It’s been a while since I roleplayed my sexy siren! But I was inspired to bring her out of my inventory by a couple of beautiful 30L Saturday offerings today! Good evening lovelies! I think I have put together the girliest outfit I could imagine, complete with bows, flower prints, ruffles and lace. Would you believe, you can have all this girly-goodness for under L$40! Yes, really.
Let me start with my skirt, as I truly believe, especially from the backside, this is the star of my show…or should I say the bow of my show. *grins for a minute* My fabulous Gift Wrap skirt is from Promagic, and you can find this colour, and several others, on the Marketplace, for only L$10 each. It is mesh, comes in the standard sizes, and come on…just look at that bow! Love it.
Needing something as equally pretty for my top, I kept searching on the Marketplace and stumbled across The Sea Hole Outlet! Do you remember The Sea Hole store, I still have so many items from that store, and was bummed when it closed. Now, I don’t know if I had just missed seeing items from there on the Marketplace all these years, or if they were just more recently added, but you can find so many of those wonderful pre-mesh clothing pieces, and the prices are unbelievable! I picked up the Odette Bustier in the Rosey Real print, HERE, for only L$8. It is clothing layers only, sorry mesh body wearers, but for those of us still using system bodies, there is nothing wrong with a great quality, clothing layer item.
If you can’t tell, my inspiration for picking the specific colours I did for my skirt and top, came from these to-die-for shoes. Yup, they were the starting point for my whole outfit. My Lari heels are from a new-to-me store called BOOB-LiSH, and are actually a L$10 steal at The Dark Side event. They are meant for SLink high feet, and honestly, my picture does not do them justice, they are worth way more than the L$10 asked for. Let me warn you, I was late in heading over to this event, so you only have 1 day left to get over there, as this event ends tomorrow (Saturday, April 30th). It’s well worth the rushed trip though, as almost every store participating has a L$10 item out, and believe me, if there was more time, I’d show you a lot more.
I am managing to show off one other L$10 deal from The Dark Side. This time, it’s from *PB* Nails, and it is my Step Into The Light Mani and Pedi. I’ve included a shot of the ad to show off all the sweet colours you have to choose from for this SLink nail applier hud. They are perfect for Spring/Summer!
The one last item I wanted to point out, is my hair. If my hair in RL was just a touch longer, it could look just like the cute hair I have on here in SL. The Beusy June Gift is a complete fatpack of a rigged mesh hair, and you can find this on the Marketplace for only L$1. Seriously.
So, if you’ve been adding it up, my totally girly outfit is a grand total of L$39, and I think that is a heck of a deal. Even better, I did all the hard work of putting it together for you! LOL. Well it’s been one of those days Fab Free. I hope yours has been better! The good news is I did manage to pick up a super cute group gift from Paper Arrow Co. that I am eager to share with you. This cute floral crop-top is the most recent group gift at Paper Arrow Co. Paper Arrow Co. currently has 7 total group gifts available to all group members. The group has a one time join fee of 250 lindens. This FREE mesh top comes in standard and some body-specific fit mesh sizes. Pru is wearing the “MaitreyaBeta” fit and it fits perfectly with the Maitreya Lara body. I’m not sure what draws me to floral prints, but most of the time I just love them!
To go with this cute top I also picked up these sorta coral colored pedal pushers at Paper Arrow Co. They are the Fifty Linden Friday item for Today Only. So I know this is very short notice, but if you like them there is still enough time to stop by and snatch them up for just 50 lindens. It’s Friday Fab Free’rs and I couldn’t be happier! Though the week went by quickly, for me anyway, it was still quite a week. Thankfully I have my excursions in Second Life to relax and enjoy some “me” time. While on said excursions in the world of SL, I came across the Sanarae event, and the many Lucky Boards there. As mentioned in my previous post, the free-to-join Sanarae group is required for the Lucky Boards. This adorably flirty dress from a shop called Sorbet is one of the many lucky board gifts at Sanarae.
I love love love the rock-a-billy pinup look to this dress! I really can’t say anything negative about this fully mesh dress. The colors are great, and I really like the flare of the skirt. This dress by Sorbet is honestly my personal favorite of the FREE Lucky Board prizes at Sanarae.
To emphasize the rock-a-billy part of this pinup look, I picked up the April group gift from EMO-tions. This retro pony with bandanna and rolled bangs is just too perfect. The EMO-tions group is FREE to join, making this fun hairstyle FREE as well. It comes in the blonde tones, and 4 color options for the bandanna. This sassy hairstyle by Love Hair is a FREE Lucky Board prize at the Sanarae event. This cool casual one-piece is a FREE “tester” outfit available at Beautiful Dirty Rich. It is a wearable demo that allows you to test out the colors of the clothing at Beautiful Dirty Rich. They’ve begun a new “mix and match” system allowing customers to mix and match the colors of some of the newer outfits. This tester outfit gives everyone the ability to really see how the wide range of colors look once worn. I think this idea is really fantastic, and the outfit is really cute too! This FREE wearable demo comes with a fat pack of appliers in every color available. It also includes classic system layers in every color. The colors shown are white, grey, black, jet black, and red. There are so many ways I think this one-piece is truly wearable. I like it as-is, but it could easily be worn with a skirt or under some cute running shorts for an athletic look.
