It’s grey and gloomy as usual where I live so I am soaking up the sun in second life! Time to put on a cute dress and take a nice walk outside in the sl air! Ahhhhh.
So as I approach my six month mark here at Fab Free (yes six months have just flown by! Don’t you agree?) I wanted to revisit a couple of my favorites that have been blogged, make sure you haven’t missed them! Cause they are both oh so freaking cute!!! Squeee!
Gee, I love your hairdo!
Some of you may not be old enough to remember, but there was *actually* a shampoo once upon a time called “Gee your hair smells terrific!” Literally! They named it an entire sentence! Things have gotten a bit fancier in advertising and naming of products since those days. In second life, we never have to wash our hair, and we can change the style and color in the blink of an eye, so it helps when you have lots to choose from! I’m wearing a free group gift from Kuni, that has been blogged several times before, including my me (in pink!), and you can click those below, if you want to see how it looks in brown or black, too!), but I just love the braid and the whispy bangs! I would like to introduce you to one of my best friends ever, Swara. We’ve been great friends in SL for a few years now and she is my #1 shopping and chatting buddie. The other day Swara and I decided to have a besties pool party! What a great way to start the summer season. We also found some cute freebies to share with you all that will kick off the summer just right.
Goodies @ Miix
The first thing I want to talk about is a great freebieavailable at the Miix event right now. Furtacor usually blesses us with wonderful gifts at this event every month, and they have done it again. This time, the freegroup gift designed for women contains holdable watermelon drinks, a Bakes-on-Mesh (BOM) bathing suit, and a purse. Swara and I decided to keep the purses away from the pool so our precious belongings wouldn’t get wreaked. We both decided to sip on those thirst-quenching watermelon coolers while we sunbathed in the pool! Swara is wearing the cute BOM swimsuit included in the package.
The Miix event ends on June 20th, so make sure you grab up the freegifts before they’re gone. They even have some free Spongebob Squarepants swimming trunks for men out for free!
My Pool Gear!
The bikini I picked for our party is from Ari-Pari, and it’s a 1 L hunt prize on the Summer Lovin’ Hunt 5. The hint for the prize is, You’ll find me near a hanging jade… not the gem! The ‘kini comes in 10 colours you can change via a HUD and it is sized for Legacy, Lara, Freya, Isis, Venus, Physique, and Hourglass.
I am also wearing several makeup dollarbies from Bellucci. My eyeshadow comes from their pride makeup set and the lipstick comes from the pack of Hidden Hills lipsticks. These makeups are appliers that work on Lelutka Evolution heads only, and they cost 1 Linden each.

I must admit that Swara is rocking it in this look! In addition to rocking that sexy swimsuit, her style includes the following freebies:

We’ve found our new blogger – and you may just remember her. I’m all about the vintage/retro stuff. Those of us old enough (cough!) to remember those days know they had a feel. The 70’s had a feel, the 80’s had a feel. Somehow once the 90’s started, the era’s started blending together (for me at least), they didn’t have *such* a distinction as the earlier decades (I’m barely old enough to remember the 60’s, but I know that and the 50’s, 40’s, etc also had a feel of their own).
So in my pic, I’ve got a bit of the sixties *and* seventies (can you distinguish?), thanks to the Vintage Fair! Which is a lot of fun by the way.
