Today I am bringing two items from Fabulously Free’s Birthday Event. The first is this beautiful set of bow jewelry that I am wearing and the second is the cheerful flower field I’m standing in. And now that I’ve called them “first” and “second” I’m going to confuse you and talk about the second one first! Dr. Seuss is in the house.

It’s Officially Open!

Aline recently posted all the details about the Second Life birthday celebrations here, so make sure to check out her post. SL19B is officially open now, so all can teleport in (if you can make it)! As you may know, every booth has a free gift and there are 20 sims and 400 stores this round. Personally, I went about it by starting at the Zinnia region in the northwest corner and move clockwise to complete the event rejion-by-region. Here’s a map of the 20 regions that Dreamer’s Virtual World posted on their blog if you need a reference point! Use the “World Map” to track your progress and this map will come up on your screen; you will see what direction your avatar is moving in with the map open. This one will take you a while!

So PINKI. has done it again and captured my Heart with these cute little fluffy Bunnies! For L$1 on the Marketplace, this is a cute steal! Nymph or Dancing Girl?

I always feel like it’s pretty special when I can find gifts to put together a free roleplay outfit. Especially one that I feel is top quality. I’ve already shown you some of the great gifts to be had at the Gacha Garden in my posts here and here, but I wanted to make sure that I put together a roleplay look when I discovered that several quality roleplay creators were involved in the event!

Nymph or Dancing Girl?

I’m not sure if I feel like a Nymph or a Dancing Girl in this silk and chains outfit by Broken Style, but I do know it is beautiful. This free gift at the Gacha Garden by the Broken Style gacha machine includes a skirt and top that are separate and come in one Maitreya Lara size.

The top includes the mesh arm wraps that move beautifully with your avatar (I didn’t have any clipping issues at all) so they would be perfect for dancing and they worked great with my Animation Override. The detail on the chains and the breast plates is simply stunning.

The Tattoo…

I picked up the free gift bag at Fallen Gods and saw that it was a tattoo and wasn’t sure what to expect… and then I was blown away at how beautiful this forehead tattoo was. I was even more thrilled at the fact that it is a full fatpack of colors — 19 colors in fact. You’ll get system layers if you are still rocking your system head as well as Omega appliers for mesh heads. I found it easy to apply the tattoo to my Catwa head. (Color shown is “blood.”)

The Crowning Glory…

Near the Kite gacha machine I picked up the free gift and it gave me what became the “crowning glory” of my outfit… this flowered crown of roses. Inside the free gift package is three different colored rose crowns: pink, rose (shown), and white. So you’re sure to find a color to match other roleplay outfits as well as this one. It was also easily editable to get it to fit with my head and hair. I just stretched it a bit and adjusted it and voila, it was perfect!

Still Unpacking!

With 61 gifts at the Gacha Garden, I feel like I can’t possibly show enough to do them all justice… but as I was unpacking some of them this morning, I realized that there were so many beautiful home and garden gifts for creating a relaxing outdoor area that I didn’t want to neglect the “stuff” portion of the gifts. So while I want to show off a few fashion items today, Today’s post also features quite a few decor gifts as well!

New Tresses, glasses, & a bracelet

In the picture above I want to first mention a few things in the close-up. You’ll need the Gimme Gacha group tag to pick up these free gifts, but the Gimme Gacha group is free to join, making all of these gifts free!

First is my pretty tresses by Ayashi. These free locks have an anime feel, you’ll get a fatpack of cute colors, and they include kitty cat ears that you can hide or unhide (I chose to hide them for my picture). So this hair is great if you want to use it for a Neko or other “kitty” style.

We must be on a sunglasses kick here at Fabfree because I found these Sunglasses as the free gift near the Sweet Lies gacha machine and I knew I had to have them. They are very oversized when you first put them on but are modifiable. I did some stretching here and there to make them work for me, but you might like the oversized look. I love that the creator left them modifiable so that they are so easy to make fit to your avatar!

Tie it with a bow… on your wrist! At the Breathe gacha machine, this pretty free bow tie bracelet bangle was the gift and you get it in both black and white to match a variety of outfits. I was pleased with the pretty feminine look!

One more…

The last fashion item on my list is this sexy little mini dress by Entice covered in cherries. It’s the free gift by their gacha machine. In your gift package you’ll get fitmesh, Maitreya, and Slink Hourglass & Physique fits for mesh bodies. It even has a little white bow at the cleavage to match the bracelet I showed you in the picture at the top!

Flowers have a way of cheering me up. And I love applier clothing. And when I ran across a chance to use both in a post, I was very happy!

Dressed in Red

I was perusing the list of stores for the Addicted to Appliers Hunt and ran across JellyRoll on the list. You might remember my post here that showed you some great free gifts from that store. I just knew I had to find out what they had out as their hunt gift!

JellyRoll did not let me down! Their 5L hunt gift for the Addicted to Appliers Hunt is the beautiful red silk dress shown above. You get an omega applier that applies the top and bottom layer and then a mesh skirt panel that comes in all the standard sizes for a perfect sleek fit. It’s simply stunning!

Flowers too

NSP Florals put out an August group gift that was too pretty to pass up. If you missed it, I blogged the July group gift here. So though there is a 125L group join fee, you’ll be getting beautiful monthly group gifts to make it worth joining. This month was the Delphinium Bouquet.

In your gift package you’ll get two bouquets… one with and one without a hold animation. For my picture I used the bouquet without the animation and used a pose I already had. However, the bouquet with the hold animation is very nice and the hold animation works well with most Animation Over-rides as far as I can tell (I tried it out with several of mine including Oracul and Vista). This is a gift well worth picking up!

Bike-Riding Attire

Hello FabFree! *Waves!* I’ve been busy moving in real life to a new house and it’s kept me away (and very busy). I just put the finishing touches on my new kitchen! I moved from an apartment to a house and now have a back yard! I’m so excited! My new neighborhood has sidewalks that are great for bike riding, so I thought a bike ride in second life would be perfect to commemorate my return to FabFree after my hiatus! I found this quaint neighborhood with a bike rezzer and took a ride!

Feeling Lucky!

I guess it was my lucky day at Graffitiwear as well! I won both this shirt and these shoes on “lucky” items. The shirt is from the Group Only Lucky Board at Graffitiwear. The group is only 5L and gives you access also to a Midnight Mania Board as well as a monthly group gift, so it’s well worth joining. My letter came up and the Silk Top was mine! It comes with a color change hud that includes 8 different textures. Sizes included: Standard Mesh XXS – L and Maitreya.

I also took a dive into the free Lucky Dip and came up with the free pair of bunny shoes you see in the picture! How cute are these! You’ll get them in black and white both, as well as fits for both Slink and Maitreya feet!
