Hey there Fabulouses! Pru and I came across a couple of 10L jackets by Ricielli on the marketplace that we both think you MUST have!
We headed out to take some photos for you so that you could get a good look at them, at least that’s what I thought we were headed there to do! Low and behold, Pru had other plans and got me good with a snowball sneak attack.
I am so going to get her back for this the next chance I get and it will need to be done when she least expects it, but for now… a truce. I love all the winter scenery around the grid right now. Everything looks pretty and sparkly covered with snow. It really is kind of magical, especially in a virtual setting. With so many places to explore, I donned some boots, and a warm cozy sweater and headed out for some fun in the winter sun. For starters when picking my outfit, I had to have this FREE group gift sweater from Hudson’s. It’s a beautiful shade of red, with a frilly lace “undershirt” for some added detailing. The undershirt is not a separate piece, however there are optional add-ons for the sleeves and the hem of the shirt to add some extra frill. There is also a system layer, and an Omega applier for the undershirt strap detail that shows with the off-the-shoulder part of the sweater. Additionally, the sweater comes in standard mesh sizes. The Hudson’s group is FREE to join as well, so no reason to miss this great gift!
I also picked up these cute wellies from SinfulSky on the Marketplace for just 1 linden! The rubber boots come in 3 colors, all of which have a cute bow in the back. The boots do not require any feet and include an alpha layer if you’re not wearing a mesh body. They are also easily re-sized and positioned. At just 1 linden, you’ll want to add these to your closet for sure!
This pretty shoulder-length hairstyle is a FREE group gift from Sentinus. The style is called Eleanor, and she includes a color change hud with 16 color options. The Sentinus group is also FREE to join at this time, and there are other group gifts available as well. I think my favorite part of this hairstyle is the hairline, gotta love the little details!
There are so many advents going on right now, I know it’s hard to keep up. I know I’ve missed a few days at some of the stores. Rather than walk in a Winter Wonderland, why not go for a ride? I found this too cute for words bicycle prop from What Next on the Marketplace. I started out on the Watercolors in the Rain Hunt where all the hunt gifts were FREE and found the “Eye of Delusion” necklace below (the main center eye actually moves within the pendant) and knew I had to put together a look. It stirred something within me. A bit of the old goth child, perhaps… who grew up writing dark poetry. If you live deeply the idea is that you see the world in such a way that you understand things and do not need to fear death. Perhaps this Eye will give you more insight… personally I liked the look either way!

My next stop was the Fantasy Collective. Good ol’ Winston Churchill couldn’t have done better as far as preparation. Be sure join the group FREEand collect your Fantasy Collective Birthday gifts while there (hurry the event won’t last forever). I stopped by the Valentine E. Booth and nabbed this fabulous FREEBang Bang Bullet Bracelet in Black. The resizer script makes it versatile enough to wear as I did… or as an armlet, headband, garter and more!
Though there were a ton of great goodies I am only showcasing a couple here for you. The other item I picked up for my dark and moody Gothic look this Sunday was American Beauty‘s Black Bralet Top. Again, a FREEgift at the Fantasy Collective and better yet, mesh in all the standard sizes.
My last stop was at Corvus. Long known for Gothic and vampire wear, I knew the store would not let me down for finishing off my morbid tastes this week. I managed to nab this caustically classic Black Combat Shorts for only 60L and they are mesh in all the standard sizes. A fabulous finale to round out my outfit.
