Hey FabFree! I have some pretty free decor gifts to share tonight, as well as a modern concrete house for only 75L. I’ll tell you all the details on how to get these great items!
Breakfast, Moodboards & Blankies
First, I found a whole bunch of gifts at Nutmeg. You just need to join the free “Reka Updates” group to get them all. Click the “join group” sign and it will send the correct group joiner invite. All of the group gifts are near the group joiner. I am showing the following group gifts in my post tonight:
The “Breakfast in Bed” gift is a delicious board of coffee, eggs, cream, sugar cubes, roses & pears. This is one of Nutmeg‘s newer gifts. It’s so exquisitely detailed and romantic.
The “Framed Paintings” gift includes two pretty framed paintings of flowers. This is a new gift as well, and perfect for stacking against walls.
I also included one older gift in my scene. Nutmeg has a pack of all past group gifts from 2020-2022 available as well. In that big box of free past group gifts, I found a really cute gift called “Moodboard”. The moodboard is a large clipboard with pictures and cute sayings on it. It’s super adorable. Two versions of the board are included in this gift, and you can find many more free gifts inside that large pack of past gifts!
A Concrete House…
The background of my scene is a “Modern Concrete House”, which is currently on sale for only 75 lindens.
You can see views of the outside and inside of the house below. It’s a concrete home with some nice spaces for decorating. It is available at Noveny for a limited time for 75L. You will find it near the Ebento Weekend sale signs. This was the sale item from last weekend, so it will be taken down very soon before next weekend. Go NOW to get the good deal!
Enjoy, FabFree!

Hey FabFree! This is my favourite time in SL to go around to spooky sims and events, pick up Halloween freebies, and put fun costumes and Halloween decor scenes together. It’s time to decorate the house for Halloween, and I have a few cute free gifts shown in my “Halloween Haunt” decor scene.
Spooky Balloons
Aline blogged all about the 2022 Halloween Shop & Hop in her post here. I have just one free gift from the event to show you today. Remember that we have been covering this event in the past week, and we will continue to cover a lot more gifts from this massive Halloween celebration throughout the month of October.
The Halloween balloons shown in my decor scene are a free gift from Noveny @ the Halloween Shop & Hop. These balloons come in an assortment of spooky carved faces on orange and white balloons. These are super cute and I love the concept of balloons that look like little spooky pumpkins. Everything at the Halloween Shop & Hop closes on November 1st, so you have time to finish the event if you haven’t had the chance to go yet!
Halloween Hangout
I was really happy when I found out that Dench Designs signed up to be a FabFree designer last summer. They always have amazing home and furniture items, and their latest FabFree group gifts are no exception! One of their latest gifts can be found at the Dench Designs Halloween Store, which is right here. The gift is a “Halloween Hangout”, which includes some haystack seats to hang out with your friends, a wagon, pumpkins, fall leaves, a black raven, and a Halloween night lamp. What a fun name for this great gift! I set the “Halloween Hangout” set out in front of my haunted house. This gift is a free FabFree group gift. The Fabulously Free in SL group is always freeto join.
Also note that Dench Designs has a second freegift for FabFree group members at their mainstore as well, so make sure you grab that gift too!
Now go have some fun Halloween adventures, FabFree!

Well, I’ve finally taken a break from the FabFree anniversary posts, but I imagine it will be a short one. I had to get a word (or many words) in about what is going on at Raindale this month. This is a long one, so grab a tea and come sit.
What’s up?
Raindale released information to their group members earlier this month that there’s going to be a lot of changes happening in their store. Due to unfortunate circumstances and political issues that I will not go into detail about here, the creator has not been able to withdraw funds from their SL account to real life. While the designer was able to make a living off creating products in SL previously, this is no longer possible due to this issue. As a result, Keira Raindale has decided to scale down their store and turn their business into more of a hobby. The store is not closing, but at least half of the products at the store are retiring. Raindale is going to transition their store to focus on creative projects and “fantasy and whimsical items” in the future. The creator described this transition as “more of a fresh start, as it will benefit everyone, with more gifts, affordable products and charity projects”. If you would like more information, you can find a detailed notecard about the store’s transition in the Raindale group notices.
Please try to support this creator in any way you can. There may not be much we can do, but we can show our support and let Raindale know how much we appreciate their beautiful creations. Right now, Raindale has a number of awesome things going on which you can go do to show support for the creator and I’ll walk you through them now.
Retirement Sale
Raindale is having the biggest sale in their history until August 6th. All products are discounted 20% off in the store and retiring items are reduced up to 50% off. In August, the store will close for renovations after the retirement sale is over. This is what Raindale states about the sale in the group notices:
“Over half of the products will be gone soon! The outlet will be gone too – get those old products while you can! Since SL is now just a hobby, I’m getting rid of most of the “modern” and older items, and going to focus on fantasy and whimsical stuff in the future. The store will be closed for renovation in August! Some retired products may return in some shape or form, but it’s not guaranteed! And some unmarked products may be gone too, so get anything you need till the sale is over!”
So stock up while you can, because a lot of these items will be gone for good very soon!
You can show Raindale support by joining their group. Group members of the Raindale group will receive 250L store credits until the end of July. The VIP group currently costs 250L to join, but it is so worth the join fee, and you will see why as I show you all the great things you could buy with the store credits and the wonderful gifts they have available at the shop. Raindale group members also receive 15% back from their purchases in store credit.
Get it Before It’s Gone
In the decor scene shown at the top of my post, I am showcasing an amazing house that can be purchased with the 250L store credit at the retirement sale. The beautiful “Gracewoods Teahouse” is the building in the centre. This was previously from the Gracewoods gacha, and it was a “rare” item. The house now costs 160L on the retirement sale for the copy version, leaving you with some additional credit to spend at the store. You can find the teahouse in the Raindale Outlet. The Outlet will be closing when this huge sale is over in August, so this is your last chance to get items like this and anything else in the Outlet. Any items marked with a “Final Sale” tag at the Raindale mainstore are also retiring and may not re-appear ever again. If you want them, now is your time!
Wanderlust Weekend
The pretty water fountain shown in my picture at the top is Raindale‘s current offering for Wanderlust Weekend. You can get 3 colours of this fountain -white, pink and mint- for only 50L on the sale for a limited time. The fountains come with sound on or off versions and the sounds are very relaxing. This has been out for a couple weeks, so grab it while you can at an amazing price!
There is also a huge wall of past group gifts out for Raindale group members. I have added some of those group gifts into my teahouse and garden scene, including:
The canopy tent with pillows, which you can see next to the house on the grass.
The grasses with fairy lights are a group gift. Inside the package, two sets of grasses are included. This was a past hunt prize but it’s now up on the group gift wall.
The ladder with lights, which is resting against the side of the house, is another group gift.
The room divider inside the teahouse is from a past holiday gift.
The table spread with tea cups, cakes, macarons, candles and flowers, which I placed inside the teahouse, are still available for Raindale group members. This entire set comes from the package called “5th Anniversary Gifts”, a past group gift at the store. I thought the tea set matched the teahouse theme perfectly! ☕
June Group Gift
The June group gift at Raindale for VIP members is an exclusive summer collection available for a limited time, which you can see in my photo below. It’s amazing. The collection includes the octopus pouf, the beach ball, the coconut cocktail, the stool, the torches, the swim ring, and the board. 5 signs, including this “Summer Time” one are included. This set is so cute! This collection will not be available after the gift is gone and it is an exclusive made only for Raindale group members. This gift will be available until the end of July. The creator was so kind that she kept it out an extra month longer.
Finally, don’t forget that Raindale is also participating in FabFree at Fifteen the items they have available for the event are absolutely amazing as well. Aline blogged all of those free gifts and promotions earlier this month HERE. Make sure you check out Aline’s post, see all the good deals available, and show your support for the store!
Thanks for reading.

This scene has some serious Nightmare Before Christmas vibes, with its references to the work of the artist and filmaker Tim Burton. I put my own spin on his creations though, by inserting myself in my “Vimperella” costume. I even invited Zero (the ghost dog featured in the Nightmare Before Christmas) along for the photoshoot. Yeah, I’m still not really over Halloween and one of the reasons I always loved that film is because it allowed me to keep experiencing Halloween (my actual favourite holiday) at Christmas time when I was a child! Here’s a toast to the Nightmare Before Christmas!
Near the End
Time to get to the gifts! I’m at it again with blogging some of the prizes on the FabFree Fallen Leaves & Frost Hunt. Today I’ll be showing you a sleek pair of boots and a full Tim Burton-themed scene including a house and other decor on the hunt.
The great pair of purple peep-toe boots I am wearing are a free hunt prize rom NoShot. I just love these boots, and they match some of my favourite outfits. It addition, NoShot has some more prizes for women, which can be seen in their hunt key here. They also have some gifts for men that were previously blogged by Gabe here.

Burtonesque
Now here is the feature for today- almost everything you see in my “Burtonesque” scene are prizes on the FabFree Fallen Leaves & Frost Hunt at Kim’s Kreations. You can see them in both photo’s I’ve posted today.
The prizes are:
A large Burtonesque-style house with cobwebs hanging off of it.
A striped black and white pumpkin with a white pumpkin set. (Beetlejuice, anyone?)
The flat black stylized tree- another creation reminiscent of the artistic style seen in Burton’s films and artwork. This piece also includes little black and white striped bats.
A “witch planter” which has the legs of a witch sticking out of a pot.
The dancing dolls- these are creepy dolls with button eyes that spin around and dance together. They are quite magical yet scary at the same time!
Hey gang! For today’s finds, I am taking you inside my humble abode, and also to our new Fab Free Headquarters! So travel around the grid with me if you will! We Fab Free sisters live and breathe freebies and deals so that means we use them in our little corners of the grid, just like y’all do! We try to set a good example by *trying* to live frugally! (not always easy! hee hee)
So, let’s get started, as I have a lot to show you. Above is my kitchen table area, I did this with a kitchen set from Careless (I didn’t even put everything out!) that cost me only 49L. It’s super cute and I added a couple of odds and ends from them too. The poses are great too, really well made stuff!
Below is my living room. My couch and chair are a set, also from Careless, but they are a group gift meaning they are free cause the group is free to join as well! If this color isn’t your thing, you guessed it, she has other colors for 49L! The cute Tulips on my mantle? 10L at Careless. The little trees with lights are from Caro Designe on market and you can get them for 50L.
Below you can see I used the little trees from Caro in more than one place, they are just sooo pretty! The pink Paris themed dresser with fairy lights? That’s one of my creations and you can grab that at Shanti for only 50L!
Here is another market find that I absolutely love, these little lantern lights from What Next. You can grab these on their marketplace store for only 10L! They are stunning, let me tell you! You can of course put them anyplace you like, I strung them along my fence by the pool.
Lastly, I don’t know how many of you have had a chance to pop by and check out the new headquarters yet, but in keeping with the fab free spirit, the house we used is of course free. It’s a free group gift from Greymoon Designs (who has adorable houses! I live in one (and own several! lol!), and the group is only 50L to join. When you join, you can grab a bunch of cute houses on the group gifts wall and here is the one we used (C-Side Cottage):
(btw the umbrella shaped lamp is from LISP Bazaar and is only 50L on market!)
The landscaping I used is mostly from Lunaria and the trees with sparkles in them are both free group gifts from Lunaria and that group is free to join. I love her stuff!
PS Don’t let Aline fool you, she did half of the amazing decorating too! It was an awesome team effort!
Well there you have it gang, another Caroline style post from me chock full of fab free style goodness!

It’s Sunday Funday, Fab Free! It’s the perfect day to do some gardening, and potter about in my little English cottage. Well, I mean…it’s probably the thing that people do who own cottages and like to garden. I, on the other hand prefer to just sit back and admire the blooms while talking airily about how wonderful the petunias look. If you’re like me and you like to hang out in gardens boasting about the work you did without ever really having a speck of dirt under your nails, then I’ve got the perfect deal for you!
Enjoy the Harvest
It’s time for another round of Syndicate Sunday! This month, Harvest Moon have put out this super adorable cottage and garden set out for only 69L! The entire set is super adorable, and comes complete with a really bright garden, several large trees, potted plants and an extremely livable cottage that it is more than just cute. You have the choice of just rezzing the cottage, or both the cottage and garden. The cottage has a Land Impact of 163, whereas both cottage and garden come out to 350 Land Impact. Rezzing it out was simple as anything, and I was well impressed with how it all looked that I was quite reticent to put it all away! To get yours, head on over to Harvest Moon – this deal for Syndicate Sunday will only be out for the week, so don’t delay! There are other great deals for you at other participating shops, so make sure you take a look at the Second Life Syndicate website!
Happy Gardening!

It’s not often you get the chance to own your own Underdark, especially for the price of just 1L. Zyn is offering their Mini Underdark Skybox on the Marketplace for just that! 1L and it’s yours. It’s only 47 prim and it’s rather detailed, with multiple cavern rooms, a water pool, stalagmites and stalactites, mushrooms, lanterns, and more. The picture above is taken in part of one of the detailed caverns!
Ahhhh roleplay…
Roleplay is one of those fantastic past-times in Second Life and it’s always fabulous when you can come across some great gifts to add to your wardrobe. I stopped by the Menstuff lounge and there is a large assortment of menswear currently out that you can pick up for your one-time fee of 50L to the Menstuff group. Among the items was this “Morris” outfit. It’s really just a regular every day outfit, but since it doesn’t have any zippers and with the right accessories, I managed to turn it into a medieval one! It comes in a variety of mesh body sizes.
Outfit sizes available:
Classic XS-XL + alpha
Belleza

The details make the man
It’s the details that make this outfit work as a roleplay outfit. I stopped by Noble Creations and picked up some “details” to make this into a roleplay creation. The Noble Creations group is free to join and these gifts were free to pick up. I picked up the Prince in Leather neck piece to add over the top of the Morris shirt. I also picked up the Medici Pouch belt to add to my waist. Take note… this belt fit a little funny at first. I had to edit it to my shape, but it comes with a handy resizer that allows for resizing on all axises separately for a perfect fit!
The L’Homme Gift.
I think the L’Homme group gift from Noble Creations really makes this outfit. It’s a set of horned Bracers and Pauldrons that really stand out. You could add some weapons to this outfit to complete your look. Perhaps a shield and an axe or a sword and you’d be ready to go warrior! As always, the L’Homme group is free to join so this gift is free as well!
Happy roleplaying!
