Milk Shaking It Up

The good news is we now have another outlet store on the grid. The Designer Outlet is a monthly event running from the 7th of the month through the 28th of the month. 42 shops are involved, with scads of bargains to be had. Jacx while looking over the new event, picked up the Cotton Candy Milkshake from BananaN for just 39L. I just love BananaN, they make wonderful items with a special touch of whimsy, that is just adorable. Hat’s Off To Truth

Or in this case, might be better to say hats on to Truth. Knowing my love of hats, Truth just made my week with his newest creation. It was a case of love at first sight, LOL. The Meadow hairstyle is just 50L. for FLF. The Essentials pack includes a hud with single colors, 2 colors, and style changes. Also included in the pack is the accessory hud, with 12 color changes for the hat, and 8 color changes for the band. Sad But True Story

Telling tales on myself. 🙂 That doesn’t happen often. On New Year’s Eve, some of us Fabby Girl got together to play board games and chat, just have girl time. We are all sitting at the game table, and 3 of the lovely ladies are holding these sparklers, poor Jacx didn’t have said sparkler, so there she sits like a lump on a log, while the other 3 fashionistas are sparkling like nobodies business. LOL. Arielle has a picture, maybe you can get her to share it on a post in the future. Needless to say, the next day first thing Jacx went and got said sparkler, so she too could sparkle and shine.

As usual, I digress from the point of this post. Tutti Belli a rather new store to me, is giving an awesome New Year gift, 800L. store credit. Hiya, don’t know about you all, but I am a major list maker. Lists for what I am going to post, lists for grocery’s, lists for what I am cooking for food for the coming week, and the daddy list of all is…..

The Never-Ending To-Do Lists

The endless list of things to do, cleaning, laundry, shopping, you name it, I might just have a list for it LOL. There are post-a-notes all over my tv that I use as my monitor, there are stacks of small legal pads with lists. New Year Brunch

Hiya, New Year’s Day is a time of traditions and resolutions. LOL, like most folks who make those New Year’s resolutions mine are pretty much done for by March. However, the traditions seem to stay year after year.

Sneaking A Taste

Until my 2 of my 3 sons had married, and the last one left home, we had a tradition, my middle son is a New Year’s baby, so every year at midnight we would ring in the new year with birthday cake, and a very tiny glass of champagne. New Years Day I would be up with the sun spending my day in the kitchen cooking a brunch feast for those always hungry boys, while they spent the day in front of the tv watching football games. Jacx seemed to think it was a pretty fair idea to recreate a new year feast while modeling Meander/Me Bonfire Top. This wonderfully detailed cropped sweater is a free group gift. Lemania Indigo owner and creator of Meander/Me is known for using beautiful textures on all her creations. And body sizes oh my goodness there are a lot. The hud for the Bonfire top is a generous 13 color hud in rich fall colors. I would like to thank our sweet Miss Caroline for letting us know that the Meander/Me group is now free to join, and she showed some really fun items from the shop here. Sweet Delights

Hiya, this year’s advents have been spectacular in the way of awesomeness. The gifts just keep on coming, getting better and better each day. I would like to thank all the wonderful creators in SL, for being so generous, with the gifts and their time, making this truly one of the best Xmas seasons in SL.

Teddy Bears are a thing again in SL. Or should I say plush toys, I love how SL does as RL where fashion runs in cycles. My favorite cycle is BOM, I just love BOM especially for tops. Lucky for me MOoh has provided this advent some wonderful BOM tops, on 2 different days, Day 16 BOM Sweater Color comes in 4 basic colors (shown). Day 19 is shades of grey colors. Adding to the outfit, MOoh advent day 22 Carol Leggings Winter, seasonal print thermal type pant, with the 4 basic colors plus black. This outfit is just perfect for sitting having cocoa and opening gifts. 🙂 You can obtain these past advent gifts for 25L. each, not sure how long the past gifts will be available so act quickly.

Back with another Santa hat, lol. I do love hats, and I enjoy getting in the spirit of the season. What makes it even better is now more often than not the hair and hat are combined, so much easier, and wearable. Today’s hat & hair combo comes from No Match, the No Chimney hair is the new Dec. GG. This gift has options, male or female, blonde, red, black/white, brown, and even unicorn hair colors. The hud also has 6 colors for the hat. The hair is free, but the group is required, the group join fee is 50L. Tucked in a corner of the store you will find scads more group gifts.

Jacx has found the most perfect festive sweater, just the right touch for present opening and lounging around after sharing drinks and stories with your loved ones. At the Veles sim right next to this year’s advent, several creators have put out past advent gifts that you may purchase. There are some totally awesome finds for not a lot of lindens.
