As we head into the start of a new week I’m all about some self care. I’ve decided to make some time for things like a little yoga and some meditation in my regular routine. For me there’d be no better spot for some restful mental zen than a quiet spot on the beach. It’s a good thing Luas put out this cute yoga mat out as their new group gift just in time for my rekindled dedication to mental clarity.

Lastly, you can’t go to the beach without sunglasses. Or at least you shouldn’t if you ask me. lol These cool aviators are a Marketplace dollarbie by NecoT. They come in 3 variations, a cool yellow color, a mirrored black, and this transparent black pair. They are also 100% mesh, copy, and mod so you can customize the color of the lenses and frames yourself if you want to. Needless to say these are well worth the 1 linden.
I don’t know about anyone else, but my Second Life summer is shaping up extremely nicely. As everyone knows by now I’ve been hitting the beach every chance I get. Thanks to Paper.Sparrow’s new Dog Days Hunt, I get to look extra cute while keeping my toes in the sand.
The Dog Days Hunt is an in-store hunt at Paper.Sparrow. There are 18 total hunt prizes at 25 lindens each. The hunt prizes include several tops, skirts, shorts, a dress, swimwear, shoes, and sunglasses. I paired together the top to the grey floral bikini with the blue floral Jesse shorts, and the tropical sunglasses v1. The Dog Days Hunt at Paper.Sparrow will last from now through the end of July. It’s swimsuit season and I’m all for it this year. I wasn’t kidding when I said I have been seriously enjoying some of the island life here in Second Life. That said, I was super excited about Bombshell’s free gift at FaMESHed. This gorgeous bikini comes in this patterned version shown, and a solid version in the same baby blue color. To get yours, you’ll need to join the FaMESHed event group, which is free to join. Then just click the gift box while wearing your group tag. There are a few free gifts at this round of FaMESHed, but this one is my personal favorite. Enjoy!
Yellow, it’s a vibe for me this summer. I just want to be warm, happy, and someplace sunny! I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I was honestly surprised at how much I like this free top only because until now Aquara is not a brand I was familiar with and I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s super cute on, and the textures are really nice. This halter top is a free group gift, and the group is free to join at this time. It comes with a color/texture hud that has 8 choices. It also has a separate hud for tinting the top any color you want. There are a few things I wanted to note about the packaging and the hud. First, the package says “Maitreya” on it, but don’t worry there are more sizes. Second, the color/texture hud when first attached will show you the Aquara Marketplace page. I was confused at first! lol There’s a tab on the side however that when clicked will take you to the color/texture choices.
These capri style jeans with rainbow pockets are the free Stay at Home Club gift at Aurora’s Closet. I wanted something new and cute to go with my halter top, and these capris fit the bill. These free denim pants come in black and in blue for extra versatility. Overall I was pretty pleased with these. They are a great addition to my closet and you can’t beat the price!

MMmmm smell that salty air and feel that ocean breeze. Nothing like getting out of the city and to the coast. Here in Second Life that is. I took Pru on a little seaside retreat to get outta the house. We needed a change of scenery and to be free of the fur babies for a while. As the sun came up, I let her sleep in. I took a walk down to the nearest coffee shop and got us both a refreshing cold brewed boba treat from Movement.
Man Cave Anniversary Gifts
When on vacation no matter how short you gotta look the part. My outfit is composed of Man Cave Event Anniversary gifts. I couldn’t pass up sharing them with you guys. The black sailor hat is from a store I never heard of before. Honor, it’s a cool looking brimless cap with a nylon look. The slick short barely shown Roy Hairbase is from Not Found. My head skin is Drake by Stray Dog in tone 04. The sweet lined cut bread is from OKARA. The trending porn stache Mustache is from none other than Mister Razzor. This cool oval shades are made by Decision and come with a colour changing HUD for all the parts. This nautical type necklace, well choker comes by way of Lapointe & Bastchild it’s unisex. Even the ladies are welcome to grab it and wear it. Ascend has this nice draped shoulder shirt that comes with a 10 colour changing HUD.
I’m not usually one for wearing tattoos. When they’re free and look this good, I had to tell you all about it. The tattoo “Hidden Inside” comes in an appliers HUD for Omega, Belleza, and Maitreya. There is also a TMP installer. IDTTY even included BOM layers as well. The pearl type bracelet is by Dope+Mercy. It comes in white and black for both wrists. We all know this store is great with accessories.
I know by now your eyeing my shorts. These well textured colored summery shorts are named Issac, and they are made by Cubura. A great addition to your summer look. Lastly my brightly colored sneakers are from Betrayal. You get a fatpack of colors for both men and women. Teleport on over to The Man Cave Event, join the free group, and click them beer cans. Helllooo Everybody!! I gotta say I have been thoroughly enjoying all the tropical locations Second Life has to offer. I can’t help but smile when enjoying all the amazing scenery. It’s also perfect for snapping selfies, and before anyone comes at me for being vain I think selfies are all in good fun. I like the idea of celebrating feeling good about yourself. So take some selfies! haha That said, I definitely enjoy this bright colorful look. The top and shorts are a Pride themed group gift at Seniha, while my tattoos, sunglasses, and bubble tea are all free gifts at ACCESS.

My cropped top and short shorts are a recent group gift at Seniha in honor of Pride month. The Seniha group is free to join at this time and there are multiple group gifts available. This particular gift includes the top and shorts in several sizes, and a color/texture change hud for the top The hud includes 25+ solid colors for the tee with rainbow/love themed graphics to choose from. The shorts have the rainbow paint smear in the front, and a cute rainbow peace sign on the back pocket.

It’s hot out there and sunglasses are one accessory I can’t get enough of. These bold bright red “Superior” shades are the freeACCESS group gift by HXNOR. The gift requires the free to join ACCESS event group tag. These glasses also happen to be unisex and have resize scripts for easy fitting.
Dappa
Dappa put out these cool mandala-like sleeve tattoos as their free gift at ACCESS. This detailed tattoo spans from shoulder to fingertip is also unisex. It comes in several appliers as well as classic/BOM layers in a faded and fresh look.
Lastly, this yummy bubble taro bubble tea is courtesy of Cubic Cherry. It is their free gift at ACCESS. It comes with a left and a right held version, a mouth attachment, and a display version.
