Hi there Fab Readers! I was able to come up for some air today during the busy holiday season and thought I would stop by the blog to let you know that 1 Hundred has set up a late display at The Wash Cart Sale! Better late than never right?
You still have a week to stop by the display and see all of the 10L sexy offerings, but tonight I am lounging about in the Simple Sleepwear that is available on the cart in a package of two colours (pink and sky) for 10L. They do come with a teeny pair of panties, I guess I was feeling shy! It comes with a HUD that is compatible with a ton of mesh bodies, but also comes with system layers too in case you have not jumped on the band wagon yet.

While the holiday season is quickly coming to an end, there are still gifts out there for you to go and grab, that are not themed to a specific holiday, so you can still get away with wearing them. Another thing that will be coming to an end, but maybe not as quickly, is the Wash Cart Sale. My outfit today is a fine example of a holiday gift you can still grab, and a great staple every gal needs in her wardrobe, from the Cart Sale.
First off, is my sweet, cozy sweater. It is a free for everyone gift from Neve, which used to be coldLogic. This mesh sweater comes in all the standard sizes, as well as sizes for Physique, Isis, and Lara bodies. You also get a hud that has a few different options on it. The main part of the sweater comes in 4 colours, I’ve added a picture below to show you them, as well, you can choose the colour of the under shirt that is peeking out from the waist, and at the sleeves. Or, if you’d like, you can turn the undershirt off completely. So many options! I’m really not sure how long this gift will stick around, so if I were you, I would not wait to go grab it. Just buy it for L$0 and you are set!
Now, the item I mentioned, that should be a staple in every gals (and even some guys) wardrobes, a great pair of neutral toned skinnies! My lovely grey skinny pants are courtesy of the Off Your Rocker Cart at the Wash Cart Sale. Of course, these mesh pants comes in the standard sizes, and for only L$10…what a steal. The texturing is superb, with little wrinkly details, and the cutest little zippers at the ankles. I am going to get a lot of wear out of these babies, that’s for sure. If you also are in the market for a black pair, they have them too! You only have until Jan 6th, so if you are one of the few who has not already made it to the Cart Sale…what are you waiting for? LOL.
Alrighty, as if you couldn’t tell from my pictures, while I was working on this post, my cats and I were being a bit lazy, and honestly…I’m going to just go back to being lazy with them. This year it seems like the holiday season has stretched on forever, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Just before December 25th Clawtooth sent out a free gift set of red and green hair to their subscriber group. You know what that means, FREE hair! This holiday gift style from Clawtooth named “Lady Juliette” comes in bright lemon lime and vibrant valentine tones. I can honestly say I really like the lemon lime version, not only do I enjoy having candy colored hair once in a while, green is at the top of the list. Not only does it remind me of one of my favorite alternative models, Victoria Von Violence, it’s also a little witch-y.

One thing that can certainly be said about my personal style, especially in Second Life, is that it’s a little bit witch-y. One cart I always go by at The Cart Sale events is the Kita’s Sideshow Cart. The items are always in darker colors, and tend to cater to a fun but somewhat gothic fashion sense. I picked up this ruffled sweater for just 10 linens at the Kita’s Sideshow Cart, among several other things, because really, you can’t get just one! I’m a sucker for a great sweater to begin with, and this one has the added cuteness of the faint snowflake patter in the ruffle at the bottom. Not in to ruffles, or snowflakes? No problem. This pretty dark purple sweater can be worn without the “skirt” portion for a no frills version.

I’m not usually one for making wishes or resolutions, but with New Year’s Eve nearly here, I thought maybe I should be thinking on it. It snowed heavily where I live. Ice too. The storms put much of my sleepy city to a stand still… and while there is always a beauty to such things, there is also a definite danger. I resolve to be thankful for all I have — a warm bed being one of those things.
There are just two days left till New Years, and also just a few days left to pick up your Peace on Earth prizes. The hunt ends January 9th. If you stop by Baboom you can get this amazing Snowy Dress for FREE. It comes in one piece and all the standard sizes and has a lovely lustrous effect I just loved. Well worth the stop. Don’t delay! I don’t often go ‘full glamour’ but Rowena’s Designs Cart over at the Wash Cart Sale sort of demanded it. This is the “Adalina” gown on the Cart for 10L. It comes in the standard Mesh sizes XXS-L and it’s alpha layer. There is kind of a dark side look to this outfit that makes my inner Goth very happy. The bodice is a very subtle leather look with deepest red highlights.
I picked up those red highlights in the absolutely gorgeous ‘Adalina’ necklace , also on the Cart. The necklace comes with a HUD to change the metal, the gems and the hanging jewels. In fact there are six metals choices, six gem choices and six jewel choices, making it a very versatile piece!
Even though the gown is floor length, I picked up the elegant matching ‘Adalina’ Heels for SLink High Feet. They also come with a HUD to change the colored section at the bottom of the shoe. I really do love it when a designer puts together such a well thought out and coordinating outfit. It’s one stop shopping at Rowena’s Designs Cart!

Even as we’re counting down to the New Year… the Cart Sale is rolling on!
I am just continually amazed at the generosity and team spirit of all the designs who participate in the Cart Sale at the Wash. There is a lot of work that goes into producing items for Second Life and for these designers to offer them to us for 10 tiny Lindens… Y’all are Fabulous! Just look at this great sweater dress I found on Encore’s Cart. The build is simply perfect and not to mention gorgeous. This is the ‘Cloe’ dress in black, it’s also available in a soft gray. The mesh dress comes in the standard sizes XS-XL. Encore has also started putting out really pretty nails for us on their Cart too. Each five design pack contains manni and pedi appliers for SLink, Belleza, Omega, Eve and Maitreya. I’m wearing the Designer Series pack #7 because… well… owls! I love owls and when I saw these little guys I was smitten.
Sometimes, two Carts just seem to have items that work so well with each other you have to pair them up. Even though Ms Calle showed us the ‘Oriels’ Heels here , the Dusk Vera booties from the Lindy Modern and Retro Cart just called my name. These come with their own alpha so they work with all kinds of feet including System.
The Awesome Cart Sale at the Wash rubs until January 6th so don’t delay too long….!
