I am an island.  I’ve built walls…..

I Think it’s Time for a Ray of Sun Shine

With my downcast mood, I felt like I needed some bright colors and lighthearted flowers to brighten things up, so I donned the Aya sweater from Luziefee.  Another free group gift for members of Fabulously Free in SL, this open cardigan has an adorable tie at the top to keep you modestly covered up, while it offers a tantalizing glimpse of skin below.  Golden yellow black-eyed susans bring a welcome air of cheerfulness to my outfit.  The texture of the white yarn is quite realistic looking, and the long sleeves come in handy to ward off the chill approaching in the deepening twilight hours.

Breakdown

Nothing but steam…

Ok, not the ideal place for my radiator to spring a leak, but I’m have to make due.  I saw a house a mile or so back. I could go there and ask for help, but it did look old and abandoned. maybe I should walk up ahead and made find some help.

Maybe I should have stayed with the car. The farther I walk the foggier it gets. Today I’m wearing the Wyatt Open Shirt a FREE group gift at Ashbury. The group is also FREE to join. I’m still wearing the Brooklyn Pants (with a different texture) from TentatioN  I modeled yesterday [HERE] along with the Barcelona Shoes by A&D Clothing.

I’m Seeing Stars

Is it summer yet? I really just want to sit in the sand and watch the boats go by!  Since it’s only April, and still freezing…  I’ll have to settle for some SL summer therapy for now.

I had time to grab a newspaper at the bus stop today to catch the latest headlines. There’s always something interesting in there, even if it’s only the latest sales advertisements. Speaking of which, I ran across advertisements for two group gifts that you won’t want to miss out on.

The 2017 “Flowers” FabFree Photo Challenge ends April 30th, so there are just three days left to get in your pictures… but there is still time for you to get your contest entries in!

We already have some amazing photos in the contest. Why not take a look at the FabFree Photo Challenge Flickr Pool at some of the great entries so far?!

Then charge up your cameras and head out into the flowers and get cracking and get those photos in!

If you haven’t already, take a look at the “how it works” then get those shots into the FabFree Photo Challenge Flickr Pool between December 1st and December 31st. Our winner and a runner up will be chosen as soon after as possible. Make sure that you have “FabFree Photo Challenge” somewhere in the title of each picture and at least one absolutely FREE item in your picture. Then, please be sure to credit the FREE item or items so we can include your shot in the contest.
