they also have many group gifts at their mainstore.
The cute little books and plant are a freegift from Korpokkur House at SL18B. This gift is so cute, and it matches my new painting perfectly! There are so many gifts at the event, so I am just showing you a glimpse of the awesomeness that awaits at SL18B!

I needed to pick up some streamers for the birthday festivities and a gacha by Ari-Pari at the Summer Carnival did just the trick! These banners are great for any parties, indoor or outdoor, to celebrate all the awesome events going on this month! They only cost 25L per pull and they include lights too. So cute!
Wear Who You Are
Another must-have gift I wanted to share today is the new Pride Hair Color Universal Hud from EscalateD. It is freefor all either at the .EscalateD. mainstore or on the Marketplace. I’ve talked about .EscalateD. hairs before, and the way they work is that the hair colour huds can be used on all EscalateD hairs currently for sale- they are universal. Hey, FabFree. Have you ever gone sailing in SL? I can tell you that it’s really fun! I used to go out with my friends on the water all the time. It’s so relaxing going out on the water at Black Sea and just sailing all your troubles away. I recently decided that I’m going to learn to sail myself, so I headed over to Tradewinds Yachtclub to pick up some free boats and resources to start my new learning journey! Before I get to the freeboats, though, I have some awesome free makeup and 1L hair lights to share with you that I wore on my visit to the yacht club!

The adorable pink blush I am wearing is a freegroup gift at Pout!. It’s called the “Cutie patootie Kawaii hearts & blush set” which is a really cute name too! The second deal I have to share today are the cute bright lights in my hair. These only cost 1 L at Magika! You will need the freeMagika group tag to get these hair lights for only 1L. They’re a bit of a hidden gem, and you can find them right next to the Nova hair on sale at the store. These hair lights are meant to be worn with the Nova hair, but I’m sure they could work with other hairs in your inventory too! You can wear the lights as white like I have here or as red and green which would be great for future Christmases!

Now back to the topics of my visit to the Yacht cub and sailing, I should also mention that Tradewinds Yachtclub has a whole whack of free sailboats out around the sim! I grabbed them all. As I really want to learn how to sail, this seems like the perfect spot to grab those free boats! I’ve been told the freebieboats on this sim are great to learn from.

For this gift, you need to be a member of the Scandalize group. In addition to that huge room of freegifts Aline shared with us last week, Scandalize has set out some extra gifts at this sim which you can only get at this location. Just go into the “group gifts” room on the outlet sim. The Scandalize group costs 20 Linden to join, and it is well worth the fee because you get access to lots of fatpacks, gifts and lucky letters!
