Next from the Shop & Hop is the cute heart pose from DPSP poses. While this is labeled the “male” pose heart it could easily be unisex. The female pose comes in an identical heart prop but she’s posed in the center. It would be easy to move the hearts together if you wanted two Avis pose on the “same” prop for a really cute couple’s picture. Both hearts are, of course, freeto everyone.
Alistar’s new hair style is also afree gift but not from the Shop & Hop. He’s wearing the ‘Neil’ style from Vango and you can pick it up as a freepast Group gift. Annnd speaking of time… Time is almost up over at Sugar Riott to grab the two freeshapes that are the January group gifts. There is the one for Raven that Ms Kerydwyn showed us and now we have Alistar showing off the gift, 014, for the Quinn head.

As I was looking around the grid for deals for the guys I found Gabriel, a men’s fashion staple in Second Life. Not only have they been around since 2009, their quality is amazing. I also discovered that this designer is very generous by providing a small store of freeitems that anybody would be proud to wear.
Most of the freebies are clothes that are not rigged for a specific mesh body however unless you have a very large muscular shape you shouldn’t have trouble wearing them.

Hey FabFam! Like I told you Monday night, I’m back with a post for the 54 Holiday Event from LeLutka but this time it’s Alistar’s turn for a makover. Ms Starla introduced you to her Vinny and I was so happy to see another guy for FabFree. Gabe gets lonely ya know. And I was shocked at how different he looks from the 2 styles I worked up for Alistar! It really goes to show how a little creativity and some excellent shapes and skins can make a whole new “person”!
So let’s jump in with Alistar. First up, I kept the right-out-of-the-box shape and brow shape for Quinn. It’s a good shape, not too big and not too small. I felt that the included skin made the model look much older than what I’m used to seeing. But even that is a good thing really. We need more diverse looks across the Grid. I decided to go with the skin from Avarosa for my version of Quinn.
The aptly named skin “Quinn” comes in six shades both with and without brows as well as it’s own head and brow shapes. I needed the Neck Fade Fixes from Bold & Beauty I mentioned yesterday to get a great match with my current body skin. Remember, those fixees are packaged in the “Nicholas” gift’ I was a bit disappointed that no designer offered matching body skins with the gifts. Hey, I can dream! 😉
Alistar’s snazzy hat is from Vango. “Nate” comes with the attached hair and a helpful alpha layer for the top of your head. You also get a HUD for 20 shades of hair and 6 colors for the hat. Plus it’s tintable!
Since there is a more limited number of gifts for the guys, I decided to show one more look. And believe me, there where plenty of other shapes and skins and hair to show! Look #2 is using the shape, also named “Quinn” from Stray Dog. I really liked this shape too. It’s much larger than the first and a bit more bulky. But if that’s your style, here’s your guy. Again, I felt the skin included was not quite my thing even though it’s a phenomenal design. It’s incredibly life like! So you may fall in love.
I added the T5 skin from Bold & Beauty to my new shape and I couldn’t be happier! Bold & Beauty‘s “Nicholas” is a gorgeous skin (and a great shape too). It comes in 6 shades with 3 versions each of dark brows, light brows and no brows. Alistar is wearing the T5 shade with light brows.
The new short hair is from Modulus so you know it’s quality! The “Lenny” hair base comes in 8 colors to choose from. If that isn’t enough, it’s tintable too.

I’d been dreaming of a seaside escape for weeks and Blue and I finally took a moment away from all the hustle and bustle of the real world and spent an entire day enjoying the sun, surf, and sand. For some extra fun, surf lessons. Blue took to the waves like a duck to water, while I was a little less certain! Either way, we still had an amazing time out at Kanaloa Surf Beach.

CCCCOOOOFFFEEEEEE! Is the only way for a college student to survive. It’s the pick me up, the all nighters best friend, hangover cure, and just what the Doctor ordered. Man did I need my morning pick me up after a long night of partying. I had to find something to wear of course, before I go out, and grab my morning cup of Joe. Friday the 13th is the perfect day to go camping, right? Surely nothing sinister would happen… I can just hear the iconic “something bad is about to happen” music starting to play! I love a classic horror flick, so when Blue showed me these Camp Crystal Lake tees by ZFG (Zero F*cks Given) I had to share them with you; today being Friday the 13th is just the icing on the cake.

Hello there, Fabulous Readers! The pupster and I took off for the desert this past weekend and had a blast. We dropped the old truck down into four wheel drive and made our own roads.
