Bellisseria Road Trip – Day Two

 

It’s day 2 of my 7 day road trip around Bellisseria!  I decided that another casual and comfortable outfit was needed as I had a long day of driving and hiking planned.

This cute top was perfect to stay cool and hot at the same time (winks), it is a group gift from Parfait, which is 75L to join.  I am obsessed with these baggy jeans, and I paired them with some classic sneakers and off we went…

After driving for about for a few hours (30 RL minutes) we stopped for a bite to eat at Breezy Basin and hiked to the top of the hill to relax and enjoy the view.

While I am exploring Bellisseria I am not teleporting to any of these locations as I want to try to keep this as realistic as possible but as you know driving over sim crossings can get a bit hairy and I lost Clyde on my way to Breezy Basin so when I hopped out of my jeep, it was returned to my inventory and I was without transportation until I could find a rezz zone.  I teleported Clyde to my location and proceeded to walk to the next rezz zone which was about another 20 min SL time, but being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery that was created by the Linden Moles and the folks that live there was worth the walk.

I stopped for coffee at a log home that someone graciously turned into a Pumpkin Patch & Cafe, what a nice place to rest.

Finally after another 2 or 3 hours of driving and many turn arounds,  I reached my destination Campwich Lodge.  What a beautiful place to spend the night and rest up for tomorrows adventure.

Cool Emerald

I am not really good at hunts, I just don’t have the patience to look around and find all the goodies but the Vagrant Zerkalo Hunt was so much different.  You get hints on where the roses are and I need all the help I can get.  If I can find all the roses then anyone can and not only do you get great clothes there are also home decor items as well.

One of the free gifts are these great emerald jeans from Vagrant, with the chains hanging around my hip I felt badass so I needed a leather jacket and boots to complete this look.

A Vintage Vixen

Hello Fabulous Readers!  Have you checked out the Fifth Anniversary Celebration for Bundles yet?  This autumn-themed event runs through September 25th and features 31 designers, many of whom are offering gifts along with their displays.  I have to admit, despite my name, I do start longing for the crisp days of autumn as the heat of summer drags on.  What better way to anticipate fall than to wander around a sim drenched in scattered leaves and pick up free goodies along the way?

Gee, I Love this Blog!

Hey Gang!

It’s grey and gloomy as usual where I live so I am soaking up the sun in second life!  Time to put on a cute dress and take a nice walk outside in the sl air!  Ahhhhh.

So as I approach my six month mark here at Fab Free (yes six months have just flown by!  Don’t you agree?) I wanted to revisit a couple of my favorites that have  been blogged, make sure you haven’t missed them!  Cause they are both oh so freaking cute!!!  Squeee!

Gee, I love your hairdo!

Some of you may not be old enough to remember, but there was *actually* a shampoo once upon a time called “Gee your hair smells terrific!”  Literally!  They named it an entire sentence!  Things have gotten a bit fancier in advertising and naming of products since those days.  In second life, we never have to wash our hair, and we can change the style and color in the blink of an eye, so it helps when you have lots to choose from!  I’m wearing a free group gift from Kuni, that has been blogged several times before, including my me (in pink!), and you can click those below, if you want to see how it looks in brown or black, too!), but I just love the braid and the whispy bangs!  The group is free to join, so that makes this cute must-have hair a, well, a must-have!

Boho Fringe!

Springtime Swoon

Hey gang!

Shopping from Home: SL Style!

Hey gang!

As fun as it is to run ourselves ragged shopping like lunatics in world, there is a certain satisfaction in staying in the comfort and seclusion of your cozy sl home and scooping up bahgains anyway.  I’ve brought a handful of such goodies here to show you today.  (marketplace show n tell time kiddies!  woot!)  From clothing, to props to decor, you can find it all, and find it I did!  I spent a whopping (are you ready?) 134L and I got a dress, shoes, teacups with multiple poses and wall decor.

Lets begin with the dress.  I got this soooooper cute dress for only 65L from DejaVu Designs.  It comes with a HUD that has 40 colors and comes in these sizes:

These cute tiptoe sneakers, which I Lurrrrvvveee, come from ROC which has so many cute affordable shoes, I barely know where to begin (I have my eye on another cute pair I think I will scoop up next time and blog).  I got these for 49L, they come with a HUD that gives you 25 color choices so your cute sneakers will *always* match, and they fit:

Last but not least, see those totally adorbs string lights hanging on the wall behind me?  Those are from The Black Forest and they cost me 10L.  They are really sweet in person, especially considering the price.  1 prim for each “curtain”.

Road Trip to Nowhere in Particular

Hello hello Fab Free, I hope you’re all surviving first life well enough. As for Second Life, Blue and I decided to throw a few things in a bag and jump in the car for a much-needed getaway. Like most of us, we decided we could use a little change of scenery. This little diner was an impromptu stop along the way on our road trip to nowhere in particular. We got out stretch our legs, take in some scenery, grab a bite to eat, and of course take a few photos. After all, is it really a vacation if you don’t have a few social media worthy photos? Hah, just kidding.

The pose we used for this snapshot is a free Stay at Home Club gift from The Owl. This free couples pose by The Owl comes with pose balls and individual pose animations. No group is needed for the Stay at Home Club gifts. My t-shirt is a free Stay at Home Club gift as well. I picked it up at Sass. Alright Spring, Do Your Thing!

Hello Fabulouses!  I hope your Monday treated you well.  If not, I’ve got just the thing to cheer you up – how does a free outfit sound?  My jacket, knotted cropped top and leggings all came as a group gift over at the Scandalize shop.

Spring is in the Air!

Ripley and I took a trip over to the Fox Paradise sim and enjoyed the ocean view while we frolicked in the green meadow.  The Elva Outfit is just right for those early spring days where the morning starts out a bit brisk, but then temperatures warm throughout the day.  All three pieces are worn separately, so as the mercury rises, you can shed the jacket and just sport the sexy white top alone.  I love it when an outfit is flexible like that!  Speaking of flexibility, the package includes two different versions of the jacket (the blue one I am wearing as well as an all white one) and two variations of the leggings – solid white and ombre.  You even get a HUD with a ton of options for altering the color of the buttons on the jacket.  To pick up a copy of Elva for yourself, you need to be a member of the Scandalize group, which has a 100L join fee, but there is an entire wall full of gifts up for grabs, as well as some lucky boards, too.

Paw-sitively Perfect

While we were shopping at Grumble, Ripley wandered over and started sniffing a tiny little pet bed and bone, which just so happened to be the hunt object for the Puppy Love Hunt.  The hunt is technically over, but luckily for me, the prize at Grumble is still available.  For just one Linden dollar, I scooped up a bauble which was right up my alley.  If you like fur babies as much as I do, this paw print dangling from a silver chain might be the ideal finishing touch to your outfit.  Don’t delay, though, because I’m not sure how much longer this will be up for grabs!

My Valentine

Happy Valentine’s Day, Fabulouses!  As you can see, I’m spending the holiday in the company of my true Valentine:  Ripely.  I found the perfect clothing for today as I was moving along the trail of the Puppy Love Hunt.  For just 1 Linden dollar and a bit of time hunting around the Southern Sass shop, I came away with a complete outfit.  Now that’s what I call budget-friendly fashion!

Casually Cute
