In my family, we have a tradition of getting a pair of pj’s every Christmas Eve. The thought behind it was that all of us would have something nice, and clean to wear for opening up presents Christmas morning. Now, even though it is usually my Mom who picks them out, this year, I picked out my own!

Come on though, look how cute these are! Can you blame me? I’m sure, if she had seen them first, she would have picked them out for me too. My super cute, and super comfy Lucky Jammies set is from the plowwies cart at the Wash Cart Sale. This one piece, full body, mesh set comes in all the standard sizes, and includes a pair of fun snowman slippers, which I had kicked off before taking this picture (my feet get hot very quickly 😛 ). As with all Cart Sale items, you can pick these up for only L$10. Oh, and guys, there are male versions available too. How cute would that be, matching jammies on Christmas morning!!

For all you pose lovers, elephante poses subscriber recently sent out its Dec 2015 gift. The 3 pack of poses is called Mary, and it is free in the history of the subscribo. If you are not in it already, all you need to do is subscribe at the store. As an special bonus, quite a few of the old subscribo gifts have been added as well, so don’t be surprised that when you subscribe, you get a whack load of gifts. I suggest, even if you were already in the list, to go down and unsubscribe, and then resubscribe, because while I was already in the list prior to this post, I did not get these older gifts automatically sent to me, and it was only after resubscribing that they were. There were 10 gifts total in there, including the newest that I am showing off. I’m not sure how long they will be there though, so don’t wait if you want them.

Being green doesn’t make you evil.

Hello again my pretties. *cackles* How many of you lovely readers have seen the musical Wicked? I went a few years ago, and loved it! I enjoyed seeing a different side to the story of the wicked witch. So for this Halloween, I’ve decided to put together a look that I think says wicked witch…who’s fun and cool, and not evil at all! I promise, I was not stirring up some evil potion in that cauldron, it was just supper, really!

Ok ok, so it all started with the latest free group gift from Sugar Button Boutique. How cute is this dress! This short Halloween dress in brown is fitted mesh, in a few different sizes, and I think it is a great alternative to what you would normally see a green-skinned witch dressed up in. You know the look, long, black, maybe a little ragged, cloak/dress of some kind. While there is nothing wrong with that, as I said, I wanted fun, cool…normal. LOL. The Sugar Button Boutique group is L$100 to join, but there are past group gifts still available, so it’s more than worth it.

Needing a little bling, I found the coolest bat leg chain accessory at the current round of The Fantasy Collective, and it is from Una. It is non-rigged mesh, so you can adjust it to your heart’s content (I made mine a touch smaller to fit with my leg size). If you have yet to wander around the Fantasy Collective this round, make sure when you land, you join the free group, as this leg chain, along with a whole whack load of other goodies, is free as part of a little trick or treat set up that is for group members only. All of the participating vendors have a pumpkin beside their booths, and all you need to do is touch the pumpkins to receive either a trick, or a treat. Trust me, they are all treats!

Next I needed shoes. Seriously, as I was thinking of what I could put on, a well-timed notice from the Shey group showed up with these awesome black boots attached! The Shey Hallow Boot’s are mesh, and come in the standard sizes. No special feet required. The group is free to join, and you just have to check the notices to grab these free boots. Remember, group notices only last 2 weeks, so don’t wait.

Lastly, I wanted to show that it’s not always flying monkeys that we wicked witches use as companions. I just so happened to find the cutest little pumpkin headed ghost in my travels. His name is George, but he is so cute, that I call him Georgie. He is available, for free, at the !Ohmai store. He was created during a livestream tutorial for mesh making here in SL, and since he turned out so nice, Anya Ohmai, the creator, decided to bring him inworld and give him away to everyone. Warning, he does moan and groan a lot, but I think it’s ghost for ‘look how cute I am’.

Now before I leave, I just wanted to mention the perfect green skin I am wearing. Unfortunetely, it does not quite fall in our L$75 and under guidelines, but, it is such a great deal, I couldn’t not tell you all. The lovely Lumiya Rae of Lumae has put out 3 versions of the beautiful Niska skin, in the ghoulish Wicked tone, for only L$100 each! Each skin comes with 5 options for eyebrows, all the appliers you could ever ask for, and even the cute pointed ears I have on. Now you see why I had to mention it. You have until November 6th to get them at this price, and then they go up to L$425 each.

Alrighty, I think this cool witch is done for now. My soup is starting to smell a little less like soup, and more like a burnt potion. Oops! That’s what I get for not paying attention. *cackles again* I am going to go try to save it. Until next time, TTFN 🙂

Some Day My Prince Will Come

Hello dear readers, here are some beautiful freebies and discounted creations that are sure to enchant and delight you on this Friday.

Firstly, the Rainbow Dress is the new group gift from !Soul and it is just beautiful. I adore rainbows and so I had to have this as soon as I saw the notice for it. There are Lola appliers included in with the dress too! The group is currently at the time of writing this free to join and there are a few other gifts to collect also! As I was looking for something to wear with it, I recieved another notice from Glow Studios to say they had set a new group gift out too! Serena has been busy with RL travel and business, so Duncan and I thought we’d come over and check on the house for her. When we arrived, we were shocked to find the beach had been invaded… by hedgehogs! I have no idea how they got on the island, but they’ve sure made themselves at home.

Until We Meet Again…

This has been an extremely difficult post for me to write. In fact, it has taken me all week to finish it! The reason is because this will be my last post for FabFree… at least for a while. Some RL opportunities presented themselves to me a couple months ago, and I decided that the time was right for me to pursue them. Unfortunately, this means I will no longer be able to keep up with the busy FabFree blogging schedule. 😦 But who knows… I may turn up in a guest post once in a while. And I may be back if/when RL settles down. What I know for certain is that I will really miss this fabulous group of bloggers, and I will truly miss all of you wonderful readers.

Ok, enough mush. I wanted to leave you with a special post, so here goes! 🙂 My pretty, green dress is the latest subscriber gift from DaneMarkZ. I really like the texture and the summery “feel” to it. And this gorgeous ponytail hair is the latest group gift from LeLutka. You get a huge fatpack of colors, so you’re sure to find one you like!

This creamy skin is Glam Affair’s Livy in the Arctic 05 flavor. You can try your luck to win her for 100L at The Arcade Gacha. My pretty jewelry is a group gift from Baby Monkey, and includes the earrings, necklace, and ring, as well as a HUD with 9 different textures. The applier for my nails is a subscriber gift from {Wicked} Peach, and it includes 6 textures for fingers and toes.

N-Core Design recently put out these gorgeous shoes as a group gift. The heel is texture-change, and of course, you can change your pedicure. N-Core shoes come with their own feet, but the skin matching system is pretty awesome. I had no trouble at all matching to my pale Glam Affair skin, although I did have to play with the sizing a teensy bit. The water fountain in the background is a group gift from [we’re CLOSED], and my cute Frenchie pup can be found in a gacha at The Chapter Four (Love showed the cream-colored pup, as well as the Dandelion and Bumblebee Fairies here).

Getting Peachy With My Friends

Good morning Fabulouses 🙂  Yes..  I know it’s Monday, but it can still be good!  I know just the way to deal with  that darn “Monday Mayhem”…  Call up your friends and go a little crazy!

Today, I have four little friends with me.  I only started out with the fairies… but the rest followed!

So Winter is on its way. I know some of you have already have the first sprinkling of snow this season (England is yet to have even a lick of snow, which is odd!) but I definitely felt the cold when I went for a walk yesterday. So I have some really nice wintery freebies, cheapies and group gifts for you all today!

Rozena has always been my favourite brand to buy lipsticks from, but yesterday they released this gorgeous skin with soft cheeks and bitten lips and guess what? It’s absolutely free. You don’t even need to join the group to grab it, just walk in and buy it for 0L$!

Also free are my funny little alpaca companions behind me! They’re a free gift from ER and it comes with a small one and a large one. I think they look really cute as well as hilarious, I couldn’t resist adding a little bit of fun to a serious photo.

The polar bears are a group gift from Birdy. Once you’ve joined the group, just pay 1L$ and these fuzzy little critters are yours! The little sleepy fox is also from Birdy but isn’t free unfortunately.

I found this pretty dress going for 5L$ on the marketplace by a store called Fo*fun. It reminded me of pink roses so, unable to quench my thirst for florals (yes,even in winter. You’ll never stop me), I tried to make a pretty floral yet chilly look around it.

And finally, it’s friday so why not show you one of the items Half Deer has out for this week’s round of Fifty Linden Fridays? These soft white deer ears are a wintery twist on one of Halogen’s past FLF items and it just looks great with white hair and some pastel antlers!

As you may or may not have heard by now, the Philippines has been devastated by Super Typhoon Haiyan which has thought to have killed 10,000 people in a single city alone and 660,000 people have lost their homes. They’re without food or shelter or warmth or electricity. These people are in dire need of your help which is why I urge you to visit the Water Lantern festival.

The festival is a 10 day long event with lots of awesome designers making gorgeous asian-inspired items and gacha machines, all set in a beautiful sim. There is a tent located at the entrance where you can donate to the Red Cross Typhoon relief fund or you may purchase a few items in the tent where 100% of the proceeds will go to  helping those in the Philippines get clean water, food and shelter before more bad weather sets in.
