Hey FabFree! I have some pretty free decor gifts to share tonight, as well as a modern concrete house for only 75L. I’ll tell you all the details on how to get these great items!
Breakfast, Moodboards & Blankies
First, I found a whole bunch of gifts at Nutmeg. You just need to join the free “Reka Updates” group to get them all. Click the “join group” sign and it will send the correct group joiner invite. All of the group gifts are near the group joiner. I am showing the following group gifts in my post tonight:
The “Breakfast in Bed” gift is a delicious board of coffee, eggs, cream, sugar cubes, roses & pears. This is one of Nutmeg‘s newer gifts. It’s so exquisitely detailed and romantic.
The “Framed Paintings” gift includes two pretty framed paintings of flowers. This is a new gift as well, and perfect for stacking against walls.
I also included one older gift in my scene. Nutmeg has a pack of all past group gifts from 2020-2022 available as well. In that big box of free past group gifts, I found a really cute gift called “Moodboard”. The moodboard is a large clipboard with pictures and cute sayings on it. It’s super adorable. Two versions of the board are included in this gift, and you can find many more free gifts inside that large pack of past gifts!
A Concrete House…
The background of my scene is a “Modern Concrete House”, which is currently on sale for only 75 lindens.
You can see views of the outside and inside of the house below. It’s a concrete home with some nice spaces for decorating. It is available at Noveny for a limited time for 75L. Fall is my favourite decorating season. I put up a little autumn gallery made up of art I picked up at the Fall Festival, a fall-themed event that is running until October 1st at Malus Park. On Me
My outfit is a freelucky board prize at Shanti. No group join is required to play the boards. This prize is called the “Upside Down Bohemian Outfit”. This is a Stranger Things reference for all the fans of the popular supernatural 80’s-era Netflix series. The set includes a top and skirt which can be worn separately. The outfit is textured with a black and white pattern which looks perfect for Halloween coming up! It fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Ebody Classic, Lara, Physique, Legacy, and Tonic Curvy & Fine.

A Cabinet of Curiosities
The first scene I created with these great freebies is a Cabinet of Curiosities, which can be seen at the top of my post. For those who haven’t heard of them before, a “Cabinet of Curiosities” or “Curio Cabinet” was a collection of strange and bizarre objects, artifacts, and furnishings that wealthy people used to collect in Europe in the 19th century. Pretty cool! This is not a true curio cabinet, but in the spirit of SL19B’s steampunk theme, I wanted to at least reference my favourite historical time period and throw in some steampunk decor and skulls into the mix. If you didn’t know already, I am obsessed with that time period and the steampunk subculture is connected to that. The free exclusive steampunk gifts [QE Home] has out at their SL19B booth are:
A free steampunk painting with a thick wooden frame. You can change the frame and the canvas to six different options using the artwork’s menu when you click it.
The steampunk rug set is also free, and you can change the textures of the rugs to several different options using the rug’s menu when you click it.
Coastal Decor
The other scene I created from these great home and decor gifts is this little coastal decor arrangement.
There is a free banana plant in the gift pack. You can change the colours of the pot and the plant leaves using the objects’ menu when you click it.
The lanterns are both free and come in a set. You can change the colour of each lantern to aqua or coral by using the objects’ menu when you click it.

Aline recently posted all the details about the Second Life birthday celebrations here, so make sure to check out her post. SL19B is officially open now, so all can teleport in (if you can make it)! As you may know, every booth has a freegift and there are 20 sims and 400 stores this round. Personally, I went about it by starting at the Zinnia region in the northwest corner and move clockwise to complete the event rejion-by-region. Here’s a map of the 20 regions that Dreamer’s Virtual World posted on their blog if you need a reference point! Use the “World Map” to track your progress and this map will come up on your screen; you will see what direction your avatar is moving in with the map open. This one will take you a while!

Sad But True Tale
My beloved bright orange couch, could not co-exist with my overly formal living room. After decorating part of the living room shown here, Had to put it back the way it was, and take my fall show on the road, or in the case to the air. After finding a cozy skybox, I realized what was needed. Some new furniture, just as the need was great Trompe Loeil saved me. Cory Edo owner and creator of Trompe Loeil is extremely generous, putting out free items with no group needed.
