I absolutely love fireworks. That hasn’t always been the case, I was terrified of them as a child. I remember looking at them and feeling like they were so close they were going to burn me, I was not pleased. However, once I got past that it has been one long honeymoon for me and fireworks, for as you know, I love all things colorful and sparkly! Put that up in the night sky and you’ve made me a happy girl! I don’t like that they scare pets though. 😦 That part makes me sad.
So here in the states, as most of you know, we celebrate Independence Day. I feel like this year it stands for more than just one kind of independence. Partly, a coming out of the pandemic (hopefully!) and partly political for some of us. That makes it a bit extra happy for me this year.

In all honesty little moments like this one are my favorite part of the holidays. I find the most joy in things like wrapping presents, and cozying up with my love to watch Christmas movies. I stopped by to visit my friend, the one I mention frequently and who’s furniture I envied in my post {HERE}. (I’m pretty sure you can still get that table and screen and decor if you’re a member of the L’Homme group by the way.) And he had out a chair that I had to try out. Then he informs me he got it as a free gift at an event where almost every booth has a free gift out! Of course I demanded a shopping excursion. Was it too much that I asked him to hold my purse? (Good thing I don’t usually carry a purse in Second Life).

I’ve been back on the trail of yet another hunt that is well worth checking out. It’s inspired me go distinctively Siberian! The Holiday Hunt winds its way through several fantastic stores, and has loads of cute freeprizes for those willing to strain their eyeballs just a little bit! Also, each store has an item discounted that you can buy for a special low price! I landed first at Le Fil Cassé where I searched for the little red Santa box. After a bit of head scratching (not too much), I found it and within lurked this cute red skirt that is bordered with a touch of lace. Great for this time of year, but also can be worn beyond!

Hello again Fab Free’rs! As we creep closer and closer to Christmas I’m realizing I have so much still to do! Doesn’t it always seem that no matter how well you plan there’s always something left to be done. Baking is on the list of things to be done. Truth be told I probably do more baking Christmas Eve than I do the rest of the year combined. I like to gift baked goods. With that in mind the outfit Pru is wearing is very much an outfit I’d spend all day Christmas Eve in while I made a mess of my kitchen! This headband by Boutique 187 was just too cute to pass up. It’s the cherry on top of an already cute outfit. It isn’t often I have an excuse to wear such a cute and silly accessory. A hat for me!
Check out this cute witch’s hat by Safira! And it’s free too as part of the Once Upon a Nightmare Hunt! It’s a little hard to see, but if you look close there is a ribbon trailing down the back. It goes across the headband of the hat and is color change with 20 color options. The hat itself also changes too! 20 color options for that hat. How cool is that!

I also made a hunt stop at The Forge. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I hunted down the Once Upon a Nightmare box at this store. When I got home and unpacked my box I was pleasantly surprised with this black harness to fit a Maitreya body (it only comes in Maitreya fit) with little dotted skulls decorating the harness. It strategically covers all the naughty spots so that you can safely travel to pg areas. Again this is a free gift for your hunting time!
A place to sit!
