I was pretty sure I was dying or at least I wanted to die. Of course, I had to share it with the poor husband. So there was much plague on my household. I have survived but the coughing is still killin’ me. Bleh… anyway
SL has welcomed me back with one of my favorite events: The Arcade! And there are several interestig machines this round like this cozy winter cowboy set from Meva. This is the Ashton outfit in beige. It also comes in black, brown and white. I wasn’t lucky enough to pull the beige version of the comfy pullover so you get to see the white version. I love the shearling along the vest’s collar and just the overall western feel to the set. And at 75L per play it goes easy on the wallet.

The Arcade
I love The Arcade, and I know I say it every time a new round comes around. I loved me some gachas, so the system the Arcade has been using now that gachas are defunct is a good replacement for that little thrill of excitement I used to get when I played. Plus, you must admit it is a bit more budget-conscious. You get to see which prize is next to come out of the machine, and it still comes with a lovely price tag. I played the Ricielli machine (you can learn all about how to play HERE) for just 75L per play, and I ended up with the rare jacket and this lovely cream coloured dress to go with. Colour me pleased. The Arcade is running until December 31st.

I was going to offer you a drink, but it seems that I’ve decided to keep it for myself. Come, I’ll tell you where you can get your own…as well as a whole lot of other pretty things!
Firstly though, we should address the elephant in the room. There was an accident…with a blender? So you probably don’t want this drink that I’m holding anyway. Or maybe I should just say that a vicious wolf attacked me in my youth. Yes, let’s go with that. Way more believable than the blender thing.

I love adding little imperfections to my looks. In a world where everything can be perfect, what fun is it to be perfect? Or at least that’s my warped logic. Regardless, this time of year is great for me because things pop up on the grid for Halloween that I can wear all year long! My goodness, will she ever get to the point? Yes, here it is now… Izzie’s set out a fantastic free gift at their mainstore. It’s right up front on the counter and it’s “Free Lelutka Evo X Updates.” Inside is 4 separate gifts. I’m wearing the gloom eyeshadow which comes in a whole lot of opacities and a whole lot of colors and the aged claw scars across my eye in various stages of healing. There’s also a wicked looking bloody claw wound in a handful of options and an entire set of aged scars that is so incredible. The box is there freeand no group join is required.

I also went and visited The Arcade. This is such a fun event and there are so many great designers participating. I picked up My lingerie set by Dhoma. I just happened to get lucky and the next two items when I was there were the corset and garter, both in Ivory. I purchased them for the Maitreya body but there were others available, too. I grabbed my drink at The Arcade as well. It’s by ChicChica and I’ve been carrying it around the grid with me for days. The attentive reader may have noticed that Aline had a similar one very recently. Did I covet hers and was unable to resist getting one of my own? Did I forget that she’d already shown a similar drink? There’s no way of knowing. But hey, after you grab yours we can be margarita triplets! Fall is my favourite decorating season. I put up a little autumn gallery made up of art I picked up at the Fall Festival, a fall-themed event that is running until October 1st at Malus Park. On Me
My outfit is a freelucky board prize at Shanti. No group join is required to play the boards. This prize is called the “Upside Down Bohemian Outfit”. This is a Stranger Things reference for all the fans of the popular supernatural 80’s-era Netflix series. The set includes a top and skirt which can be worn separately. The outfit is textured with a black and white pattern which looks perfect for Halloween coming up! It fits Freya, Isis, Venus, Ebody Classic, Lara, Physique, Legacy, and Tonic Curvy & Fine.

When the gacha ban came into effect just over a year ago, I was pretty bummed. I loved playing the machines and getting fun prizes. I understand that I played with considerable restraint (1 or 2 pulls per machine for the most part), and for some it became a bit of a problem. So, I get it. But… I missed that fun. I’m glad that The Arcade found a way to continue that fun while making the process a bit more transparent. To play these machines, just attach the HUD and connect to any machine at the event, and you’ll see which items are up for grab next, so you can decide if it’s for you or not. I had a crazy dream last night! I was all dressed up for a Christmas party and I had this amazing Peppermintini to drink. I took a sip and suddenly I was in Wonderland! I was on a giant chessboard and the glitter on my gown was animated and sparkling!!! It was a really cool dream! Perhaps I had a bit too much to sip on while baking those cookies!
Oh wait, you can do all these things too (drink peppermintini on a giant chessboard while wearing an animated dress! It’s second life!!!!)

Holiday festivities continue! I’ve been working hard in my little kitchen trying to make some cute Christmas cookies that don’t look like a lunatic decorated them. I think they are coming out all right. Whew! It’s work! But it’s fun. Now it’s time for a hot chocolate break.

My hot chocolate mug is from The Arcade, made by Movement. I was lucky and scored the rare on this one, and it is overflowing with yummy Christmas-ness. I think it must be straight from Santa because it says “Ho ho ho” on the cup. Either that or someone thinks I have a much more fun social life than I actually have! *snort!*
The machine is only 50L a play and there are so many cute holiday mugs. You get one to hold and one for decoration.
Sweater Weather
In real life the heat in my apartment stinks. You click it up to high but the baseboards stay ice cold, and just sort of come on randomly much much later on. I think the complex controls them and they just put a switch to make us think we do. So I am always cold. That leads me to loving a nice snuggly sweater both in real life and second life, like this super cute one from VISion, which is a free gift at the Winter Shop & Hop. They have three designs, all very cute.
There is no group needed to grab the Shop & Hop gifts, you just need a free afternoon to run around and grab them all. It’s much quieter there now that the rush is over, so it’s a nice relaxing stroll now.

I’m still out here being the trouble maker that I am. Mainly because I found *the* most funnest (its a word!!!!! lol) thing ever! Fluffy Stuff has, well, basically a snowball fight that you can buy and it’s still on sale from SoKawaii Sunday yesterday for only 65L! Not only does it give you some cute poses, but when you go into mouselook and aim, you can throw snowballs at things and people and anything! There was no one around so Santa got hit quite a few times. I really got sidetracked playing with this. Lots of fun!
I’ve also still been stalking The Arcade, where I got another pair of these super cute fluffy boots from Gild (mens and women sizes, one size fits each) for only 50L a play and also this awesome jacket and leggings by Amias, which is 75L a play. I’m wearing the Maitreya size.

I don’t know about y’all but I’ve just about run myself ragged! My little holiday helpers and I have been hard at work putting up the tree and decorations as well as the usual chores like laundry and cleaning before the holiday! We are all pooped. Why, even the little man can’t stifle a big yawn! (and one of the pups found some nice toasty laundry fresh out of the dryer for his nap!)
It’s been a super busy weekend, so it’s time for a little nap for the pups and some chill time for me. There will still be plenty to do before the holiday, like wrap gifts and bake Christmas cookies, etc etc! So, its not a *new* group gift per se, but it was so fun to pull out of my archives this year and it is still available, and that’s my santa hat from Jian, which of course, in Jian style, is not without some cute! It’s got a sleeping puppy in it! Sooooo Squeeeee-able! For the cat people out there, the gift also comes with a kitten version.

Careless, whom we have blogged before has their entire line of furniture totally freeat Communal Bliss. I’m showcasing one of the pink sofas, behind me. I do confess I scooped them *all* up so I can change my decor at will! All the items are freeand there is no group needed.
