Hello Fabulous Folks! I got Kerydwyn out and about again today since she is rockin’ LeLutka’s last gift head, Raven and I saw that Sugar Riott has two very nice Group Gifts out right now, one for the Raven head and the Quinn head.
This is the “012” shape from Sugar Riott and you can get it for freewhen you join their free Group. This is a full body and head shape. It is modifiable. You will get a separate shape for Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya and Reborn. So it should fit you perfectly. One extra plus, the gift comes with a notecard for full styling including landmarks to the various merchants. I wish ALL designers did that for us!

Hello hello, Fab Fam! I hope ya’ll had a wonderful holiday with family and friends and fun festivities. We had a quiet little Christmas here at home but it was still a lovely time.
Now I know that the big day of gifting is over but we have SO many things still going on in SL. Like the 54 event headed up by LeLutka. See what I did there? 😛 As Ms Aline showed us, Lelutka is giving away two gorgeous full version mesh Heads: Raven and Quinn. And I got all inspired to make a totally FREE avatar with only things off the 54 list.
Remember our kids, Kerydwyn and Alistar from the “Makeover Mondays” posts? I rounded them up again to make fresh new avis! Let’s start with Kerydwyn since the list is mostly female oriented. As per last time, Kerydwyn is wearing the free version of the Legacy Classic mesh body and it’s the only thing I didn’t get off of the 54 Event list. I will be doing a guys only post tomorrow with Alistar using the 54 List.
Lots of designers are offering their take on the Raven head, in fact most of the skin gifts included their own face shape and brow shape. I picked the “Nicole” shape and skin from Clef De Peau. And believe me, it was hard to pick just one shape from all the gorgeous one on the list. The Nicole shape will shape your entire body not just the head for a nice cohesive look.
I also ended up wearing the Nicole “RoseKiss” skin from Clef De Peau made to match the Velour skin tones. It’s such a nice fresh faced skin with subtle details and a sweet glow to it. I did however love many of the other skins. There’s a skin for just about everyone here. From super vampire pale to deep exotic darks. In fact, Moccino’s gift is all shades of delicious browns and ambers and Nuve has ten fantasy colored skins too!
The body skin is from Velour and as always it’s a stunning creation. Velour is giving out full body skins for Legacy and Reborn. This is the “Venus Athletic” design body skin, “RoseKiss”. I love when designers collaborate and make for the shades offered by other designers. But, if you need a neck blender, I HIGHLY recommend the free fixes from Bold & Beauty which is another free gift on the 54 List.
EDITED to add -> I do apologize, the neck fixes are contained in the gift for “Nicholas”. While that gift is free, the fixes are designed for male skins/anatomy. So your mileage may vary
Now on to eyes. This is the “Mistletoe Collection” from Gloom. It’s a nice little fatpack of eye colors ranging from blue to brown and a neat half and half colored one. The gift includes BOM versions and appliers for LeLutka and Omega.
There are several designers offering hair bases for the List but my favorite is this sleek style from Not Found. This designer is offering a collaboration with Doux for this event. The hair bases lines up with a super long pony tail which you pick up at the Doux shop. As you can see, I skipped the pony tail and went with a sweet bow and bun. “The Gift Hair” from Studio Exposure comes with a HUD for 8 colors of ribbon and 33 hair colors for the bun. Plus you get the cute little flexi bangs too.
Last but certainly not least are the beautiful earrings from Andore. These are the “Igdry” set. In the gift you’ll find pairs for both LeLutka Evo X human ears and the Elf ears and a HUD to change both the gem colors and the metals. Not little HUDs either… HUDS with 7 metals and 10 colors of gems. There are also a pair of free Christmas earrings at Andore too!
So there she is! A full avatar for free! Now is a great time to get a top of the line mesh head and skins, shapes and makeup and hair from some of SL best designers. Lookin’ like champagne on a beer budget! The 54 Event requires you to join each designers Group to grab the gifts but all the groups are set to free. This is a great time to get in those groups that may be too expensive at other times of the year. And be sure to look around each shop. Many have loads of free group gifts out as well as the 54 List ones. I was able to pick up a ton of free eyeshadows and lipsticks as well as other skins.
And one last note. I did not edit the shape you see at all. I simply wore what the designers gave us. That said, the shapes are modifiable! So find one you like and use it as a base or a starting point to design your own look if you don’t like the “right out of the box” look.

As you can see, this little devil look I am showing tonight is a rather strong contrast to the cute and pink look that I posted yesterday. For the Love of Group Gifts!
I have two lovely group gifts to share with you tonight! These are both super cute in a devil-ish way.
First, KUNI has this great hairstyle out as a group gift. Their group costs 10L to join. The gift includes a style hud for the hair, as well as an extensive colour hud. The horns are included with the headband in the gift, but you do have the option to turn them off the hud making this a very versatile hairstyle! There’s nothing I love more than a hair gift, and this one looked somewhat new to me when I visited KUNI recently, so I had to show it off!
Secondly, Tutti Belli has an adorable pack of lipsticks out for free for group members of the SL Frees & Offers (SLF&O) group. The SLF&O group is always free to join. ❤ This pack comes in an HD applier for Lelutka Evolution, and it also works on EvoX heads.
Dark Inspiration
I have thrown in a few cute finds from FabFree at Fifteen into my post tonight as well. These items were the inspiration for my “little devil” look, as they are a bit punk rocker and dark in nature!

Escape the Ordinary
Escape the Ordinary Hunt is a hunt I had never heard of until now! This is the third year the hunt has ran, and it’s organized by Stuff My Inventory Hunts. The theme of the hunt is all things different and out of the “normal”. You’ll see a variety of odd items available on the hunt, so there really is variety on this one! The cute cabinets shaped like dresses with mice popping out of them are the hunt prize from MOoH!, under their MOoH! Stuff product line. The hint to find the prize is, “find me under a pillow pile in the mainstore!”. These are so different but very cute. Each prize costs 3 Lindens on this hunt. You can see a list of the participating stores and hunt previews here. The Escape the Ordinary Hunt 3 ends on July 31st.

Now it’s time to move away from those cute mice and focus on me. I completed my look today using goodies from FabFree at Fifteen. Here’s the list of what I used from the event to make today’s cute and pink look.

At {Poeme} Couture, I picked up their super cute and free gift for FabFree group members, which is this cute hairpin. The gift includes a hud that allows you to change the pin to 6 different mosaic patterns.
Eventyra has these cute nails out for 15 Lindens! The pattern of these nails is a pretty white butterfly overlaid over bright colours, and you can change them to several different colour options using the hud. The hud includes nail and toenail appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Slink, Cinnamon & Chai, and Omega.

You guys, I bought 3 new hairstyles this weekend. THREE! Somebody HELP! But they were all on sale, and I balanced them out with looooots of freethings…at least that’s what I tell myself.

One of the free things in evidence is this super cute swing, which is one of the new group gift from Reka Nutmeg. It contains a few poses each for girls, guys, and even a cuddle. Just simple, sweet cuteness. You can get it for free by joining the freeReka group and going to grab it in the store with the other freegroup gifts. I had forgotten how many top quality gifts this creator has out. There are some other really lovely things to grab up for free while you’re there!
Gloom
I popped over to Abstrakt to have a look for myself after I saw Aline’s post about the gifts there. You can see her post HERE, for all of the event details. I absolutely fell in love with this skin from Gloom. It’s a free gift at Abstrakt that you can pick up at Gloom’s booth after joining the free event group. It comes in a nice variety of shades (I’m wearing the beige) and with or without brows. The thing that gets me about Gloom skins is the little imperfections, like the slight shading under the eyes. It’s just done so well and gives it a touch of realism that makes me feel things. You’re probably thinking, “Oh my gosh, she’s getting all gushy about undereye bags” but seriously it’s just so very natural and pretty. Maybe it’s not the hair addiction that I need help for, after all…

A new round of Cosmopolitan started on April 4th, so I, being the responsible freebieblogger that I am, scampered over to see if there were new freebiesout. If you’re not familiar with this event, there are always two easels right when you walk in on either side of the doors that hold a freebieeach. All you have to do is join the free event group and snatch up each free gift. This round, one of the free gifts is this fantastic skirt. It’s seriously so well made and versatile. And now on to the bargain. Another good thing about Fridays, besides the weekend that follows, is probably my favorite of the weekly events – Fifty Linden Friday! I picked up this hair from Wasabi. I just love the high braided pigtails. It includes a few HUDs full of colors, several rigged sizes, and the bangs are a separate piece. Pretty good deal for only 50L, if you ask me.
