Hello again, my FabFree Fam. It’s once again turned cold and rainy here in my real world. So finding Spring on the Grid was a true mood saver today. I wanted nothing more than to wander meadows soaked in sunshine and dancing with butterflies. Even if I had to conjure my own! 😉
Enhancing my meadow wandering mood is my new very Elven looking dress. You may be familiar with it if you are a fan of the “Poet’s Heart” shop. Poet’s Heart has so many beautiful fantasy oriented gowns and outfits… I may have run a bit amuck. But the gorgeous green Aerin is so perfect for the time of year, isn’t she?

Today I am celebrating in style in this “lots of pink” look at one of my favorite locations for taking photos: Luane’s Magical World. I thought it would be the perfect place for taking unique photos on this lovely sofa with poses from Gᴏi (goizane) of Fashiowl. You can see more poses using this set below, which also includes the champagne flute prop and a cell phone as well…on sale for only L$60 this weekend! There are 12 bento poses total in the sofa with an adjustable option for each. The individual poses are also included separately and a pose stand! Did I mention all this for only L$60? I found the perfect sneakers to go with my outfit from Baby Monkey. They are a past group gift and are now available for only L$10 on the second floor in a multi-vendor. They are for Maitreya and Slink feet.

Hey FabFam! I’m just taking a stroll with a new friend from the deep blue sea today. ‘Cause that’s what ya do, right? Dive in… merMAID a friend… make some waves? LoL okay, okay.. enough ocean puns. I’ve spent much of the afternoon here in Atlantis, shopping the Guild’s Atlantis event and collecting shells for the Half Time Hunt. And I can say this is one of the prettiest most professionally done SIMs I’ve had the pleasure of exploring! Even if you don’t want to get your Mermaid on… you should drop in just to see it!
However, if you do decide to participate in the Half Time Hunt, you will not be disappointed with prizes like the super cute outfit I’m wearing! This is the Ponn Dress from Cubic Cherry and you can get it for free when you hunt down 100 pts in sea shells for the Hunt.
Ok… a quick explanation. To do the Hunt you need to talk to “Kitter” who will explain everything in detail.
Then just grab the HUD and go around the SIM to find sea shells and star fish and collect them. You simply touch the shells and the HUD counts them for you. One tip, stand as close as you can to the shells before you touch them. If you cam on them from too far, it won’t count the shell and you’ll not be able to count it again till the next day. Once you have a bunch of points, go into the prize room and pick your prizes. I only needed 100 points to get this cute dress. Some prizes “cost” more, some less.
Fifty Linden Fridays has consistently been one of my fave events for… well, forever. They’re celebrating 12 years of amazing and high quality items for small prices with the fabulous FLF Backyard Birthday Bash! I’m so excited I can barely contain myself. It just opened today, and there are so many pretty and affordable things to show off!

Ok, so you may have to be a bit patient to get in to the FLF Backyard Birthday Bash, understandably it’s a very popular destination today, but don’t fret – it’s going all the way until September 3rd, so plenty of time to grab the deals. Here are the lovely 50L items I picked up today:

Halloween may be over, but I just had to show of one more great Halloween find. I found these cute tights for freeby Fu, who runs the shop Funny Honey. The tights come in six different colors with both BOM and Maitreya appliers. You can find them at Cafe Nekodamari. (there are also matching mani-pedi set with Maitreya applier for free at her Funny Honey main store.) These Tara Heels by Dore Papillon Boutique complimented the tights perfectly and were another free gift from the Halloween Sales event running until November 4th.
If you haven’t had your fill of the spooky, Necrotize, by the Second Life Syndicate is open until November 20th. The theme is Cyber Horror and the free gifts are all in creepy alien eggs in front of the vendor’s booths. The crop top I am wearing is a gift from Ramen from the event. Second Life Syndicate is also hosting their own hunt called Halloween at the Headquarters, and all the prizes are 0-10L. The Crucible tattoo from Cubic Cherry (as seen first in this Fab Finds post by Ailne) was free.
