It was all peachy and peaceful until 6:55AM… This is my morning routine, done most days like clockwork.
6:55 AM – (opens one eye and tries to muffle the sound of the alarm clock with a pillow)
6:56 AM – (smacks randomly at the night stand trying to turn off “Walking on Sunshine, WHOAH” – misses it and gives up)
6:57 AM – (buries herself under the blankets, head and all, trying harder to hit the snooze button… ahhh hits it! :))
7:00AM – (Alarm B goes off… groans into pillow and admits defeat – FINE!)
A few years back, after learning there is just no avoiding the routine, I started setting my alarm five minutes ahead so I wasn’t late. I believe I have scheduled myself 5 more minutes. Whatever works, I say! I haven’t had a new car since 2004. At least in real life. And even then I bought a used one. So when I heard that I could get a new free car at MadPea (even if it was a Pea Pod car) I was all in for a new set of wheels!
I made a mad dash to the MadPea main-store to check out the deal and it wasn’t long before I was cruising down the streets of Port Babbage in my favorite of the 7 colors that are available in the free gift pack. I was cruising down the streets (plus I wanted to give you a side view of this cute little pea-pod of a car – aren’t all the details amazing!) and ran across a little bakery shop. I decided to make a stop and get out of my new wheels and head in…
A spring dress.
