I wanted to go for a little more casual look that would tie in nicely with the beautiful Spring weather I’ve been enjoying in my neck of the woods, and The Loordes of London Designer Circle gift was perfect for that. My cute sweater/long-shirt, dress like combo, called The SL Retro Look #19, is their offering, and I really love the versatility of it. This one-piece mesh outfit is long enough that you could get away with wearing it on its own as a dress, short enough you could throw on a pair of comfy jeans, or do like I did, and wear a pair of leggings to get the best of both worlds! It comes in all the standard sizes, as well as several mesh body sizes. Oh, and speaking of leggings, the perfect, inventory staple must-have, pair of black leggings I am wearing, are the free gift you can grab from the CNZ display, also at Designer Circle. They come in a pants system layer, and an appliers hud that will work for many of the different mesh bodies out there. In my family, we have a tradition of getting a pair of pj’s every Christmas Eve. The thought behind it was that all of us would have something nice, and clean to wear for opening up presents Christmas morning. Now, even though it is usually my Mom who picks them out, this year, I picked out my own!
Come on though, look how cute these are! Can you blame me? I’m sure, if she had seen them first, she would have picked them out for me too. My super cute, and super comfy Lucky Jammies set is from the plowwies cart at the Wash Cart Sale. This one piece, full body, mesh set comes in all the standard sizes, and includes a pair of fun snowman slippers, which I had kicked off before taking this picture (my feet get hot very quickly 😛 ). As with all Cart Sale items, you can pick these up for only L$10. Oh, and guys, there are male versions available too. How cute would that be, matching jammies on Christmas morning!!
For all you pose lovers, elephante poses subscriber recently sent out its Dec 2015 gift. The 3 pack of poses is called Mary, and it is free in the history of the subscribo. If you are not in it already, all you need to do is subscribe at the store. As an special bonus, quite a few of the old subscribo gifts have been added as well, so don’t be surprised that when you subscribe, you get a whack load of gifts. I suggest, even if you were already in the list, to go down and unsubscribe, and then resubscribe, because while I was already in the list prior to this post, I did not get these older gifts automatically sent to me, and it was only after resubscribing that they were. There were 10 gifts total in there, including the newest that I am showing off. I’m not sure how long they will be there though, so don’t wait if you want them.

Ok, funny story. Here I was, doing a little decorating at my home to take pictures for this post, putting out some Christmasy stuff, when I decided that I didn’t like one of the items I had put out. So, I selected it and deleted it. Oops! It was actually my home that I had selected, and suddenly poof, no more church! What is even more funny, the actual building belonged to my Mom, so it is no simple thing to just pull it out of my inventory and put it back down, I have to wait for her to actually log into SL to put it back out for me. So now my post has turned into a Christmasy ‘waiting’ post. LOL
Lucky for me, I can almost forget that I am homeless for the moment, as I do not have to sit in the snow, I have a decorative element to make my wait pretty, and, one of my KittyCatS decided to hang around (while the rest immediately took off, enjoying their new-found, ‘no-wall’ freedom). The lovely ottoman I have, to keep me out of the snow, and the beautiful wreath behind me (easel not included), are both items available from the Park Place booth at the Wash Cart sale, which just so happened to have officially started today, and of course are each L$10. The choices of poses in the Red Poinsettia Ottoman, both for females, and males, are all really great, and I love the simplicity of the Holiday Ornament Wreath. You have until Jan 6th to visit the Park Place booth, for these, and other lovely decor items, as well as some pretty, mesh, crop sweaters.
Speaking of sweaters…I love the idea of the ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ party, and that was what I was actually decorating for in the first place. Well, maybe not a party, as it would have only been me and my cats, but…any excuse to wear an ugly Christmas sweater is ok in my books. How nice of high.v to have put out a gacha at this round of fi*Friday, just full of ugly Christmas sweaters! I got the perfect one for me, it says ‘I want to believe Santa is out there’, which all you fellow sci-fi/alien nerds know, is a riff on X-Files and the “I Want to Believe” UFO poster that Mulder has. For only L$55 a play, choose the machine you want to play, male, female or TD Kids and Baby. and then you will get 1 mesh sweater, that comes in all of the standard sizes. Even though I forgot to grab a shot of the ad showing every one available, believe me, they are all cute. In fact…they really aren’t ugly at all. I’m not sure if this machine will stick around for the next round, so just in case, you better make your way down to fi*Friday before Friday, or you may miss out.
OK, before I say goodnight, my kitty, Cinder, reminded me that I never did officially introduce her. Cinder is my newest furbaby, and she is the 5th Anniversary Firestorm KittyCat, The FireFlurry. Well hello lovelies! How is your week going? Mine has been up and down, I have to admit. However, that is one of the good things about being a FabFree blogger, searching for great stuff to show you all, always brings me up 🙂 I find, that even if I am online, yet not in SL, I will, at times, just browse the Marketplace looking for things I can show off. So I thought I’d show you some outfit pieces that work well together that are from the Marketplace, as well as an inworld group gift. Ok? OK!
So, I will start this by admitting that I have had the outfit that my skirt came from, in my inventory, for a few months *winces* . I know!! How could I have found something so pretty and not shown it to you right away? I’m bad 😉 . Good news though, by rediscovering it in my inventory, it made me want to go check out the MP store that I had originally gotten it from, Iffyta, again. My skirt is one half of the Jenna’s Fall outfit that is still available for L$1 HERE. In going back to the MP store, I found the Allie’s Winter outfit HERE, for only L$1 as well, and had to pair the shirt that was in it, with the skirt I already had. Both of these are part of a skirt and tied crop top outfit, and both come with texture change huds for each piece, that have 8 different choices. These pieces are mesh, and come in the standard sizes. Make sure you browse through the rest of the store, as there are many great deals to be found, including matching boots for each of these pieces.
The inworld group gift I am showing off is from one of my faves, Maxi Gossamer. She is currently offering a set of really pretty silver and black bangles, which come in several versions for you to be able to customize your look however you’d like. The MG group is free to join, and all you have to do is put on your tag, and touch the group gift ad board, and these babies are yours for free.

Hello all you beautiful fabfree’rs, and you handsome ones too 😉 How has your weekend been? I decided I wanted to take one of my cat’s out for a wander around SL this evening, and wouldn’t you know it, my newest baby, Pirilti, matched my outfit perfectly! Is it wrong that I considered that when choosing who to take out? LOL. Oh well, she enjoyed herself, as I ended up on a bridge surrounded by trees full of birds for her to watch while I posed. So what am I wearing that colour coordinates with my cat….let me show you!
I have to start with my super cute dress. This is the latest free Facebook gift from Alaskametro, and if you haven’t taken advantage of these gifts from them before, it requires a little bit of work. First you need to be logged in to Facebook, and then head on over to Alaskametro’s Facebook Page and ‘like’ it. Once that is done, hit the ‘special promotions’ tab and you should be taken to a picture of this dress, which also has a promotion code. Under the picture are the instructions on what to do once you TP yourself, in SL, over to Alaskametro‘s building. Here’s a hint, make sure you type the code in exactly as you see it, meaning all capital letters. The Ingrid Tunic dress is mesh, and comes in the standard sizes, and I really love the open sleeves.
While you are in the building, you might as well take a look to the left of the Facebook gifts poster, and you will see a little gacha machine. For only L$3 a play, you will receive one of the Byzantine nail appliers sets that give you a hud for both SLink finger and toe nails, as well as an Omega applier for both. Hopefully you have more luck than I did…I got several repeats of the same 4 colours! LOL. For such a small price per play though, I don’t mind really. I’ve included a shot of the gacha ad so you can see the large assortment of colours available, as well as the other 2 patterns. I, btw, am wearing the Mocha colour.
Lastly, did you noticed that gorgeous unicorn ring on my finger? Well, it is a group gift from the current round of the Oneword event, and it is from Moon Amore. This months theme/word, is Dream, and I think a unicorn fits that theme perfectly. You get 3 different colour combinations, I am wearing the silver/blue version. This gift is free after you join the Oneword group, which is free to join. There are several more gifts for group members, from other stores as well, so make sure you grab all of them. This round of Oneword runs until the 15th, so don’t take too long before heading over there, it’ll be gone before you know it.

First off is this lovely dress from Loovus. It is their most recent subscribo gift, so no group space will be used to get this freebie! Yayy. The .::Loovus::. Solange – Cypress is such a nice, simple, yet tasteful dress, you can dress it up or down as the occasion calls for. It is mesh, and comes with the standard sizes, and I really like the drapping effect in the skirt, it looks so natural 🙂 .
The second group gift I’m showing off, are my super cute shoes! I love shoes…just thought I’d put that out there in case it wasn’t obvious yet 😛 . These beauties are the current free group gift from Ecce Bellus, and they are a special, dark brown version of the Barbara shoes that are a new release. They are made for SLink high feet, and don’t be alarmed if when you first put them on they are up by your ankles. It took me a second to remember that they are not rigged and could easily be adjusted! The Ecce Bellus group is L$50 to join, but it is well worth that nominal fee, as the group gifts are given quite regularly. You will find this one in the notices btw, and as it was sent out on the 22nd, you only have until the 5th to grab it there. There are less than 2hrs left until it is midnight here in SL, and I said I would be back before the evening was over, so here I am! She looked so good once she was done, and was so impressed with it, that she told me I had to show it off! Luckily I agreed with her, and had already had plans to go scoop up this gorgeous, glittery, mesh New Years Eve dress gift from Sugar Button Boutique to show you all! It is free for everyone, so no need for a group. It comes in the standard sizes…and I am so in love with that glittery texture!
Wanting to stick with the glitter, and knowing I had been a tease in my previous post, in only showing you 1 of the free for all gift hairs from .Olive., I thought I’d show off another one. My gorgeous SLink high feet shoes were all my Mom. She found these as a free SLF&O group gift from NoName. The SLF&O group is free to join, you just need to have your tag on when you head over to the NoName store to get them. You’ll be excited to hear, that there is a second version of these heels available, with another 4 different textures for the noname group, which is also free to join.

It’s Boxing Day here in Canada, a tradition we kept from our former British Colony days. It usually means 1 of 2 things: A) We go out and brave the crowds for wonderful Boxing Day sales, or B) We laze around fiddling with Christmas gifts and eating leftover turkey. I thought I’d mix a bit of both, laze around in RL and go shopping in SL! Of course, that means some goodies to show off to you all.
First off, I’m sure by now, you all know about the Happy Holidays Event going on at the Wash Sim. I visited the HANAU booth, and picked out this beautiful gown. The HANAU – Winter Dreams Gown Ice, is a sleek, mesh gown, perfect for the parties that are going to be happening between now and New Years. It is only L$10, and if you prefer purple, there is a Lavender version available as well. For you fellow SLink wearers, there is also a set of matching polish appliers! If you are in the market for some after party, intimate wear, check out the pretty lingerie being offered. I’ve included a shot of the HANAU Booth, but you really should just go and take a good close look. You have until the end of the month!
The lovely necklace I am wearing is part of a set that includes earrings and a bracelet. I was bad, and didn’t get a good close up of the other pieces, but I assure you, they are just as beautiful as this necklace. The Promised Morrow Set, from Chop Zuey is the final Advent Gift from their free-to-everyone calendar. I really love how versatile this set will be, as it is not so obviously a Christmas based gift. I do not know how long the calendar will be out, so do not wait too long to go grab this set, as well as the other gifts that are still available.
Now, if you are admiring the lovely poses I’ve used in this post, you need to just head on down to //elephante poses// and grab them! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I am currently sitting at home, taking a break before having to head over to my Mom’s for supper. We are having Mexican…..you thought I was going to say turkey, didn’t you 😛 We are actually having the big Christmas dinner tomorrow night, but tonight is Mexican food, and the Doctor Who Christmas special. So excited! But…..I thought I would stop in and show you a few gifts that were released as of Christmas Eve.
First, and most exciting, for me at least, is the introduction of the newest Fairey Kitty family member, Pirilti. The name means Twinkle in Turkish. This gorgeous girl is the day 24, final gift, from the KittyCatS Advent Calendar. I’m sure, those of you familiar with the KittyCatS Advent from years past, already knew a special kitty was coming, and had to be as excited as I was to see what they would look like. Brilliant dark blue with white snowflakes, and a matching collar, she is so pretty 🙂 This kitty, unlike the Firestorm ones I’ve shown before, is not a perma pet, and will need food, so keep that in mind. As with all the KittyCatS Advent gifts, the cat is free for everyone, however, I am sure the calendar will not remain around for much longer after the holidays, so make sure you visit the store before it’s gone.
A very welcome surprise yesterday, was a free gift for Curio group members (Gala & Rita Design Announcements is the group name), in the form of a beautiful new skin called Angelica. The group is free to join, and the gift is stored in notices. Once you open the gift, you will get this beautiful skin with golden eyeshadow, and deep red, shiny lips, in 6 skin tones, with 4 different brow colours each. Gala Phoenix has long been one of my favourite skin designers in SL, with her skins being my first purchase in SL, ever. I even still have those oldies, so I am always excited to see new faces from her. Notices are only around for 2 weeks, so do not delay grabbing this generous gift.
Lastly, I wanted to point out my new sparklies, which, if you are anything like me, I am sure you were eyeing up. I’m baaaa-ckkk! I had so much fun doing a themed Christmasy look on Friday night, that I am doing another today. This time, I’m a reindeer! Well, ok, maybe I’m not a reindeer, but I sure found a lot of cute reindeery items to put together! 1 freebie, 1 free group gift, and 1 gacha item. Wanna see, well alrighty then.
I’m going to start with my sweet sweater and skirt group gift, which is free from [bubble]. If you are not a member of their group, you will need to pay a L$150 join fee, but as I’ve mentioned before, there are a bunch of previous group gifts still out for you to grab. Once you put your tag on, you just need to slap the picture of the outfit, and it’s yours! These 2 pieces are both mesh, with all of the standard sizes available, as well as a flat chest version of the sweater in sizes S and XS. I love how the colours of these are not traditional Christmas colours, so while I think of Christmas when wearing them, they could easily be worn at any time of the year. Remember…versatility rocks!
My next item, well, it screams Christmas. These fun antlers that I am wearing, are another Promenade gacha prize, this time from AJ Designs. They are L$50 per play, and there are 9 total to play for: 7 commons, 1 secret common, and 1 rare. The lights on mine really blink and light up, as well, one of the commons, and the rare, have flashing Rudolph noses. Make sure you grab AJ Designs free gift too, there is a tee for Women, and a tee for Men, in the present on the table, beside the gacha poster. As I mentioned yesterday, you have until Dec 21 to visit this round of The Promenade, so don’t wait too long!
My last find, is actually one that I picked up a week ago, but had been waiting to find just the right outfit to wear it with. My lovely Reindeer necklace is a free for all gift from Izzie’s, and goes oh-so nicely with everything else I have on, obviously I was meant to wait to show it to you all. The jewel in the center is texture change, so it will compliment any colour palette you are wearing, and while I am wearing it with a more casual look, it can easily be added to a much more formal outfit. Perfect for a Christmas party, wouldn’t you say? I do not know how long this giftie will be out, so I would not wait too long to go grab it.
