I’m feeling a bit playful today. It could be that I’m desperately trying to escape the monotony of the every day, or it could just be that imagined Spring fever is setting in. I say imagined Spring, because that season won’t be landing near me any time soon. I know I’ve probably said that a million times by now, but sigh. One does long for cherry blossoms!

Analogic has a new group gift – this top and shorts combo. It’s put me in the mood for Spring (as many, many things have recently). The bubble gum colours on the top make me think of cotton candy, and you can never have too many pairs of jean shorts. They can be worn separately, so you can play around with other items in your inventory too. Oh my goodness, FabFree. I’ve been to The Fifty, and it was glorious. So many free gifts from so many amazing designers. It was all I could do to plop myself down on the edge of my skybox and show you my spoils.

The Fifty event is celebrating it’s 1st anniversary! It feels like it’s been around longer. And in true SL style, that means free gifts for us! Lots of them! At every booth. There are a handful set to the wrong group, but hopefully that will be sorted out quickly. You just need to join the Fifty Linden Friday group for free and click on all of the purple envelopes outside of the booths. I got a bit carried away with the things that I’m showing here. The Fifty just opened, like four hours ago, so you might need to wait a bit for the crowds to dissipate a little. Don’t wait too long though, you’ve got until March 20th before it all goes away! This one is not to be missed.

Ari-Pari is rockin’ and rollin’ and has new hunt prizes out for the month of February. I blogged another one of their current hunt prizes here, and today I am showing another. I know you all love Ari-Pari‘s hunt prizes, so it’s time to show another one off.

Hey FabFree! I am hanging out at Sunflower Park, and remembering Free Dove once again. I didn’t blog Free Dove gifts very much in the past, so I have been trying my best to show my support for this fantastic freebiecommunity before it’s too late. Doves symbolize peace and freedom, so may she fly free as a dove and rest in peace. 🕊️
A New Friend
First off, the animesh Dove companion animal is a freegift from House of Fun. You can get it on the Marketplace or at their in-world store for free. This is a lovely momento to Free Dove‘s creator and their legacy.
Free Dove Goodies

This is a Free Dove tumbler mug from Star Sugar. It’s a bit hard to see, but it’s decorated with a beautiful design of doves and it says “Free Dove” on it.
My necklace is a small beautiful gold piece from Star Sugar that says “Love Doves” on the pendant- it’s shiny and elegant!
My pretty blue shorts are a gift from Paper.Sparrow. They fit Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Maitreya, Physique, and Venus. The shorts also include a colour change hud to change the colours of the ties only.
The see-through BOM top and undies are a freegift from Alaskametro. These BOM pieces can be worn separately as an outfit (as a bikini swimsuit), but I choose to wear them underneath some mesh clothing to create a unique look.
The pretty hairstyle is a free gift from Alli&Ali Designs. It includes a colour hud of variety colours and a style hud.
The rather revealing top is a gift from [WellMade]. It includes a HUD with 3 colours- black, brown and white. It’s a perfect top for summer outfits. It fits Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique and Hourglass.

I am not entirely sure what happened here. For all the bright happy colors and cute styling going on, things got a bit moody. It’s amazing the difference that lighting can make. Regardless of the fact that I am prone to the dramatic, I am wearing some very cute and very free things. Come along, I can’t wait to tell you about them!
Tie Dye
This latest group gift from Caboodle is seriously just too too cute. The Anne outfit includes the top and shorts as separate pieces in this summery tie dye pattern. They would be so easy to mix with other outfits but they also fit so perfectly together. How can we be expected to make such difficult decisions!? I love the sweet details on the shorts and the top is cropped just right. The Caboodle group costs 100L if you’re not already a member and the Anne outfit joins quite a few equally lovely group gifts on the wall.

Bright Stripes
The bright hair that I’m wearing reminds me of a mermaid and I love it. I got it from Nova. There’s a board at the front of the store with this and some other free hair just waiting for you. Nova is free to join and Ulia is a free group gift. It includes a HUD of other bright stripey shades to pick from. I have just a couple of things to mention:
Firstly, you’ll note the little wispy fly away strands around my face. Those are optional. I love realistic little details like that but you can leave them off for sleek smooth perfection, if that’s more your scene.
Also, this hair that I’m wearing is the middle gift on the top row of the board. The folder is labeled Tatum but inside is actually Ulia. You’ll certainly want to snatch up all the lovely free hair, just don’t be alarmed when more then one of them appear to have the same name, The contents are different. 😉
And that’s that. Off to see what other lighting I can stumble into.
