In one of my previous posts titled “Bicycle Not Built For Two” I mentioned Bellisseria, where the 2nd generation of linden homes are located. This area is connected together by roads, railways and sea so you can travel from parcel to parcel without teleporting by walking, driving, biking and boating. This is day 1 of a 7 day road trip around Bellisseria. My traveling companion on this trip is my beloved dog Clyde.
I started my trip from my home and wanted to be comfortable as I didn’t know how long it would take me to find my camping spot for the night. I found these cute sweats for free from Blueberry, the puffer jacket is a free group gift from The Free Dove, and the shoes are a free gift from the Orsy event.
I drove for about 30 minutes (I calculate that is 2 or 3 hours in SL time) and found a great spot to rest and eat lunch. You can rezz a car or boat in this area, but be quick to jump in or it will auto return to you.
Another 30 minutes and a few dead end turn arounds later (SL GPS is not as good and RL) I found the perfect place to setup my tent and get some sleep before heading out for more adventures. You can’t rezz where I setup camp so I had to use items that you wear (moved around for pictures).

Hiya, New Year’s Day is a time of traditions and resolutions. LOL, like most folks who make those New Year’s resolutions mine are pretty much done for by March. However, the traditions seem to stay year after year.
Sneaking A Taste
Until my 2 of my 3 sons had married, and the last one left home, we had a tradition, my middle son is a New Year’s baby, so every year at midnight we would ring in the new year with birthday cake, and a very tiny glass of champagne. New Years Day I would be up with the sun spending my day in the kitchen cooking a brunch feast for those always hungry boys, while they spent the day in front of the tv watching football games. Jacx seemed to think it was a pretty fair idea to recreate a new year feast while modeling Meander/Me Bonfire Top. This wonderfully detailed cropped sweater is a free group gift. Lemania Indigo owner and creator of Meander/Me is known for using beautiful textures on all her creations. And body sizes oh my goodness there are a lot. Sad But True Tale
My beloved bright orange couch, could not co-exist with my overly formal living room. After decorating part of the living room shown here, Had to put it back the way it was, and take my fall show on the road, or in the case to the air. After finding a cozy skybox, I realized what was needed. Some new furniture, just as the need was great Trompe Loeil saved me. Cory Edo owner and creator of Trompe Loeil is extremely generous, putting out free items with no group needed. Breathe In The Crisp Fall
All seasons have different scents, my personal fav is fall, the windows are open letting in the breeze. Baking going on in the kitchen, apple crisp, and pumpkin pies and bread, filling the air. LOL, makes me hungry for those goodies just thinking about it. However the Breathe in this context is really about shoes, The Breathe group is still currently freeto join. Fabfree & Me
Happy Birthday to FabFree and Happy Rez Day to me. FabFree and I have grown up together since September 6, 2007. It sure has been an exciting and sometimes bumpy ride to get here 14 years later. About a week or so after Jacx was born, listening to music and dancing at my favorite club. I was talking about the struggle to find affordable clothing. When one of my new friends (a guy (LOL) Said to me ” I have this link for a blog where they show free clothes you can get.” This was my introduction to FabFree. From Farrah and Renee, to the lovely ladies of today, they have kept me and my ever expanding, out of control inventory (101,893 and rising) current with gifts, groups to join, awesome pictures to look at. What more could a girl who loves fashion ask for..

Hey gang! For today’s finds, I am taking you inside my humble abode, and also to our new Fab Free Headquarters! So travel around the grid with me if you will! We Fab Free sisters live and breathe freebies and deals so that means we use them in our little corners of the grid, just like y’all do! We try to set a good example by *trying* to live frugally! (not always easy! hee hee)
So, let’s get started, as I have a lot to show you. Above is my kitchen table area, I did this with a kitchen set from Careless (I didn’t even put everything out!) that cost me only 49L. It’s super cute and I added a couple of odds and ends from them too. The poses are great too, really well made stuff!
Below is my living room. My couch and chair are a set, also from Careless, but they are a group gift meaning they are free cause the group is free to join as well! If this color isn’t your thing, you guessed it, she has other colors for 49L! The cute Tulips on my mantle? 10L at Careless. The little trees with lights are from Caro Designe on market and you can get them for 50L.
Below you can see I used the little trees from Caro in more than one place, they are just sooo pretty! The pink Paris themed dresser with fairy lights? That’s one of my creations and you can grab that at Shanti for only 50L!
Here is another market find that I absolutely love, these little lantern lights from What Next. You can grab these on their marketplace store for only 10L! They are stunning, let me tell you! You can of course put them anyplace you like, I strung them along my fence by the pool.
Lastly, I don’t know how many of you have had a chance to pop by and check out the new headquarters yet, but in keeping with the fab free spirit, the house we used is of course free. It’s a free group gift from Greymoon Designs (who has adorable houses! I live in one (and own several! lol!), and the group is only 50L to join. When you join, you can grab a bunch of cute houses on the group gifts wall and here is the one we used (C-Side Cottage):

I’m all about the vintage/retro stuff. Those of us old enough (cough!) to remember those days know they had a feel. The 70’s had a feel, the 80’s had a feel. Somehow once the 90’s started, the era’s started blending together (for me at least), they didn’t have *such* a distinction as the earlier decades (I’m barely old enough to remember the 60’s, but I know that and the 50’s, 40’s, etc also had a feel of their own).
So in my pic, I’ve got a bit of the sixties *and* seventies (can you distinguish?), thanks to the Vintage Fair! Which is a lot of fun by the way.
