The spooky season is officially here, FabFree. I am E-X-C-I-T-E-D. I’ve been pumping up the Halloween vibes at home by watching lots of scary movies, and I just can’t wait to dig into the scary and cute Halloween items this year! All About Bats

The cute little bat necklace I have on only costs 10L in Poeme’s booth at the Into The Woods Cart Sale & Hunt. I just had to have it because it was too cute. This little accessory will go well with any Halloween outfit you have picked out for this season. The bat on the pendant is black, and the necklace is silver. There are lots of other free gifts and 2L hunt prizes at this event, so go check it out. This event closes on October 31st, so you have quite a bit of time to do it still!

The Doe Street Sale Rages On!

Another great find I have to show today is a great hairstyle from Doe. This one is called “Autumn” and I’m in love with it. It includes a stylish fall hat, and there are fallen leaves on the hair as well. You can colour the hat and the leaves to different colours using the accessory HUD included with the style. I got the “flux” version of this hair, which includes several natural colour options with highlights. There is a tint hud included with the hairstyle as well, which I used to tint my hair a bit more red. This hairstyle only costs 75L on the Doe Street Sale. Please note that the creator of Doe is having this sale to raise funds so that they can move safely and support their family, as they were recently evicted from their home in real life. Autumn Mood

My full fall Autumn mood mode is on, FabFree. I’m just waiting for the colourful leaves to start changing while I sip on a warm Autumn drink. Tropical Autumn

I am slowly playing around with introducing a dark autumn vibe in my photos. You all know I love spooky season and it’s starting to creep up on us just a bit! This look is a bit of a mix of summer, autumn, and darkness, so perfect for where we’re at right now at this time of the year.

Just a Spoonful of Sugar For Me…

The Spoonful of Sugar Festival just recently began, as it opened on September 3rd and it closes on September 18th. You only have about 10 more days to check out this great event, and they have a whole lot of stuff to check out!  There’s so many different parts to this event! Most importantly, this event is a benefit/fundraiser, as most of the sales from the event and 100% of the proceeds from hunt (note that it is a paid hunt with a 500L fee) are given to Doctors Without Borders. You can read more about the Spoonful of Sugar Festival on their website here. As you walk around the event, check the tags on the items to see how much of your funds will be donated to the cause.

Today I am showing a 10L outfit from Ari-Pari at the Spoonful of Sugar Festival. Just pay the sugar bowl/coconut drink object 10L in their booth at the event here and the outfit is yours. This 10L item is not part of the hunt and anyone can get it for 10L. The outfit includes a colour hud that lets you change the base of the dress to 5 different tropical patterns, and the ruffle skirt to 6 different colours. 100% of the proceeds for this item goes directly to Doctors Without Borders. If you go around the whole event , each booth has a 10-20L item in each booth in the sugar coconut bowls, where 100% of the proceeds go to the cause. Changing of the Seasons

Hey FabFree! I can’t believe spring is already over and summer is here… it’s time to move out of these spring clothes and get ready for summer fun! I am soooo pumped for July – you don’t even know how much. The FabFree@15 Event is coming on July 8th, and part of the reason I’ve been posting so much in the last week is to I can prepare to blog our first event! I’m so excited for this summer! So, now I’m back with new post, and this time it’s to show a free hairstyle and some free makeup to keep you going until the event starts. 😉

It’s time to show more free hair from the Hair Fair! I am wearing the free gift from Ade today. The “Lia” hairstyle includes a style-changing hud, different sizes to accommodate different head sizes, and several colour huds. Here’s a fun BOM tip! Make sure that you apply the eyeliners after the eyeshadow. You always want to “layer” your BOM layers on top of each other. You can also re-arrange them by “editing” your outfit and moving them up in the order you want them to appear on your avatar.

The Queen in Her Kingdom

There’s only two days left of Fantasy Faire, and I poked around the various regions of the event to look for gifts. There are some out, but they are a bit tricky to find. One I found was this free animated golden flower, which I thought was gorgeous. The item is made by Gabriel, and it includes the hand pose and light orbs that float above it. You will find it for free near the landing of the Tenpayo region here. It all ends on May 18th, so go soon!

Queen Natalia

Now it’s time for the feature of my post today, which is this beautiful “Natalia” skin for Lelutka EvoX heads. This is a free gift from ItGirls. I am wearing the skin in “Rose”, but it comes in a fatpack of other dark and light natural shades. Each shade also includes the lovely dark eyebrows.

For this particular EvoX skin, you will need to own a Lelutka Evolution head. All previous Lelutka Evolution heads have been updated to EvoX, so be sure to click the update button in your head folder if you haven’t had the time or interest in updating yet. EvoX is a bit of a learning curve, but I recommend it because the skins are fabulous! Once you have your EvoX head, just click the “EvoX” button on the HUD to put your head in EvoX mode, which allows you to use more detailed skin and makeup options.

Once this is all done, you will notice that with the free skin from ItGirls, that the ears and face skins are separated. You need to wear a separate tattoo for the ears. So you then need to find the matching ear skin to go with the face skin. All of the face skins and ear skins are included in the free gift from ItGirls. You can also get a pack of free EvoX ear skins, which is available for all to get on the front desk at ItGirls.

What about that sneaky neckline?

I’m sure some of you have noticed that nasty neckline that can pop up when you wear an EvoX head skin that doesn’t include a body skin. Not to fear, for Velour is here. Velour has a package of free ear skins and neck fixes for EvoX heads. To get the package, look on the front desk to get the pack for free. No group join is needed. The neck fixes work perfectly to blend the ItGirls skin with another body skin. I am currently wearing a body skin from a different creator entirely, one of 7 Deadly S[K]ins‘ BOM skins in the Caramel tone, and it blends so smoothly! These neck fixes should work with any companies that use Velour tones in their head skins and you should have few problems wearing the head skins with a different body skin.
