Eclectic Essences at Kustom9

Hello Fab Free’rs I hope you’re doing well. It’s been a minute since I did some gacha-ing and there are several cute gachas waiting to be played at the current round of Kustom9. You know I can’t resist skin gachas, and especially not when the Essences gacha is set at 75 lindens per play. Also, ieQED has some sweet summer bangles at just 29 lindens per play.  These gachas are really just two of many but they caught my attention first! haha

This beautiful skin is one of the 12 Arwen gacha prizes from Essences at Kustom9. These gachas include Lelutka head applier only. Matching body appliers can be found for sale at the Essences main store. Of the 12 total versions in various skin tones, 10 commons and 2 rares. Pru is wearing the Arwen #9 which is one of the common prizes in the dark01 tone. I personally rarely wear the darker tones, but when I tried this one on, it was just too pretty! It really is a beautiful skin. It also looks lighter or darker depending on your windlight settings, which really just makes me like it even more. At just 75 lindens per play, if you’re a Lelutka head wearer, you need this skin or one of the other equally beautiful versions in your inventory!

I was so excited when I saw that ieQED had a gacha at this round of Kustom9. These bangles are so cute, and are the type of jewelry you could wear with anything. The ieQED gacha is just 29 lindens per play. The rare gets you a color change hud, I wasn’t so lucky, but I’m thrilled with the three bangles I did get. How cute is that pineapple?! Truly I feel like these little “eclectic” bracelets capture the fun of summer perfectly. There are 10 total bangles, and the rare hud will give you the option of picking between 5 metal tones and 6 gem colors.

The Devil Inside

One of the things I like the most about Second Life is the ability to change your appearance at will. Today I was feeling a little bit more sinister, a little more goth than usual. Thankfully I’ve come across a few items that let me show off that darker side without breaking the bank. Now I get to share them with you!

It all started with this fun little “in store” hunt going on at FormaNails. I say “in store” but really, all the hunt objects are hidden outside on the grounds surrounding the store. Before I get into the hunt prize, I want to tell you a little about the hunt its self. I really enjoyed this one. Outside the FormaNails main shop you’ll see a small display where you can get a FREE hud. This hud needs to be worn with permissions granted to complete the hunt. There are 10 hidden objects to be found throughout the grounds. The hud I mentioned keeps track of which items you have found and which ones you’re still hunting for. Cool, huh?! The objects themselves will teleport to a new location once they’ve been “found”. So you may come across the same object a second time. Once the hud shows you’ve found all 10 objects, you return to the display outside the main store and click inside the phone booth. Then the folder with the hunt prize will be delivered to you. I have to say, what made this hunt so fun is that the grounds are really whimsical and interesting to explore. There are lots of imaginative things to do and see, I even bungee jumped while hunting!

The FormaNails FREE hunt gift is a set of bejeweled brass knuckles. The detailed set is unisex in that it includes a male and a female version, also both sets come in gold, and in silver. The female version is set with little rubies and pearls, while the male set has iron crosses and skulls. The knuckles are worn on one hand, and are able to be sized via touch menu. Though the knuckles did not appear to have been made to fit a specific set of hands, I was able to adjust them to suit my Maitreya Lara hands with some re-sizing and some manual re-positioning. After seeing the knuckles from FormaNails,  knew I wanted to do something a little bit goth and perhaps playful, then I saw one of the gifts from a shop called This is Wrong and knew exactly the look I was going for.

This lace neck corset by This is Wrong is really beautiful on. It comes in 3 colors for the boning, black, green, and red, each with black lace. This FREE gift fit my Maitreya Lara body without any adjustments, which was a pleasant finding. The group for This is Wrong is FREE to join as well, making this lovely gift absolutely FREE. Each version has an Omega applier, and a matching classic system layer. I tried on all 5 versions, and they are a must have for any goth girl, even if you’re only goth part of the time like me!

Celestial Empire

Hello again Fab Free’rs! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend, mine was pretty awesome. As with most shopaholics, my inventory is a hot mess. Yesterday I realized that I had picked up the May group gift at Empire, but never opened it. That happens more often than I would like to admit. I did notice however that the May group gift is still available to all Empire VIP group members, and the shoes are gorgeous so I decided to share them with you today. It’s Gonna be a ShuShu Summer

Hi There Fab Free’rs! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you’ve all been having a fantastic week. My week just got a lot better, I found some gorgeous new swimwear at  ShuShu that’s completely FREE. Now I have an excuse to spend the weekend at the beach! As if I really needed an excuse.

The first, one pictured above, is a one piece swimsuit but the design makes it appear a lot like a bikini. It is my personal favorite of the two because of the black and white design and cute ties at the hips. This swimsuit from  ShuShu is completely FREE, just click to “pay” the vendor 0 lindens. This gift doesn’t need a group either, so anyone can pick it up. It comes in several mesh sizes, and includes an alpha layer for non-mesh avatars.

The second FREE swimsuit at  ShuShu is this pretty bright magenta colored bikini with a sort of disco style draped top.  Like the other swimsuit this one is also fully mesh and comes with alpha layers. I was honestly pleasantly surprised at how well the bikini fit. I will mention however that both swimsuits are very low cut on the bottom, so just be aware of that. I think both swimsuits are serious head-turners! There’s also an equally cute group only bikini gift at  ShuShu that I’m not showing, you’ll find it in the same area as these freebies.

Chain Your Head, It’s Cute!

Hiya Fabulous Folks!
